In the process of purchasing a house through Purplebricks, and unlike traditional estate agents, they do not help you at all once your offer is accepted. We had our offer accepted back in July, and still no further forward with getting a date for keys. They don't keep you updated on what is happening throughout the process, when you do call post sales support they are quite unhelpful, my latest phone call the lady asked me 'what exactly do you want me to do?' - chase the solicitor that you push sellers to use as they are useless! So dissatisfied in the overall service, this experience would be enough to put me off from ever buying through them again - regardless if the house was perfect. Currently sat due to have a baby any minute and we have no home. Thanks Purplebricks for absolutely nothing.

I sold my house using purple bricks, my agent was Carolyn Edgar. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me secure my asking price. The first couple she introduced me to made the offer of the asking price after the first viewing and we completed in five weeks.if I move again Carolyn will be the first person I call she is a credit to her profession.Thomas(Ted) Forster

Never use purple brick's. Absolutely useless. Especially Carolyne Edgar, Belfast office. Ran into a few problems with my house sale and never once did she lift the phone to offer any advice or support. Once the sign you up they move on and forget about you

Never use Purplebricks Service was so appalling we had to involve ombudsman. Although complaint upheld they still charged us and threatened blacklisting. They take no responsibility for their shortcomings. Use at your peril.

Misleading advertising, I checked with Zoopla and Rightmove houses sold and they are the worse performing in my area. They do not tell you that if you pay later the conveyancer charges an extra 450 payable to PB on completion or that you have to pay an extra 299 plus vat on completion if you pay up front and do not use their conveyancer. They do not send you a detailed valuation or terms and conditions, but lead you in to clicking on photos waiving your right to a cool off peros and then the service is bad. Online clients cannot always scroll down to read your message. Just awful.

I placed my property with Purple Bricks and 12 months later still on the market. I have now paid my fee in total in excess £1,000. Poor service, only occasional contact from my local agent and certainly they do not go out of their way to try to get buyers through the door. Only excuses such as current state of the market and Brexit. I would not recommend them. Standard agent at least you don’t pay if not sold.

I decided to put my house on the market. It was valued and we were promised a 5*service. 1 house viewing and no communication from our agent for 5 months, we just sat waiting. I complained and decided they were not providing me the service I was paying for so removed the property. They compensated me £250 off the final invoice admitting that purple bricks did not provide us with the service promised but still leaving me bill of over £900. I decided to go to ombudsman and complain higher. I found out they had over valued my property by £10000 this is why no viewings. But after all this, the ombudsman awarded us only another £200 compensation. We are left with a £750 bill for basically listing my overpriced property on the Internet. I would never recommend this agent and be careful you may not get the service promised and be left with a big bill.

The company had horrible customer service. Never replied to our emails or fix errors in the contract. Couldn't even trace the payment we made.

You have no rights- their conning the public they subscribe to an ombudsman who apparently have no control over finance?? They hide behind the law- customer service is a joke You won’t get the service you won’t get your money back- you’ve been warned!!

Only giving 1 star due to the fact it was sold but nothing PB did I’m afraid. And once sold didn’t hear a peep from them at all. We took their conveyancers too and can’t be much more positive I’m afraid. Get what you pay for😢

Extremely unhelpful staff. Very rude. They tried to change my booking for a house viewing because their staff is late. They sent text message at night and played a voting-for-majority exercise. They told me I am the only person to view the property so they decided to leave me out. No apology, no workable alternatives and no willingness to help. Come on. I only need a house viewing. Certain staff at Purplebricks better pursue their career in politics!

Once you sign up they know they will be paid and no effort is made to sell your house. Had 1 viewing in 6 months and that couple did not have their house on the market. Went with another estate agent, had 3 viewings in the first month and sold the house. I will never use or recommend again.

Being with Purple Bricks has been a waste of valuable time, stressful and unproductive. My complaint has not been resolved after waiting for over 4 weeks when I was told it would take no more than 5 working days. I have been met with empty promises and at times hostility. Their lack of customer care is appalling. A very dissatisfied customer.

My house has been on the market with them a for 5 months, not had many viewings. I asked what could we do to market the property more, they suggested removing it from the market for a few weeks and putting back on !!!!! what good will that do ??? and I was right absolutely nothing. I was dealing with one person then they left and the the next person has left. I would like to go with an other agent but apparently I have to pay £895.00 to leave Purple Bricks !!! Not happy

Awful from almost start to never finishing!!! Agreed sale of house in August and today 8th October receive phone call to say the buyer has pulled out, no reason given. Then I get an email to say that I have pulled out of the sale and the buyer has been notified. So angry and disgusted at the lack of accuracy over anything. We now cant get to the bottom of who called us even though their end it will show a record of someone changing the sale from sold to withdrawn. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE!!!! I almost forgot trying to actually speak to someone is also impossible!!!!

Purple Bricks are scammers. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go to Purple Bricks. They are good at talking a good game but they do not deliver. I have had property managers changed on me 3 times in 6 months, the tenant paid 2 months rent and stopped paying until she eventually left owing me 3 months rent. When I requested for the tenant deposit, Purple Bricks deducted 3 months management fees from that!!!! Saying they managed the property even when she wasnt paying rent. So I lost £1200 but PB still deducted 3 months of management fees. When I asked how will they recover my lost rent, they said she's vacated the property so i should go to small claims court. Customer service 2 out of 10. management 1 out of 10. Totally unbelievable. Scammers!!

Don’t even deserve one star. Pay for a fully managed package for renting my property, they do nothing and keep taking more and more money off my rental income for what?!! Twice my Tennants have threatened to leave due to issues at the house not being corrected. And I don’t blame them! Purplebricks do not respond to emails or calls, there’s been a threat to the Tennants safety and the only way I’ve known about it is from the neighbours. I’ve had to make numerous trips to Scotland to get contractors and sort things out. Would never use them again, nothing but false advertisement.

Once the for sale sign is up they show no interest. Thete is no motivation to sell your house as they get the same money sold or not. If I could give zero I would. Dont waste your time and money
