Waiting 6 weeks for a refund!! Do not buy from this company!!

I reviewed a few days ago as they owed me £204 since they received items back on 6th May.........well surprise surprise they have just sent the refund!! Don't give up hope but keep sending the emails I sent 12 and in the end it worked. I do hope they have got themselves sorted now as I do love their clothes.

I returned 2 parcels at the same time, received a refund for one of them but have had nothing for the other. I have sent several emails with no response. Why am I still getting regular newsletters regarding the new arrivals etc!! How can the company still be trading whilst the refund situation appears to be in chaos? I have bought several items from Roman in the past and been pleased with their service, sadly I will not be using the website again.

I returned an order value just under £300 on 17th May and am really concerned as I can see other messages from customers who returned items before then and have still not had a refund. I also have emailed a couple of times and no response. They need to be truthful and let us know what is going on. They are still taking orders!

Waiting for a refund of £88. Post office delivered the refund on 19th May and I am still waiting. Their phones are out of order

Horrendous customer service, returned a dress on 4th May, they received it on 6th, no refund after 14 days so chased them and got an automated reply that tells you don't send another one as will delay things, sent a chaser/complaint which has nit been acknowledged. If they have a complaints process they must be in breach of it. Will never use them again.

As with others posting here, no refund forthcoming and no replies through email and messenger. I have bought from them before with no problem so am very disappointed. I bought direct, but would be interested to know if anyone bought from them through Next and had the same problems?

I returned 2 dresses on the same day....posted on 21st April 2022, received by them on 22nd April. Received one refund on 20th May but still waiting for the other refund! I have sent various messages via their contact service on the website....guess what...no reply other than automated. Sent a private message via Messenger and got an automated reply. Where do I go from here to get my money back?

Just reading the reviews below, I have the same problem. Returned two dresses over three weeks ago , value £120 still waiting on my refund . Cannot contact them by phone , as phone out of order !? sent two emails and had no response. Shocking service , which makes me think they could be in trouble ! Do not buy anything from them .

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Impossible to contact, they probably haven't paid their phone bill. My return was received by them on 27th April, confirmed by them on 4th May, thats the last I've heard from them. Absolutely disgusting service.

Returned an item for an exchange on the 16th May still no exchange or reply to three emails.I will never buy from Roman again it’s disgusting the way they are treating customers.

As with many other reviews, i am still awaiting a refund from the beginning of May. Phone lines are inoperative, no response to my emails, even tried contacting them via messenger but just got an automated reply! Strangely i have ordered and paid for another item and that has been despatched so it looks like its just returns and tefunds that are affected!! Come on Roman, what is happening? This complete lack of communication for this length of time is totally unacceptable!!

No refund for clothes sent back on 7th May 2022. It was received to them on 8th may 2022. Can't ring as phone line down due to network fault. Sent 4 emails to be totally ignored. I have bought many times before and no problems until now. But no idea what's going on except I'm out of pocket and they have the goods back. I feel they are a become a bunch of thieves now and innocent people are still buying from them. Carron

Same as others.. returned dress, tracked as delivered back to Roman 18/5/22. Two chaser emails , no refund , no response. Have purchased a lot of items especially since demise of Debenhams.. running out of places to shop !

I have tried repeatedly to speak to customer service and as others state phone line has a 'fault'. I have sent numerous emails... No response and just sent another.. Got immediate response saying email has been blocked. So so fed up with this company.

Having read all the reviews below, it is clear that my attempts to get any level of customer service and refund will be wasted. I have spent £200 on 3 dresses. One is fine, one is faulty and one is not required. The latter was as a result of the online ordering system overriding my request and sending me a dress I do not want. Like others, I have had no joy in getting any response from the message portal, despite it saying a response will be made within 48 hours. Clearly, this is a company which is either in trouble or is only interested in sales. Customers are definitely not important to them. A profitable company is one that has returning customers. Sadly, Romans is not one of them and customers like me will not be returning.

Returned 3 Items on 11.5.22 no refund and no answer to any emails .I have bought Roman clothing for years in store - I will never buy online again Does any one have any idea how to contact them ?

Love the clothes have ordered many items..don't know what's happening now with refunds or exchanges still waiting a month now for exchange carnt get in touch with anyone by phone or email..now so very disappointed with this company

Used this company fir years the first time I complained product faulty. I E mailed even sent a complaint through resolver ..nothing no reply at all will not use again Lorraine goidwin
