The item in question was returned via Royal Mail and tracked, eventually Roman Originals confirmed receipt and said they would sort the refund asap. It is now exactly 1month and still no refund although they said that a refund had been authorised. Numerous attempted telephone calls which were a waste of time as I was always 25 in queue etc, as of today still nothing numerous emails, computer generated replies etc just fed up now, they are an absolute disgrace do not buy from them unless you are sure you are happy with your choice because if you have to return it you will suffer the same as hundreds of other unfortunate customers be aware!!!!

I love Roman Originals clothing and have always found them to be well made and delivered promptly and over the years have purchased many items, however, my recent experience with two returned items is very disappointing. I returned one item requesting a replacement on 9 May. Today - 7 June, despite emailing and receiving automated email responses saying a ticket has been lodges, I have not received a replacement item, nor have I received a credit to my account for this item and another item sent over a week ago for a refund. Trying to speak to someone on their customer services telephone line is frustrating to say the least - waited in a queue for over 15 minutes and was then cut off. Sadly after this experience, I will not be placing any more orders with them.

Roman have had my rtn since 30th April and still no refund. Tried contacting by phone and that's useless as well as you are always 29 something in the queue. Put me off purchasing anything else from roman.

It’s a great pity that Roman Originals customer service is so inferior to their clothes. I have been waiting over four weeks for a replacement for an order I returned despite innumerable emails to them. All I get back is an automated email saying “a ticket has been raised” but no follow up. It is also impossible to contact them on the phone - a recorded message says to hang on then goes dead. If you order anything, ensure you get the right size etc as return and refunds are VERY difficult.

I am a regular customer and have spent a lot of money with Roman but they have lost a Customer now, item returned online for a exchange to next size up as petite jumpsuit too short in the body. The nearest store 12 miles away don’t stock Petite do sent back online as order that way . Tracking shows they got item off me 18/05/23. 3 emails got automated response . Phone isn’t answered or it’s automatic cut off. Wanted the item for my holiday well it’s too late now. I’ve gone through resolver and got same automatic reply. Going to consider small claims case as I want full refund now

Not Refunded for something I sent back and tracking shows they received 5 weeks ago. Have sent 3 emails to customer service heard nothing!

Love the clothes would give 4 stars but sizes on the large side. However one star or should be zero for customer services. Very very difficult to contact by email or phone or should I say IMPOSSIBLE. I received an email acknowledging the return of my goods value £90.90 Order 1031944259 20 days ago. Purely useless emails sent telling me a ticket has been made out - whatever that means! My emails keep getting returned & no one answers the phone. I have sent a text today & see what outcome that leads to. They have my returned goods and my money.....what happens next!!!!!!! Very very poor service after delivery - think twice about using them if you have to return any items.

Everything and owed over £120 for several returns. Please look up Resolver online and raise case with Romans co name and order no and they do their best to get refund back.

Sent the dress back tracked in April it was delivered proof by post office No refund given as I paid by Klarna they now want payment which reluctantly I will have to do pay for an item I don’t have £28.99 Tried calling number 29 in the que then cut off Tried emailing at least 4 times Do not order off this company something is badly wrong Now £28.99 out of pocket they should be forced to close down if this is how they treat customers

Ordered a dress online on 8/4/23 which arrived on 16/8/23 but too large so returned it on 18/4/23. I asked for a refund but to date (2/6/23) have not heard anything after having sent 3 emails. I am still awaiting the refund and will not ever use this company again after such a bad experience. I am totally disappointed as I cannot afford to lose this money or wait for this length of time for a refund. Do not use this company ! Bad customer service!

Ordered some trousers size 12 but sent them back for size 10 I’ve not received them that’s 2 weeks ago. Sent 2 email and no reply. Phoned them up and someone spoke then put the phone down . Not happy .

Returned item by tracked post over a month ago and still no refund. Customer service is a joke with no response to email other than “ a ticket has been raised” and a phone number that is constantly switched off.

Still waiting for a £26.00 refund for a top returned to them on 7th April 2023...I know that they have received this and their email says "ticket issued", but still no refund. Have chased this 3 times by email and tried to ring Customer Services..automated answer then call cut off. Appalling service would not recommend this company to anyone.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I used to use Roman Originals but the service is now appalling. Up to an hour wait on phones and then they won't chase up your refunds, you have to CHASE AND CHASE them to get YOUR OWN MONEY BACK!. FORGET EMAILING, THEY REFUSE TO EVEN ANSWER COMPLAINTS. You will get an automated response to say complaint received and will be dealt with and then they just ignore and ignore until about 10 days later when they just close complaint saying it has been dealt with WHEN THEY HAVE NOT EVEN RESPONDED TO YOU!!

Really liked the dress I ordered but needed smaller size. Sent back same day just for a swap that was 15th April . Royal Mail tracking say’s received it 19th I’ve not heard anything or received the smaller size .Very disappointing.

Like 100's of others....weeks after returning an order to you and still no refund. No reply to emails. No answering the phone. Does this constitute as fraud? Theft? Taking/keeping money that's not yours?

Hi I'm still waiting a refund been longer than 14 days .have sent my third email still no reply even though it says reply within 24hrs .shoddy service didn't expect this from this company . tried ringing 22in the qué that tells you something.still waiting what's going on

As everyone has said their timescale for returns back to your bank is woeful. I accept that £3.00 is deducted from the return to cover their postage but fail to understand why it takes so long to actually give you the refund you are due. Tracked my return and it was received the day after I posted it but I am still waiting for a refund to land in my bank over 2 weeks later.

I purchased a top in February paid or by £30 gift voucher plus a few extra pounds but I decided to return it. I returned with a tracking number and it was received by Roman. A couple of days later I had an email confirming they had received it and as I paid by gift voucher I would be refunded by one. The email also stated it would take up tom20 days to process it! After numerous emails to and fro with Customer Services I am still waiting for the voucher. I worked in accounts for over 30 years and can honestly say I have NEVER come across such incompetence. I have purchased many items of clothing of the past but once I get this sorted I will never purchase from Roman again. Barbara Thorold

Very poor on customer refunds. Hang on to your money for weeks although no dispute they have the returned items. Very bad working practice as obviously done to boost cash flow. Avoid if you think you may have to return an item.
