“Still not purchasing from them. They have made no efforts to reduce plastic packaging, no efforts to sell sustainable clothing, (most of it is from China) and their staff are not impressed with them as a company either.”

“Disgraceful experience at the Barnet store today approached the sales lady with a return item, which kept her back turned to me and kept repeating, I'm not helping you without a reciept, I didn't want my money back just a credit note , she kept her back turned to me, and asked me to move away to the front of the till, still with her back turned dealing with some clothes , I said she was a rude nasty person and walked out, Last week I purchased a trousers whick was supposed to be size 16 but when trying it on it wouldn't go above my knees, The lady in question was of Eastern European origin and so so rude, I would never enter that store again, please remove my Email address from your list, I do not want any adverttising from you in future.”

“Placed 2 orders both orders were received incorrectly. Not the items I ordered so I returned the items only to find they charged me £3 per order! When contacting them they advised this was company policy! Absolute joke! Definitely won’t be ordering from Roman again!”

“Am awaiting response for request for exchange, have said they have no record of my email address, strange considering they email to confirm order, taken money ok but avoid either returning money or exchanging item, would definitely warn others be wary.”

“I am waiting for a delivery to France which I am unable to track .No help from customer service phone call after waiting in queue of 19. Unable to contact by email today and the queue is 21 for the phone . The order was £112 and I have already had to pay 31€for tax. I am very dis appointed in the lack of service and will be asking for a refund if parcel does not arrive soon. Although judging by other reviews this seems to be extremely difficult. I have not had a problem like this with other uk retailers.”

“Cannot return an item as according to there website I haven’t even ordered the item. Tried e-mail, no reply, tried phoning twice, both time got to number 2 in queue to be cut off, wasted two hours waiting.”

“September 3 2024 I placed an order for 3 tops and 1 pair of yoga pants. I notified this company today to let them know that I never got the yoga pants and that the 3 tops I had ordered wasn't the right size that I placed. The lady at customer service was so freaking rude and disrespectful, keep talking over me. She wanted to give me a gift card in place of my cash after I've agreed to return the merchandise. This is the second time I've complained about merchandise that I had ordered from their store and they were are terrible companies to do business with. I wouldn't recommend folks to give your business to these companies ( Roman's, and Woman Within. If I could give 0 stars I would have. I had to give 1 star to give a review.”

“Terrible customer services . Sent incorrect tracking number , cannot get a reply with correct tracking number . Item not received. Long repose time from customer services to get a refund as incorrect tracking number does not allow me track the parcel or confirm it is list . Therefore no refund !”

“BEWARE: Ordered clothes in the sale and sent back 13 items that I didn’t like. After 2.5 weeks no refund. Phoned and they said if not received in another week to contact. After a week still no refund, Couldn’t get through on phone as very long waiting queue. Sent email and reply said refund was being processed. Now one month later and still no refund. Will never, ever buy anything from them again and am now looking at legal action to get my quite large sum of money back. For a well know company this is appalling”

“Appalling company! Sent a faulty item and then think that they can operate outside of consumer law. I would urge people to report to trading standards as that is the only way that we can prevent this from happening”

“Worst Customer Service I have ever come across I ordered an item and was under the impression that I wil get it the next day as was the past experience, but this time the parcel was quite delayed. I wrote to customer service on grounds of compassion to redirect my parcel as it will come late and I am travelling overseas. The customer service representatives attitude was soo rude an lousy, I just couldn't believe her attitude and unhelpfulness. I am truly truly shocked and disappointed at their response and no care attitude towards the customers. I didn't realise that you get free next day delivery on purchase of £85 and over and mine was £84. I told her that I wasnt aware and as a gesture of customer goodwill to redirect it. But she was soo rude and just wouldnt budge or offer any alternative or help although I told her I am traveeling overseas the next early morning. She has caused me too much stress. I Will never buy from them again”

“Returned two items of clothing and only one was scanned back into their warehouse. They are refusing to give me my refund and want my proof of postage. You have my parcel, you received it. Mysteriously my other item never made it back into their stock. No refund forthcoming. Never ordering from them again!”

“I'm absolutely fuming ordered a top from Roman originals not was not delivered on the date they said the item would be delivered stupid royal mail delivered my parcel to someone else's address and Roman originals are refusing to refund my order they want me to pre-order and send them a photo so that they can refund my money back to this is not acceptable . I'm contacting Amazon regarding this and I'm going to contact consumers rights if I get no joy from Amazon first. If Roman originals are really sorry about what's went wrong they should do the right thing and refund customers money back to them asap instead of having us constantly chasing them up.”

“First of all, it took six days for my order of one item to arrive. Poor compared to other retailers. Secondly, the cardigan looked tacky and was of poor quality with pulled threads and dropped stitches on one cuff. Looking at other reviews it seems I could be waiting a while for my refund.”

“Bought a dress and after wearing it once it bobbled and looked pulled at back . Contacted customer services who weren’t interested and said it wasn’t a manufacturers fault so not prepared to do anything . Not really acceptable for a new purchase .would be reluctant to purchase from them again .”
