I received two damaged dressing tables in succession - each with quality inspection stickers on them. I also got told the other item (chest of drawers) would be delayed due to a warehouse fire, so ended up with nothing for the time being. It's a shame as the customer service was prompt and polite. It worries me that a partial refund option is offered as routine for damaged goods - it must be quite common and part of the business model.

Furniture lovely, delivery shocking!!! Roseland Furniture please change your delivery service, it is letting you down immensely and I will think twice before ordering with yourselves if you use the same couriers (Tufnells & XPD). It took nearly four weeks for my (in stock) item to arrive. First driver did not even knock or leave a card even though we waited in day, I then arranged redelivery 2 days later only for them to return it to Roseland instead. Roseland released it to someone else so it then went out of stock. I requested a different courier firm and two weeks later delivery didn't even turn up, Another call to Roseland to chase delivery and it eventually turned up four days after that!!! Any saving I made on the furniture has probably been used up in countless telephone calls to Roseland and delivery companies. Extremely frustrating!! I would be pleased with my purchase but the shine has gone because of the complete shambles with delivery. I'm giving 2 stars because the furniture is as described but some staff were indifferent when I called, offering only a refund instead of a solution and only one lady was good enough to call me back with an update regarding delivery. If I were reviewing the courier services Id be looking for the minus section!!

The blanket box looks very nice but I am waiting for a replacement because it had a huge crack in it when it arrived and we removed all the packaging.

So i purchased a lovely wine rack for my son's christmas present. Upon receipt i noticed a large chip on the front of the draw (within the laminate) and messaged Roseland through the message portal. That was 2-weeks ago and nobody has yet has even returned my message! Consequently I'm not very happy. Hopefully someone within Roseland reads this message and gets back to me asap Mr Wood (Order No ROSELAND 158701)

Wrong item delivered not seen the correct item yet looking at a box in my living room. Emailed customer services who seem to send out one email a day max. Firstly they didn't believe the wrong item had been delivered even though I stated it had, and sent a photo of the box clearly displaying the product. On the fifth day they asked for more photos and then realised the error. Now I have to wait a further 6 to 8 working days for pick up and delivery. I still can't review the item hopefully it's better than service delivery and service recovery at Roseland.

Sadly my item was damaged when received! Returned and waiting for a refund, day 11 of 14 given as target. Communication with customer service good though

Purchased an oak sideboard which arrived quickly and well packed. However when we had got it unpacked and in situ we noticed a bad split on one of the doors which had been caused by a badly knotted piece of wood with the fault too close to the edge to remain intact. Also one of the side frames to the doors was badly marked with what Roseland Furniture referred to as medullary rays but were in fact smears of glue that hadn't been wiped off properly before the lacquer had been applied resulting in a different level of take up of the finish. I had to sand it back to bare wood and re-lacquer the piece to get it to look right. The item was made in Vietnam and wasn't well put together.

Had a blanket box delivered damaged so asked for a replacement to be sent out Which was done, was not notified of the collection of the damaged one a courier just arrived. Then the next day he returned with the new one also damaged with only 2 hours notice of arrival. Good job my wife was not at work on both occasions. Long wait to speak to a customer advisor with not a sorry in sight Babbled the company policy of £30 discount, replacement or a refund. Went for the refund only get one chance to correct a problem. Poor customer service!

although the furniture that they sell looks good quality it is manufactured abroad, and isn't that good quality we purchased some bedside drawers and they were O.K. So then we decided to purchase a small sideboard when it came it was damaged on the top corner, the doors didn't align properly,and the back was loose, when we complained we were given two options either send it back or we offer you a maximum of £35.00 refund which considering what we paid isn't really acceptable (there reply was it can easily be fixed,so that is all you are getting) would have loved to have ordered more but with attitudes like that why should we bother??

Goods arrived damaged. When I asked Roseland about this they offered a derisory £35 refund to keep the coffee table. They eventually settled with a refund of £100

Nobody manning the phones. Still waiting for the goods after almost a month even though I made sure all the products I ordered were in stock even compromising on alternative products due to the delivery time. Considering the high end prices being paid really expected more. Have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for almost a month now due to the non arrival of the bed. Would hesitate to use again

I ordered 4 pieces of furniture on the 25th September and one item was out of stock. I said that I was happy to wait for that item before receiving my order. The order was sent out on 29th October after I chased my order. One piece arrived 30th October, one piece 2nd November, one piece 4th November and I am still waiting for the last piece some 14 working days after I received the first piece. The delivery company say that they can only speak to Roseland Furniture. Roseland is quite hard to contact and I feel as if I'm being fobbed off and for that reason I would not recommend this company. Poor customer service.

We ordered a bookcase and a chest of drawers. Waited a long time for despatch although the items were shown in stock, after chasing Roseland they eventually said the chest of drawers had gone to the courier for delivery, but the bookcase could not be found in the wharehouse and we would have to wait for new stock to arrive (which I think was 10 - 12 weeks) We therefore cancelled both items and received a refund. We then ordered another bookcase and chest in a differrant design. They both arrived, the chext of drawers is fine and is a nice looking piece of furniture. The bookcase however was quite badly damaged. So we have had to re-package the bookcase (not an easy task) and we await deliverey/swap over of the item. The item is now out of stock!! so we have a very large package awaiting collection and still no-where to put our books.

Unfortunately, we ordered 2 pieces: received one incorrect piece and the second damaged. When we finally got through on the phone to someone they were great and I did say, had I not had to wait 20 minutes and send 2 other emails the outcome could have been different. I sent the goods back, which to be fair were collected the next day. But had they been easier to get hold of someone to talk to, I may have given them a second chance and organised the replacements. Shame.
