“This company has caused nothing but stress over the years! It is so outdated, slow and useless that i don't know why it isn't just shut down and let the couriers take over who are 100 times better! They have better delivery rates, better tracking from start to finish none of this we can onnly tell you where it is when it has been delivered rubbish! I would say about 75% of my parcels failed to be delivered and every single time i am in the house waiting for the thing!!! I actually pay people extra on ebay etc now NOT to use royal mail. Disgusting, greedy, lazy, outdated, joke of a company this is!”

“I bought an item from Amazon and it was a large package which cannot be delivered through the letterbox. Amazon gave me a timeframe that the item will arrive ON 29th May (not BY 29th, so I wasn’t expecting it any sooner. Yesterday (23rd) I heard knocks on the door but I live on 2nd floor, wasn’t in the right state to open the door and there is a tenant downstairs. I thought it’s for sure not for me. I am very strict to open myself for my items because the neighbour downstairs is not a decent man and he tears the packages out of curiosity and narcissism. Just now I saw an email that the item was delivered yesterday and rushed downstairs to find it torn and sniffed into. The item itself wasn’t damaged but the fact that someone with despicable behaviour does with you what they want is very unacceptable and humiliating!!! Royal Mail, if the item is for a female don’t give it to a male! If the item is for flat 2 don’t give it to person lives at flat 1!!! Tracking ID: 32038792300017073C93A. 😡”
“Not sure how Royal Mail is still in business! They are consistent at being bad, the latest debacle involved a 48 hour delivery time but will now be at least 120 hours due to the fact that they sent it the wrong distribution office. Its not even worth complaining because they never do anything about it.”
“I bought an item through eBay, it was a cute little rose bear in a box seller was fantastic dispatched the item the morning after purchase and was very complaint, however that was on the 30th of april it is now the 23rd of may and for the past 20 days my item is being shown at being at princess royal dc (I’m in Manchester) it is 4 hours away from me! It’s in London! And for 20 days now it shows that my item is with princess royal dc and should be deleivered to me today! And when I tried to claim late delivery in their website it kept crashing and won’t let me even claim late delivery now! So now I’m £20 out and my item is 4 hours away from me and honestly I don’t think they’ll deliver it at all! And now I can’t even get a refund or claim or anything because their website is too complicated and keeps crashing!! Have never had this problem with dhl or parcel force! I own my own business too and I am glad to say I will never post or recieve with Royal Mail ever again!”

“It would be helpful if people read all of the postal code my postal code is DY9 7DJ FOR 18 years most of my deliveries have been sent to DY9 0QS This has been very frustrating. At the moment 3 parcels have not arrived. Two are much needed medical supplies. It’s very upsetting to receive a text saying your item was delivered knowing it’s halfway across town.”
“Due to COVID there are currently zero deliveries from the local depo. The depot is only open for collection between 7am-9am (shut on Wednesdays and Sundays)... That's my plants dead.
Yodel, Fedex, DHL, Uncle Jim's Deliveries... everybody else manages to deliver the item, only the Royal Mail fails time after time.
Their excuse is always the same, "we have to deliver to every address in the UK" -- well what does that have to do with a London delivery? Sod all.”
“Today i tried to collect my package but when i arrived at leigh lancs sorting office i was told i was to late it had closed at 9 am and i was 40 mins to late but i saw a woman walking out with a parcel.
The bloke was sitting down doing nothing and i strugle to walk.
This happend on 22 may 2020.
The only reason i gave a star on the review is i cannot give a zero.
Also the reviews are not easily noticable.
Where is the customer service and compassion.

“The postman refuses to walk up the drive to the house to deliver a signed for delivery (my post box is at the end of the drive). He just leaves the 'Sorry we missed you' card. I have complained 3 times now and nothing happens, I used to think the Royal Mail Service, or should they be more fittingly named the Royal Fail Service was excellent and our old postie was brilliant but it just seems to be going down hill rapidly, I think because they have a monopoly on day to day post they have become complacent and lazy.”
“Terrible service from Royal Mail, been waiting since the 11th May for my items that have already been paid for Including a postage fee. The tracking number is not working on your website so unable to track my parcel. How does it take 10 days to get a parcel delivered locally. For such a huge establishment like Royal Mail you would not expect such pathetic and slow service.

I'm sorry but Royal snail are most definitely milking this situation for what its worth, if your item is not tracked you can Enjoy up to 2 weeks wait tracked a week more,
Looks like they are working on more important stuff i say if you a seller Move on to an alternative company for the moment until they get there act together!”

I have so many issues with pricing, insurance, confusing web site questions and unfeasibly late delivery times that i despair and dont want to write an essay listing it all. The only positive about the whole organisation are the posties who i find always pleasant and do the job as well as they are allowed, but the management stinks.”
