Terrible service and unreliable! flowers were not delivered for mothers day. I have requested a refund and now I am being ignored. Would not recommend.

I wish I could review this no stars. Absolutely abysmal. Mother’s Day ruined, flowers arrived to my mother 200 miles away from me. I would’ve been better off going to the nearest supermarket and sending the flowers in the post. Would have looked a lot better than what my mum received from this place. £35 for a couple of opened flowers and the rest completely closed up - just green twigs. This would be fine if it was said in description that flowers wouldn’t be sent as opened full buds.... Super upset. Want my money back. Will happily return the flowers in the post if nescessary.

My flowers never turned up. (They were meant to be delivered 5 days ago.) I’ve been lied to by customer service and now they are refusing to refund my money! Shocking. Will be lodging a complaint with my card company.

If you need to amend an order it seems it is almost impossible. Better to use a local flower shop to where you want to have the flowers delivered.

Not recommended – tracking & service levels very variable. All I wanted was flowers on my mother’s 87th birthday. I ordered 2 days in advance, I got notified that they were “out for delivery”, then that the delivery had “failed”. Since my mother never leaves the retirement home, I found it odd that the delivery could “fail”. There’s no number to call for any time-sensitive queries, but I must admit their email responses are rapid (although entirely useless). The response was the delivery was delayed due to “adverse weather”. Weather in the south that day was “Partly sunny with a slight breeze” (this was 4 days after the snow in the UK). Not beach weather, but surely someone in a van could manage. I responded and was told they would “check with their courier” but to “be patient as this can take 24-48 hours”. Well, that kind of defeats the point of making sure flowers were delivered that day, so I asked for a refund, so I could make alternate arrangements with a local florist. The response was “we are unable to arrange a refund” as they were “delivering in line with their terms and conditions related to the adverse weather” (you know – the partly sunny and breezy bit). The responses got more ridiculous after that, but here’s the warning for those of you considering this company: While perhaps there was a backlog due to previous adverse weather, if they knew that they should have it posted clearly as a potential problem as they continued to take orders despite very little chance of making an on-time delivery. If you get caught with weather, traffic, etc., you’re probably out of luck. If there is a problem with your delivery, actually finding out what is going on is unlikely as there seems to be no real link between this company and the couriers they outsource delivery to. The dispatch times they reviewed with me were on completely different days compared to the dispatch emails I received. In addition, saying that they’ll find out “24-48 hours later” is absolutely useless. Anyway, sad to miss an 87th birthday; frustrated to have to be on emails and wasting time finding out what’s going on; annoyed that there was absolutely no refund, credit or recompense. I would stick with local services if I were you.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my close friend's 50th birthday to be delivered on her actual birthday, and two days later she is still waiting! I will never use Serenata again, what shoddy poor service! I would never have booked with Serenata if I'd known they weren't going to deliver what they promised. My friend was so disappointed not to receive the flowers on her actual birthday.

Due to the recipient having an emergency which meant they would be out of the country for a week, I tried to rearrange the date of delivery for my flowers/Cake etc but was told this could not be done; nor were they willing to change delivery address. This led to flowers/cake etc being left outside the recipients house & being completely destroyed! Complete waste of money, plus the “customer service” was simply standard emails! Won’t be using them again!

These were funeral flowers. They arrived at the funeral directors in cellophane and looked like shop brought flowers. Very very disappointed

Dreadful amateur bouquet delivered to my Mum for her birthday. £39.99 worth of chrysanthemums plus one dying rose. So disappointed will not use again.

I accept that the weather impacted the delivery however the delivery was cancelled on three occasions despite the person receiving flowers from other suppliers over the period. Their communication was shocking. I only found out the flowers weren't delivered when I called the person to check she liked them. Nothing from Serenata to apologise for the delay or reschedule news. I advised them to cancel should they fail to deliver on the 3rd attempt as it was now over 5 days since the original delivery date. They advised I was unable to cancel as their T's and C's clearly stated delay's were acceptable if weather affected. Given that the weather warnings were removed a week ago and other deliveries were being made it was only fair I should have received a refund. I asked for a contact person to whom I could write a complaint and I am still waiting despite three requests. Obviously a company not particularly keen to receive feedback from their customers. I would avoid!

I'm told that their courier left the flowers in the front porch of a block of flats. The recipient never leaves her flat and her hearing is good. She never received the flowers. Serenata said that it's in their terms and conditions and their delivery email said "authorised" to leave in the front porch. Who would dream a courier would do this? I used to think Serenata was a good service, certainly the flowers were nice, but what is the point of using a service if the product never arrives? Bitterly disappointed that an old lady didn't get flowers on her birthday. Never again.

Just had call from funeral directors. Bouquet for my fathers funeral tomorrow have arrived totally trashed, flowers headless. Needless to say, no way to contact the company at this short notice by phone...numbers on delivery note and Directory enquiries do not ring out What to totally worthless company. I would recommend everyone to go elsewhere.

My order wasn't delivered and the only response I received was "delivery failed". I sent a message requesting why the delivery failed, since none was given. After 3 days I have still yet to receive a message explaining why the delivery failed. I guess they just wanted my money. I would NEVER advise anyone to use this service!!

Said they tried to deliver on Saturday but no one was in so posted a card. We was in all day and no card was posted. Contacting them was a nightmare as they have no telephone number it’s all done by email. Refused to cancel order and refund. Didn’t deliver again until Monday by which my mothers bday had been and gone and the flowers had wilted. Never ever again will I use this company!

Horrendous. My sister is still waiting for her 50th birthday bouquet and balloon. Was supposed to be delivered on 3rd March. 5th March today and she's still waiting. Flowers will be dead and balloon deflated. If they EVER arrive!!! Would NEVER recommend. Worst experience from any online business ever.

I sent my wife a dozen red roses for Valentines Day and they turned up in a box pretty much dead. My wife was so embarrassed she hid the flowers under her desk before any of her colleagues saw them. Not the sort of reaction i was hoping for!!!
