Dreadful customer service. Unreliable. If you're trying to get any form of refund, I wouldn't waste your time - called to cancel my taxi literally 1 minute after it was confirmed, and I was charged the full price of the journey.

Awful service, booked a taxi which was cancelled at last minute, leaving my two year old son and i stranded at the airport. Avoid at all costs.

I needed to cancel a booking within 24 hours for a requirement 10 weeks ahead. After many ignored emails I was charged 55% of the initial fee.

Would give less than one star if i could - booked two vehicles, one normal car for two girls and an eight seater from Parklife for midnight on the 10th June, despite ringing twice in the day to confirm everything was fine and them confirming "absolutely everything is fine, all confirmed" they canclled both vehicles 15 minutes before the due time, leaving them stranded for several hours during the night - not at all ideal especially for young girls on their own. Did Complain and they said "sorry for your experience" which was a total fob off, did not care, did not explain..... do NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they are not trustworthy at all.

Won't refund without 24 hrs notice. Even if cancelled 5 mins after making booking for following day.

I booked a car and on the,on line form it had a note for requirements , I put that I needed 2 child seats, they sent me a confirmation email ,confirming my booking , at no time did anyone tell me that I would not get the child seats, I found out 3 days before because I SENT AN EMAIL TO CONFIRM MY BOOKING AND THE CHILD SEATS,IT WAS THEN THAT I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD NOT BE GETTING THE SEATS, clearly they were leaving it till it was to late to do anything about it, so that I would lose the £124.50p that it cost me , I contacted the company and the person I was talking to agreed that the confirmation should not have been sent and I would receive a full refund, 15 minutes later they call me and someone else said I would only get 10% back because I cancelled late, again they should not have confirmed if they could not provide what I asked for. 20 minutes later they called again and said that they had found 2 child seats but I would have to pay £10 for each seat,I said not to this and they hung up, on the day I was going they called 1 hour before and said my cab will turn up , I asked if he had child seats in the cab ,but was told no, I said that I cannot have the car without the seats that they confirmed, he then said if you don't want it I would lose all my money. I DO FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN MUGGED, AND HAD £124.50P STOLEN FROM ME. THEY LET THE TIME RUN DOWN SO THEY CAN TAKE MONEY OFF YOU, CLEARLY YOU DO NOT VET YOUR CAB COMPANIES, TO SORT OUT THE BAD FROM THREE GOOD . PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, RAN A MILE FROM IT . I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE BASED IN THIS COUNTRY.AVOID

Unacceptable! I've hired a taxi from the airport to London city. while I was flying they cancelled the reservation and sent me an email (which of course I couldn't see until arrived). Then they offered to reimburse in 4-5 days... incredible how can they be so bad at customer service nowadays...

I booked a taxi using a website called London City Taxis' and saw a company called 'Executive Cars" doing a good deal. So I booked with a 10% deposit. It was only after booking I realised it came under 'Taxi code'. It was very sneaky of them. As I tried to avoid going with them after being ripped off previously. I kept checking the status of my booking and it kept saying 'unconfirmed'. I did not receive an email confirming. So I decided to cancel. As it was not confirmed it was ok as no driver had been booked. Then I see that they have taken money for the journey off my card!!!!! They NEVER respond to your emails. They are a TERRIBLE company. They have taken my money and done NOTHING for it. I strongly recommend that nobody uses this company. They should be investigated for trading standards. And this is what I have said to my credit card company and trying to get my money back.

Booked a Taxi 2 weeks in advance for a night out in Chester (Intent was to travel from Chester back to Wrexham). TAXICODE confirmed the booking with a Company called "MiniBus4U" and all seemed well. 1 week before the booking they emailed to say that the booking was cancelled due to no driver allocation and said to re-book with a different provider. So, I did, but somehow TAXICODE decided that the same company "MiniBus4U" was the provider once again. I located MiniBus4U via phone and even confirmed with them that they do not work for TAXICODE and definitely not in the Chester region. So I challenged TAXICODE saying that they are using a provider who will not even confirm a taxi. To which they responded with a Cookie cutter response of "We are just confirming the details of your driver with your provider, please wait a while longer". This was whilst I had a written confirmation that "MiniBus4U" did not work for them. Which they completely ignored, probably did not even open to see. Lo and behold, 4 hours before the booking was set to pick me up, the booking was cancelled. What a surprise! Luckily I had already preplanned another booking knowing that they would do this. Do not book with this company. They have horrendous customer service, and essentially lied to me over the phone and email about mt concerns of "MiniBus4U". Will never be using the company again. Just call a local taxi firm and they will do it 5x better than TAXICODE will. Would give 0 star is possible - company is 1 step away from being a downright scam.

If you want to avoid troubles and lose your money try to avoid this company. I had late flight to London and found this company as a good alternative to Uber with price choice to chose and driver meet you in airport no time waste. Sounds good but this company just unreliable broker with no knowledge and experience to handle problems and deliver want they promise. I received email from them in airplane One minute before take off and put mobile on flight mode. They informed me that my booking was cancelled as driver is not coming and offered another driver with rates instead £27 for short drive £45 and I should pay cash and possible even more if ride will take longer. Perfect service isn't it? I agreed as was too late to do anything with switched off phone. But it was first and last time I used this company. The choice is yours..

Would have rated zero if that had been possible. We booked a cab from Sussex to Heathrow for 21st April. We had a confirmation email with all my details correct. As I hadn't heard anything by lunch time on the 21st I contacted them. I was told they had messaged me that morning but I hadn't replied. They even sent me a copy of the message clearly showing the incorrect mobile number. They also said that as I had arranged a meet and greet at Harrow they would not be able to find a driver in time, so sorry and have a fantastic day! The details on my original booking were quite clear and correct. Harrow was never mentioned, we live in a village in Sussex and they had changed the last digit for my mobile number. An old trick when you don't actually want to contact someone! They were very reasonable and thank goodness I had chosen to pay the driver. I appreciate that a huge number of reviews were very poor ratings but there were some good ones so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. A very bad mistake. Worst service and customer service ever. Luckily we were able to get a lift and so did make our flight but no thanks to taxicode

Worst Service provider!!! Worst Service provider... While booking it shows 3 small/medium trolleys/suitcase and 4 handbags - after making payment, you get an email stating only 2 suitcase allowed, if you have more bags, upgrade and pay more!! Spoke to Customer service both the cab provided and Taxi code, was shocked on how they handled, I was pushed to upgrade or cancel and get 10% back!! - For whose mistake? they were not ready to accept that it shows 4 + 3 as luggage allowed, until I kept the service guy on hold and sent the screen shot and asked him to check - it took 40 min + of denial from Customer service and then they told we will refund full payment!!! DO NOT GO BY WHAT THEY SHOW YOU ON THEIR WEBSITE WHILE MAKING BOOKING!! I just hope to get my money back, never ever will book neither recommend anyone - Even after making payment, when I browsed again for same travel itinerary, the prices were lower than what I paid!!! I would rather pay a little more to an Uber or other trust worth cab providers.

SCAM I ended up calling Taxicode before I booked because I could not find the company that I was trying to book online (the cheapest one) anywhere. When I called, I was greeted by a man with an incomprehensible accent who simply told me that he would provide me with the contact details of the company after I had made my booking. At this point, I suspected that the company was not very legitimate so I told the man that no matter how many times he asks me, I am not prepared to put £500 into a company which he refuses to prove actually exists. Shortly after that, the man hung up on me. Avoid this company - the other reviews on here will tell you the same DONT RISK YOUR MONEY

Avoid this company, they accepted my booking & confirmed it. Then they emailed me at 4.30 am in the morning saying the booking was cancelled. I did not see this email until 10 mins before the taxi was due! Luckily I wasn't going to catch a flight & I managed to get an Uber which was over 30% cheaper & arrived quickly.

Upgrade offered as a Mercedes E-class to find out that Apex Cars Airport transport offered the same car as a standard package at GBP25 less. So where was the upgrade?? Got told if I cancel 24 hours in advance I will not receive a refund. Will never use them again

Do not use this company!! They are scammers! I booked for my family of 6 and paid a deposit. Following which l received an email saying the van I booked wouldn't fit us although on the site it showed the exact luggage and number of people that we were. They said I had to pay more which I eventually agreed to. Without asking me they took the extra funds from my account. Following which they cancelled my booking and refused to refund me both the deposit and the extra I had paid. Their customer care is inconsistent and not helpful. Just don't go there!!!

Terrible company. I received a Booking confirmation but the driver never arrived. Tried to call him, he hung up the phone and texted he isn’t coming. Money taken from my account.

This company has stolen money from my credit card : after I cancelled one half of the booking (didn’t want pick up but wanted to keep the drop back) they said I couldn’t do that and I’d only get a few percent of my deposit back but I’ve just discovered a card I had given them 3 months ago has been used to steal nearly £60 from my account. Absolute crooks. **DO NOT USE THEM AND REPORT TO POLICE IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED **
