It’s a total rip off! They take they will charge you 90pc of the fare if you cancel!! Please read the T&C’s!!! 7. CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS AND REFUNDS “If you cancel your booking between 2 days to 10 days prior to the Journey date in your Booking, you will be entitled to a refund equivalent to 10% of the value of your booking. “

I never write reviews but I was so upset with the service I just have to. I booked a taxi with this company. I thought the booking process was brilliant. This is until the driver turns up with a boot filled with his own items. This meant we had to start our holiday with all our hard suitcases weighing 15-23kg on us for a 1-hour drive. Secondly, the driver drove very dangerously and clearly did not have enough sleep. I paid over £100 for the journey. I clearly explained this to the company and they replied by ignoring my issues and saying that it was my fault for the size of my bags. I explicitly said in the form and in the extra notes part of the form how big the bags were.. and they arrive with a full boot. All they offered was a £5 refund. they even ignored the fact we nearly crashed .. TWICE (clearly driver been driving for too long). Awful organization and even worse customer feedback and care. For your safety do not go with this company.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star we were due to be picked up from a rural location at 11.30 pm only to have our taxi cancelled at 10.20 pm via email!!!!! Which would never had seen only for the fact we waited for our taxi to arrive and it didn’t !!!! When my partner phoned to explain we where in the middle of nowhere with no transport links their attitude was very much tough, then had the cheek to send an email offering a £5 discount next time!!! Guess what, there won’t be a next time EVER and I’ll be telling anyone who will listen not to use them unless you want a very very long walk home !!!!!!!!

Beware! I booked a journey for my parents which I then had to cancel. Their customer service number wasn't working so I emailed the request and phoned the other advertised number on the booking form. Despite the cancellation being confirmed on the phone and by email, I was charged the full amount. The operator who cancelled by journey did not communicate with me that they cannot process the cancellation, in fact they did, and did not communicate the cancellation with whoever they needed to. Now I find out that this operator is from the taxi supplier company called Go Cars Luton. Very disingenuous from both companies. Firstly, Taxicode's customer number should have been working and secondly they should have a better handle on the suppliers they recommend as 5 stars on their website. Go Cars Luton should not have cancelled my journey if they didn't have power to do so.

Avoid this company. I booked a taxi and they rebooked it with Uber. I was late arriving and was charged 64 pounds. Booked my own Uber and paid 48. Rip off.

Avoid! Non refundable fare if cancelled, driver was late to pickup and didn't apologized, taxi was booked 11 hours in advance, you would expect it to be on time or even early, unacceptable service! Read the T&C, they don't take any responsibility.

Disgraceful. Be very careful as you enter the booking details. One honest and accidental mistake and there is no sympathy. You will be charged full whack. In this day and age, in competition with companies like Uber, this business is not required. Book with anyone else but this company. Trust me.

This company left me stranded at Glasgow airport. They sent me an email day of pick up to say they under quoted and cancelled the order. Do not use them.

Shocking business and customer service is non-existant! Taxi booekd for 3.45pm, the driver called at 3.27pm to say he was outside and I had to come now. I left my meeting early. He wasn't outside so I called several times over the next 10 minutes and he kept saying he was nearby and looking for me. He lied when he said he was originally there. After waiting nearly 15 minutes not knwing of he ever was going to turn up, I gave up and booked an Uber. The wait for an Uber was 8 minutes. As I was leaving in my Uber car the taxi from this company turned up. I emailed to tell them the sitaution and they weren't interested and charged me £37 for a journeyI didn't take and for a driver that lied. I asked for vehicle tracking and they said they don't ahve it which I don't believe. Customer service has been terrible, they have only answered occasional emails and are refusing a refund. I wont leave it until I have a refund, it's not the amount of money it's the principal.

If you're an operator stay well clear of this lot! They just take money out of your account if you have to cancel a job! You'll be bankrupt in no time with these lot! Had to cancel a booking and they took £159.99 out of my account! They simply passed it on to someone else and the customer never lost any money but they made an easy £159.99! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I booked a taxi from my home to Heathrow airport. On that day, I have received 3 calls from the driver and he advised me his CAR HAS DEVELOPED A NOISE. I can clearly hear a loud noise through the phone while he is driving and the driver asked me if I still wants to travel. As there is a flight to catch and it is VERY RISKY to travel for an hour with the weird loud noise. I have called the taxi company to ask them if they can send me another taxi. They said it will takes another hour for it to come. I have left with no choice but to cancel it and luckily I can get another taxi from a local company. Contacted taxicode.com and they REFUSE to send me a REFUND. The reason is the taxi was cancelled on the same day even the car is not safe to travel! WILL NOT USE AGAIN. THIS COMPANY DO NOT CARE AND WILL MAKE YOU TRAVEL EVEN THE CAR IS NOT SAFE.

Cancellation/refund policy is a rip-off. Here is the crux of what's buried in Section 7.1 of their Terms & Conditions: --Cancel more than 30 days prior, refund = 55%. --Cancel 11 to 30 days prior, refund = 25%. --Cancel 2 to 10 days prior, refund = 10% --Cancel same day or the day before, refund = 0%. Funny how this important information is not made clear when booking. For me, RIP-OFF is spelled T-A-X-I-C-O-D-E.

I pre-booked this company to pick me up after a funeral in the outskirts of Birmingham. As I booked via my work email, it was only when the taxi failed to arrive did I call work to find out that Taxicode had sent me a cancellation at 2am! Prior to realising the taxi was cancelled, I tried to call the driver to find out Taxicode had given me an incorrect unobtainable number. When I left a review on Trustpilot, Taxicode reported it but I was able to have it reinstated. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would have cancelled but I didn't see the T&Cs until after I had booked and I would have lost 90% of my pre-paid fee! Uber rescued me. Use reputable firms, not this one.

My taxi never arrived. After having traveled on planes for 13 hours, I was looking forward to being picked up at Heathrow and to be taken to my home on the other side of the city. I booked the car a few days before and received a booking confirmation but when I arrived no driver was there. Instead, I had a voicemail saying that my driver could not make it and I need to make alternative arrangements. The journey by car would have taken about 1 hour whilst my actual journey on London underground took nearly 3 hours - during morning rush-hour with a massive suitcase. Still waiting for my refund. A few days later, I received an email from Taxicode to ask "How did we do" so I answered and left my review on Trustpilot. Clearly, Taxicode was only interested in positive reviews and reported my review to Trustpilot and asked for it to be removed. I also noticed that on many review responses Taxicode writes "We would never be late or cancel as we are not the operator, we are only the booking agent" what an attitude...guess what, I do not care...you make money on each booking and you link to these taxi companies which you clearly have not validated or checked for their quality of services. I will definitely not use Taxicode again.

The driver was not in the place where he was suppose to be we wait for him and told him what to do and where to go. We where at the cruise terminal and he was waiting for us at the gargo terminal
