“I have been billed incorrectly for the 3rd month in a row. I have been calling them after every incorrect statement that I got and get an apology and an empty promise that a credit will be given to me. This month I got fed up and asked the agent to give me contact details for a manager I have emailed him 3 times already and to date no response on my emails. yesterday i received an sms not even on my primary number that a credit for R161 will be given on my next statement I mean come on are they serious I added up how much they overcharged me for the 3 months and it amounts to R564.54 and they think a R161 credit is sufficient. No I am seriously disgusted with telkom I have been a good paying customer for many years now and this kinda service that I am getting from them is disgusting and unacceptable”

“The worst service I have ever received. I was told that I don't understand how a contract works. You get told to call back on a certain date to give notice to cancel, you do so and then they debit you every month after cancelation because you gave early notice. I would really like to know how Telkom operates and how they are still able to run a business when they treat their customers in a such a pathetic manner”
“Regarding my open serve WiFi....started with an uncapped package of R299.....last year....was sold a lie....just to accept the offer with a choice of a month to month payment and not a contract....accepted it....then beginning of this year Telkom had an increase ....from R299 to R315....without notifying me ....so I paid R299.....missed one month....August....this year....spoke to Agents ....at Telkom...today...was told I'm in arrears of R515.42....and on top of that get a message that I have been handed over to Blake and Associates for being in arrears of R318.....so basically I'm in arrears coz I got no statements from Telkom....and to top it off ....this is news to me they charge R260 for re-connection fees....where I was told it's R50.....
Telkom is quick to add additional charges without my knowledge....no phone call or statements to keep me up to date....I'm very disappointed and the Agents are rude and short with me when I call ...or ask to speak to their manager ๐๐๐๐๐๐”

Secondly they violate their own terms and conditions because they don't have clauses that protect customers really. “I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Telkom agents. I signed a contract for R209 per month, but my second bill showed an unexpected increase to R700. Upon inquiry, I was told that airtime and additional services were included without my consent. It appears the agent prioritized commission over transparency.
I've attempted to contact Telkom via WhatsApp to rectify the issue and cancel the unnecessary additions, but they're ignoring my messages. In contrast, they were highly responsive during the sales process.”
