Telkom Incorrect Billing due to WASP subscription I notices that i was incorrectly billed for month of July and i made contact with Telkom to query what transpired. The agent advised me to go through to my nearest .I made contact again and i was advised that i was subscribed for WASP content.i surprised as i had taken up the 40 G day and night month to month contract. I was given a USSD number.I dailed the number only to find out that i wasn't subscribed to any WASP content. In August i noticed that i was incorrectly billed again. I made contact with Telkom again whereby i was advised that i was subscribed for WASP content . The agent advised me to check my statement to my surprise i was billed for July for WASP content which went off on ridiculous early hours in the morning. I received my September statement billing date 1 September 2024 to 31st September 2024 on the 7the of September 2024.1+1 is not adding up how can i be prebilled for the month of September already when we only are only entered the 2 week of the month.Telkom is unable to advise me what WASP am i subscribed to , when i subscribed to it and when dialing the USSD it clearly states I'm not subscribed to anything. I need my account to be rectified ASAP orbi am going to take this matter to the Ombudsman. I have not subscribed to any WASP content.

I took out a new contract which came with an additional free phone. It is now 3 weeks and heard nothing. The stores are absolutely useless with customer care unable to help sort out queries other than doing new business and not giving the correct details in case a sale not made.enquiring via telephone a nightmare going from depot to department get your act together to benifit the people who keep your doors open too

I curse the day I took another contract with telkom. Journey of headache & hell. Their call center line providee on the statement of account can't even transfer you to an agent to assist accordingly. To think iv been with this service provider since 2020 very disappointed shame.

The most useless and pathetic customer service. Improve your business for current customers instead of hounding them on a daily basis for extra business to upgrade their contracts. You’re very quick to make a nuisance out of yourselves several times throughout the day, but the moment you’re actually required for assistance then you drop off the face of this earth and leave minimal options for a customer to get through to you. If I could leave a negative review for your terrible customer service I would.

I absolutely hate telkom, they are good in sales but assistance and helpfulness not so much.Talk about billing and updating even more horrible.May we never cross paths again.

The most annoying service provider ever!!!! By end of June they couldn't debit from my account because, I reported for fraud. I took the means of calling them to inform them. I even paid through EFT. And mind you they always claim that their calls are being recorded. So after fixing my bank account the following month I was already on earners. I don't know how and I kept receiving the messages that my account has been frozen. Instead of paying R970. I've been debited R1500 this month I've been debited R2000. Then I had to top it up with R990. So I kept on calling them to no luck of knowing why I had to pay so much. Until one of their consulted told me that my account has been handed over to the collector. And if I didn't call them I was still going tobe in the dark. To this day my account is still on arrears. This is my 4th contract with them and I've never gave them a problem when it comes to paying for my contracts. They've always been up to date. Until this encounter that I came across with this contract. I regret from taking another contract with them. Only if I knew this is how. They treat their customers. I wasn't gonna sign up another contract with them. But the thing is I use to rate then high. Little did I know I was gonna go through this.....

I lost my phone. Telkom can't help me get the ITC number, I'm struggling to claim the phone insurance all because of telkom. When I ask them to write e an email to present it to the insurance they refuse to help me with that too. Never will I use telkom network again. I'm so disappointed.

Ive had no internet connectivity since the router was delivered. I have made several calls, sent emails requesting that Telkom sends a technician to sort the issue out, still nothing. The next thing they send me a bill 😭😭 for what….

I am dissapointed with telkom service. Agremment was for them to deduct on 25 R 539 and they decided to deduct on the 31 +/- R850. Disconnected their service and on the 17th July but the account was paid till today im dataless. Bein calling since then but no positive out come. Keep getting emails from their lawyers but I have paid. I regret taking contract with Telkom shame.

Telkom is the slowest network ive ever used, yes they have affordable deals but their network is slow.... I opened buy trades in my trading account and my network was lost it recovered after a whole hour and my account was blown

If it was possible to give a rating with zero stars, I would. Fibre coverage is erratic and unreliable. Slow internet speeds regardless of what option you took for your contract. The contract price is unilaterally increased by Telkom every few months. The call center is useless and keeps redirecting you to other departments until you give up out of frustration. They also make it impossible for you to give notice of termination or cancelation after the fixed contract period ends.

The billing system is wrong they double charged me then I decided not to pay the following month so they suspended my contract before even the month end but this month they double charged again and they haven't open my account they says it was collected by debtors as if I have been not paying for months 🙄😡

Absolutely horrific customer service! On Sunday my dads device was stolen, he visited the branch to ensure the device is blacklisted and to perform a sim swop, the first consultant was not helpful at all however the second helped with the swop. The device was still not blacklisted at this point and i found this via the find my device feature on monday as there was another simcard in the phone. My dad frantic had then obviously needed to sort out important information such as banking apps etc. I live in a different province and was doing all i could to help him, i then called the customer care line and asked them to blacklist the phone as we feared for the information which was on the phone! and they were of absolutely zero assistance, there is more admin to blacklist a device then there is to take a new contract. i had emailed telkom and to date have not received a response. The customer care is absolutely horrid, they are quick to call you for upgrades but display no qualities of ethics or humanity. In this situation there is already so much of stress especially because in the current world we store majority of our lives on the devices so you are quit stressed about all the information on your device already and then you do the normal thing of visiting the branch and absolutely nothing is done, the customer care will tell you to call them, how is this possible if your device is stolen ? they also say you can blacklist the device yourself ! If this was the case do you think anyone would be running around ? The experience was absolutely horrible and it is evident that telkom does not care about their customers and only cares about their own revenue once the device is collected forget about getting any assistance ! Whats even more concerning is that they have not even bothered to reach out yet if i go to apply for a contract i will get an immediate call ? Quite dissappointing considering we have had numerous contracts with telkom for many years!

Telkom's internet service, advertised with an initial speed of 10MB/s for the first 250GB, 4MB/s for the subsequent 50GB, and a consistent 2MB/s thereafter, falls short of its promises. In practice, the initial 10MB/s is only delivering about 1.5Mb/s, the 4MB/s tier peaks at merely 500kb/s, and the supposed uncapped 2MB/s struggles to maintain 300kb/s at best. This significant discrepancy between advertised and actual performance undermines user trust and suggests a need for urgent technical review and service transparency.
