“I did apply for a LTE Router with George at Telkom i had the best service ever so i have waited 2weeks and still don't receive my Router so i start to sending emails out and a gentleman with the name Sam got back to me....
And at the end i got a new Router and its working 100% and i have very good signal...

“Telkom LTE is down or something is wrong with their network. It keeps switching to some "655" network then I have no wifi signal. This has been going on for days now. Telkom is a terrible, useless ISP. It is taking me 30min to an hour to send emails and I work from home. Telkom and Eskom ruining lives one day at a time.”

“Worst customer care service that we've ever dealt with. They steal your money, double debit you, don't care if you made payments, blocks off our phones and wifi once a month for the last 6 months. The staff over the phone just end our calls and never get back to us. Cannot wait until our contract ends and they will never hear from us again.”
“I missed two payments, I paid on the 8th of June then again on the 30th of June. After I paid I received a statement with the amounts I paid on the 8th and the 30th. Then my account was debit and they took R200 extra. I was told that the money bounced which it never did there was only money going out of my account and not back into it. On July’s statement payments reflected but instead Ed of the amount going down it went up…. None of it makes sense. I received emails stating that my issue had been resolved by one of their agents which it never was! I definitely would not recommend telkom.”
“Telkom renders the most terrible service ever, full of incompetent staff who is not able to resolve any issue instead they rather keep on dropping the calls on you after you explained your issue for so many minutes.
Asking to speak to a manager they will keep on saying they sent an email to the manager to open the line to get the call, you will wait forever and they just drop the call.
After paying from January until now Telkom suspended my wifi, with all invoices i have was told it will take 7days to investigate, I cant do without internet then I decided to repay whatever is outstanding now i have to wait 72 hrs what nonsense. DO NOT USE TELKOM RATHER GO SOMEWHERE ELSE”
“Very bad experience. I paid for something I never used they still want more money. I subsribed for a router only to find no network coverage. They took the router back still they want money. I wonder may be Telkom doesn't get any customers that's why they are sucking us dry. While they said they are processing my cancellation they debited for five consecutive months .Different agents call with different vlaims. After I paid R820, one called saying I owe R806 and she failed to explain what for. I asked to speak to the supervisor she said she will call the next day and let me speak to him .She never called.
If you need network never I mean never choose Telkom .They are bloidy crooks.”

“My account has been suspended without my knowledge, requested to change account to a top up , went to the store i was not assisted consultant gave me a turn around time of 24hrs also advised if i pay the minimum amount my account will be clear to do a sim swop i did a payment and now account still suspended, when i call the customer care i always get a recording saying they will send me self service message to log a query. The service is horrible i must say i want to cancel my account with Telkom its so pathetic.”
“Telkom internet is just a bunch of bull shit. They get people to sign contracts for 2/3 years and give pathetic service. After not getting what has been offered, you are now bound in the contact and they seem to not give a shit.
I had to pay for internet not being used for 3 months because of Telkom bull shit. We had moved premises and initially we were assured that moving the Fibre line would be free of charge, provided we had Fibre in the area.
After 3 months of back and forth arguments, they finally decide to assist. No compensation or discount.
Telkom Fibre especially is straight kak. Always issues with down time.
If there were an option to rate Telkom negatively, I would definitely put it on a negative 5.
The Fibre line is shit, as well as the customer service.
My opinion, do not get Telkom fibre/internet, it will be the biggest regret of your life.
Telkom should stick to landlines and nothing more.”
“Telkom places you under contracts without your knowledge. When you request for the call recordings to prove your case they come with lost of stories. RECORD ALL YOUR CALLS with telkom because what they tell you on the phone and claim later is two different things”
“I have a worst experience with the telkom insurance (admin plus) telkom canceled my insurance accounts due to non payment of a single month but it was later debited with two month in front but still my insurance was canceled, telkom has scammed me my money now they are sending me from pillar to post about reinstating minsurance or refunding me. Telkom scammed by using insurance, one of the telkom agent kept on making mediocre comments that telkom is not a bank”
“Telkom is the worst mobile company on the planet. They are stealing your money and refuse to even listen or do anything about it. I will be ending all services with Telkom.
I am now almost weekly subscribed to value-added services. Services that ad R3pd to your Telkom account. This is without me doing anything to request or confirm that I want or need these services. I am in IT and know exactly what is going on, on my mobile phone. This is not by mistake or user error it is plain and simple theft.
I will now see what options I have to accuse them in court.
I will use Vodacom in future, because at least on a Vodacom account there is a setting to block all VAS services from your account.”
