“There was a certain phone I wanted at Telkom Mall Of Africa. The phone was under a black friday special. But due to lack of stock in store, the Sales Consultant said he will call me once the stock has arrived. I filled up a contract application form and sent the right documents which he said it will do. I waited for a whole month with no feedback from the store. Once I started to ask questions on the Customer Service email, the Sales Consultant calls after I have complained and told me that I won't get the phone because of a wrong document which he said is fine. I was patient for so long and I waited just to get a rejection on my application. Now I can't get the phone I wanted just because of an employee who gave me false promises. So unhappy of the service.”
“Telkom it's a scam I fully met my contractual obligation with them,and after successfully cancelling my contract telkom sends my account to debt collections when I asked them they said I owe them.
Note that I don't get any Data or free minutes from telkom so how do I owe them? So a contract can be canceled while owing? Telkom it's trash period”

“Telkom is stealing disability and pension fund from old age people after I did paid R699 last week for 20 MB uncapped 24/7 WiFi for 30 days every time the WiFi does go off and off line it does send you a sms and say data bundle duplicate or out of data when you do call back and want to know what is going on because I did pay for 30 day of WiFi for R699 an it's not have been a week so Telkom want to tell me my R699 uncup data for 30 day in week is up and if you do phone them they are making you are a dumb and a liar on the phone and everytime you do buy the uncapped you do get a sms on what date you did buy and it's 5 day's Now so Telkom does not want to answer me and can't explain to me where and what is wrong all they do say it's your phone or your service settings is out off order so why for 5 days I have been using the WiFi uncapped dada and now after 5 day's it say data bundle duepleted so when I do ask for my R699 back that I can pay MTN or Cell what is a reliable network that won't steal disability money and cut the WiFi and Telkom agents that make you dumb and refusing to refund the whole R699 becues I'm paying for a service what I'm not getting from Telkom SA and last month there tower whas offline for 2 weeks and I did pay last month R699 for WiFi uncapped so for the 2 weeks they where offline Telkom do say it's not there problem I'm losing 2 weeks of WiFi and my money so I do want all the south Africa to stand together and let's take on Telkom SA that steal disability and old age pension fund each month for paying for a service what you are not getting and refusing to refund back or Carrie at least the 2 weeks over for this month but still they are not refunding or paying back so let's stand together that we can stop big malti million company of steal customer money and refusing to pay back”

“I would start by saying, telkom is no longer my preferred network provider. They suspended my phone and when visiting their brunch in Savanah Mall Polokwane I was told that my account is in order and I could not even call their customer care since my phone is suspended, They used their sim card on my phone to call their customer care or Billing department and I was told that I owe telkom R188.00 which they are unable explain. The lady told me that I must just pay it in order for my phone to be reconnected.
I feel scammed by telkom
I will not recommend it to any one even my enemies.
All my family members on telkom I will advise them to switch to other network.”
“tekom 'created' a second account for me after i migrated to a new package. they have been debiting my account with the unauthorised 'contract' since august. they acknowled via e mail that this account was created in error. i,ve made 24 phonecalls and everytime i have to jump through the usual hoops. i,ve now had enough. this same debit order has been raised against my bank account again payable end nov.
i will return this and if they dare to blacklist i shall sue them for defamation and emotional stress.

“These people told us that fibre wasn't available in our area and that they would install copper wires temporarily so we could have wifi for the time being. I found this weird because the use of copper wires was being discontinued by Telkom, but I thought they knew more than me considering they work there and I trusted them.
They never came. They never said anything either. 2 Months passed and we go to a Telkom store to hear that everything was cancelled because of copper wires being discontinued. Wow... They never had the decency to contact us either. We were without internet, waiting for them to come for months.
We're with Vodacom now😜”
