been with aa for over 30 years evey year have to ring up to get a deal nearer new cust deal this time it was 110.00 more than new cust enough is enough no value been loyal cust cancelled and will go elsewhere when will they lean

read well the T&C as once you have taken up a cover, you can't cancel it and get a refund (like you do with all Insurances). You only have 14 days from signing up. That could not be right. Please ditch this unfair practice. Thanks

Insisted that l have automatic renewal- which l did not want! Did not advise me that European cover would be exta - in the event this cost a further £37 for 7 days in France. Did also adopt breakdown cover as a new customer for £19 ( UK only) which l will place elsewhere next year since l can obtain it cheaper than their full price cost price of £60.

called A.A. out to a flat battery at home on a Wednesday morning. Very pleasant guy came, did his tests and said battery was done. he had a battery he could fit there and then which was £144. given the alternative of going to buy one in a car with a duff battery i told him to fit it. later that day i searched the net for the battery which came in as low as £55 but averaged £75. at this point i looked on the A.A web site and found that if i rang and ordered one it would cost £120 delivered and fitted. i spent 18 minutes on the phone without speaking to anyone and gave up and sent an email. the only real issue i could complain about is the £24 difference. after a month i got the scripted response every one does ending "This is the final response to your complaint, and we won' t be changing our decision, but if you do want to discuss your complaint please contact us directly" I wont be using the A.A again. P,S 2 days later, Friday night, driving home with a glowing battery light. got home and couldn't restart the car. called the A.A another pleasant guy came out and diagnosed the alternator was faulty. feel free to draw your own conclusion. i didn't bother to contact the A.A as i had read similar experiences reviewed and was expecting this outcome

I've had multiple call outs Web the AA over 5 years of membership, the service guys have been good and friendly. But the wait for them to arrive is consistently 2-5 hrs. At to the fact when I went to cancel my membership one month in to a renewal cycle no refund was given and they kept £140 for a service no longer needed.they are also expensive. On the basis of their policies and poor customer service ican only give them one star

Worst customer service I have ever seen in any company, was kept on hold for 1 hour and had the advisor answer the phone say he couldn't hear me, I said can you hear me know to which he replied nope and put the phone down on me. Other operators were useless, couldn't care less, obviously undertrained and very rude. Very unprofessional. Avoid this company like the plague !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I did have cause to claim after an accident earlier this year. The AA were fantastic in every way from recovery of myself and my vehicle from the scene and although my vehicle was written off my claim was dealt with very quickly and I was back in the road within two weeks. Can’t praise them enough.

They turned up when they said and were polite and in control with plenty of customer contact! Then they sorted my flat tyre out and led me to a tyre repairer and job done!

Excellent friendly service, changes to policy dealt with quickly and efficiently and paper work arrived promptly. Policy was very competitive and provided everything I required. Would definitely renew with them again.

Just had a flat tyre on the way home. The AA app made it very quick and easy to report the problem by selecting a few simple options. It knew my position so I didn't need even to speak to anyone. The repair van arrived in 10 minutes and the wheel was quickly and efficiently changed. I couldn't ask for better service.

"I have been a gold member with AA for 18 years and they lost a panel in my Car. I contacted them as soon as i realised the part was not put back. The department i spoke to then proceeded to tell me I was a liar as they had spoken to the member of staff who said he had put the panel back. I stressed to them that I would not lie about a small plastic panel and also informed them that their staff who came to assess the vehicle did so at night and could have left it in his vehicle. Regardless, it has been 10 weeks with no resolution... I find it shocking that they do not value my loyalty or calculate the 18 years of membership i have paid and pay the £97 to replace the panel their staff lost. I will never recommend AA and will be canceling all the memberships I and my family hold with them. I would urge anyone considering to sign up with them to AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Shocking service. Waited 3 hours for mechanic to come. Said car was fixed. Broke down 5 miles further on with same problem on and waited another two and a half hours.
