Had an irish car insurance policy. Worst customer experience I have ever encountered. This company makes it impossible for you to cancel your policy, stay clear at all costs their prices aren't competitive and their customer care is SHOCKING!!! - expect a minimum of 15 mins hold time should you have a query and don't ever expect a call back. They really really don't care about their customers all they want is your euros!!! Avoid!!!!

No problems although luckily I've never had to make a claim so far with the AA.

Twice now I've had to contact the AA. And on neither occasion have they been any help whatsoever. There is a lot of small print in their cover and they always seem to find a reason why they cannot help. I'll be cancelling my membership as it's more like a donation than paying for any kind of service.

Always helpful on the telephone and efficient when needed for a clsim. however it is annoying when each year the premium goes up massively and it is only when you confront them that it is reduced considerably. Why don't the give you the lowest quote in the first instance - most annoying and time consuming.

I just took out a commercial policy online and later speaking to an AA advisor been advised to take out private policy instead and they give a refund. three months later still waiting !!!

AA are fantastic Have both cars and house Insrance with them Plus AA breakdown cover. Would highly recommend to others

3 hours for a puncture, had time to buy a new tyre, when they turned up they couldn't fit it despite call centre specifically confirming they could do so. They ended up calling a local service who were there in 30 mins which I was made to pay for. Total fiasco.

They are exactly the same as everyone else. They lure you in with a competitive quote then after the first year it shoots up. You shop around and tell them you have a better quote for the same cover. They then cut their quote to try and keep your business. No! is the answer, you should have given me that quote in the first place. Don't worry though, my new company did the same the next year. Back you go to the original company 'til next year. They should all give you the cheapest quote in the first instance, not try it on.

Needed to change policy part way through and needed to have two cars insured for a short time. Operator gave excellent and informative advice and made the process so easy and went out of way to give advice and work around issues we had. Excellent service.

Can't recommend the AA enough superb customer service , excellent breakdown service when you need them doing every thing to get you back on the road as quickly as possible, and if it's within your budget I personally wouldn't be without break down service parts and cover, outstanding value for money, and take a close look at the AA car insurance great value to .
