Estimated quite via email for motor insurance bearing in mind the aa had all the relevant information, £385. I ring up confirm all the information held for me and hey presto the quote is actually £792! What a joke and a complete drain of 20 minutes out of my day! Never again! 😩

They asked me to provide a lot of documents. It is the first time that I need to send all those papers to get an Insurance.

Excellent insurance on paper - not claimed which is perhaps important if you need it. However ideal for basic insurance as meets the legal requirements plus a bit more @ a reasonable price.

ont waste your money! Life Draining service to say the least first and foremost i urge anyone who is considering AA home insurance to pay a little extra and use a more reliable honest and understanding firm. Have home and contents insurance with AA who have supposedly brokered it to another company which is fine however do you not do due diligence on any of these rogue firms, trident claims is an absoloute shack of a company and from the onset it has become the most difficult endevour of my life. I am a pensioner and you are making my life utterly miserable. We had a leak in our home and firstly tried to call them but the offices were closed circa 10 days ago, since then i have been messed around firstly we had a long list of questions and i was asked five times if i wanted to make a claim like it was some sort of crime to claim on your home insurance, every reply i gave was replied with an element of doubt. Then i was told i had died some years ago which is alarming when i am on the phone he was adamant that his checks showed i passed away twenty years ago, then he said i had a CCJ against my name, i have immaculate credit and was startled pre bank holiday so he fobbed me off sayign someone would call me back How can i have a CCJ 18 years after i had supposedly passed away its almost like they were making it up as they go along, all we wanted is for someone to come fix our ceiling! Having done several credit checks etc it transpires there is no CCJ or any record of one being open or closed in the last 35 years against me so that was a complete lie, they keep telling me that its with some team doing validation checks! What checks are you doing exactly, they just bluffing and buying time so they dont have to send an engineer out or pay out against the claim, shame on the AA board members i would name them but is easy to find online, your running the biggest sham company in the UK, take your money provide no service dont pay out. Dont buy any form of insurance from AA because you will never get any recompense. Further to my last contact 2 months on and 2 investigators later we are still interviewing family members regarding a little leak in our bathroom, how absurd and shameful can a company be how can this organisation even be allowed to trade? You have been warned AA is more like DD Diabolical and disgraceful

Either they are intent on extorting money from customers in emergency situations or they are just merely incompetent. I signed up for their membership when my car had broken down and because it could not be repaired, I was then told to upgrade in order to be towed home, which I happily did. However, I was surprised about 5 months after when I was told to upgrade again in order to be towed home which would have required paying an additional £50 after paying an earlier charge of £50 to upgrade. Their service was appalling on my third occasion and after an initial wait of 3 hours, I was to wait another 4 to 5 hours to be towed home. A very poor rating does not go far enough and such, I am cancelling immediately. I believe that their size and dominance in the market is what makes them treat customers in such ghastly way. It might help reducing their size, getting other competitors into their industry and imposing fines on them when their services do not meet a decent standard. I am blacklisting them, meaning that I would pay more to ensure that, I never take up their membership again.

Absolutely shocking service from the AA! I would not recommend them to anyone and if I could leave 0 stars which they deserve i would have. I pay extra for AA garage cover and have never made a claim and they have messed me about from start to finishe Trying everything the could to not pay for the repairs it’s now two weeks without a car two weeks I’ve lost money and I’m now having to pay to cover the cost absolute waste of time I will be joining the RAC again I wouldn’t touch this company with a barge pole they are crooks plain and simple.

I have to say the AA were extremely helpful . I had my rear windscreen broken in a random act of violence , the AA were very good at getting it sorted

Have been an AA member for 43 years having breakdown cover. I thought I would give motor insurance a try, worst thing i ever did, they were not prepared to make one phone call to my existing company to prove NCD, so cancelled my policy. needless to say they lost my policy & my wifes breakdown policy - 43 years loyalty? No explanation or why you leaving.

I'm still stuck by the roadside. I've been here 4 hours now and been told it will take another hour and a half. Appalling service. Over 5 hours isn't good enough. Any other breakdown service would be better than this.

I had broken down with 2 children late at night on a unlit street 20 mins to get through ... I was told one hour untill the patrol arrived then 2 mins before the car was due I was told it was now another 2 hours before I got assistance with this in mind I called a taxi in anticipation of abandoning the car for the evening the taxi cost £40 as I arrived home I then had a text to say the AA was 10 mins away

I haven't made a claim. The one disappointment with this policy is that (only) when I came to pay it added an automatic renewal clause, which means that I will need to make sure I cancel it if I decide not to renew.
