Before AA attended my breakdown - fast response and a slick kind service - There is an AA champion sitting by the phone who helps put the APP onto the phone. My eternal thanks for his perseverance with me. Took 45 mins for the computer literate genius who had patience and determination to achieve it for me and hence I had no trouble calling for assistance recently. (Old customer linked with Halifax bank account and also increased package) many thanks

We broke down at a petrol station in our occasionally used pick-up truck and called the AA as we thought this vehicle was included in our membership.. Were told this vehicle was no longer insured, and only one (our private car) was included. We were charged £49 to get us on our way in the truck, then subsequently discovered our car, used practically on a daily basis was removed from our membership, no longer insured, and replaced by the pick up truck!! Called customer services, received no reply, so wrote to CEO, Simon Breakwell, and received response from the ' Executive Case Manager ' who did not understand our complaint, that being ' why remove our car, and replace with the truck which we did not appreciate had been removed from membership!' Have been told the £49 paid will be refunded as we are loyal members, but as we have told AA we will not be rejoining, we will wait and see if this promise is forthcoming. AA are not good at corresponding, at clarification on membership, so we are looking for breakdown insurance that we can trust to do this! In the meantime no cover on the car we drive daily!! More to say, the AA 'rescue' wore no mask, even though there is a great deal of this enforcement made on the telephone response.

Unfortunately I had the wrong insurance date so had to cancel. They were most understanding and cancelled on the spot. Cant say the same for AA car rescue even though it was only an hour later they were going to charge me £20.

misleading customers on comparison site details would not use them again for insurance or breakdown cover was a customer for years no more totally unreasonable

I found dealing with AA a nightmare. When renewing my I tried on three separate occasions I could not get through having waited for 1st - 45minutes, 2nd 1hour & 10minutes and lastly 37minutes. waisted my time. Due to COVID-19 like most I am faced with a lock down hence my car is parked up sitting on my drive since December. My renewal was the 6th Jan 2021. I finaly get through to AA on the 26th Jan 2021 with a view to cancel the renewal as they added 15% increase on the previous year (absolute robbery given the current situation for drivers, if anything it should have gone down). Fortunaly Go Compare were able to find a quality solution and actually get me a price which improved my cost by -20% over last year. What was AA response? to charge me over £50 for the for 20 days of insurance for a car parked in a drive!!! Daylight Robery Comes to Mind.

The AA picked up my car and relayed it to a local Garage. They scratched the door quite badly in the process. Despite calls and images sent to them, they did nothing. To my horror they do not even have a number you can call for complaints about such incidents, only an email address but I never had a response. So if you care about your car avoid these guys as there is no accountability whatsoever.

Avoid at all costs! They claim their patrols at experts and claim to repair 8 out of 10 cars at roadside. Called them out for bonnet catch not locking in place and only remaining on safety catch, they arrived said the part has completely seized and needs replacing advised safe to drive even though advised my mechanic is 20 miles away my mechanic advised not to drive on safety catch as not safe as bonnet can flip up at any moment!! Mechanic advised part just needed to be taken off and cleaned and put back on and worked perfectly fine to remove it was just two bolts and to clean it only took break cleaner and a rag! Raised with customer service and completely ignored and are happy with their “experts” work! What a joke!! Con artists if you ask me will be cancelling membership and going elsewhere!

Excellent service all the way the only thing i had a problem with was when i first joined getting the dos to u as i dont go online and found it very hard and difficuilt to do so thats why i gave u a avarage on that other than that excellent serivce and highly recomended one millon per cent.

AA insurance wrongfully put a default onto my credit file and then took 2 years to remove it. This resulted in us been declined for a mortgage

My car was not able to start so I contacted the AA as both my wife and I had membership.Within 2 hours we had an AA guy at the scene.He was first class and had the car working totally within an hour and explained what had occurred. So thank you AA for sending your mechanic named Dee who lives in Rugeley a few miles away.He is TOP CLASS.
