“The ordering process was easy and they kept me well informed about delivery. The only reason it's not five stars is the price. It was worth it though for a son who lives where he can't get any good hot chiles.”

“Three of four Chili Pequin Ristras arrived in satisfactory condition. The 13" Chili Pequin Hoop Ristras is not fresh and a disappointment. 25% of of chilis are discolored or missing, corn husk adornment at top of hoop is minimal at best, and white manila string was not cut to finish. Appears to be an old ristras. We hoped it would be the same quality as the other three we purchased, and the four we purchased last year at your ristras sale. Delivery was a day late, however spices were delivered promptly via U.S Mail.”

Hi Greg, In order to provide our customers with the lowest price possible we utilize two distribution centers that ship out all of our frozen products. We are certified by the Hatch Chile Association as all of our chile is grown, roasted, and packaged in Hatch, NM :) Thanks, Taylor

“Haven’t used the Chile’s yet. But upon inspection I had hoped that the stems had been removed. That is a little disappointing. Shipping was quick just 2 days from NM to VA and everything was securely packed and completely frozen upon arrival. I’m gonna give just 4 stars due to the stems and will review again on next order which will probably be chopped. Thanks!”

“Love the chilies and the ease of having them peeled and roasted. However each bag only contained 6-8 chilies. $80 for five bags of those is a little over priced. If more affordable I would order more often.”

“Well, the jar leaked chili powder during transport so I lost about 1/4. It tastes great but I don’t understand why I have to make sure it’s heated up before use. Makes me think you have an issue with listeria or other dangerous bacteria. I usually like to sprinkle it on my food AFTER cooking. Now I have second thoughts about using the product at all”

“I ordered 5# of chopped medium green chile's. 3 of the 5 bags are whole and not nearly as spicy as the one I've used that was chopped. I'm grateful to have green chile after not having any for many years but quite disappointed in the quality control. Darcey Martin”

“Disappointed with the timeline (16 days) for receiving the rellenos. Once received they were good; a little too much breading. Would like to know what kind of chilis I use Big Jim and Joe Parker. Your rellenos are much larger than the ones I get from you. Angelinas in Espanola use your chilis and those rellenos are also very big. Would love to buy some larger chilis”
