I never received the product. I had originally given the wrong address and immediately tried to correct to the correct address. but there was no response even though I tried 3 different ways to correct the address. So, I am disappointed with the way the company reacts to customer contacts. Well, Hatch was good. They replaced my product and the product was quite good. I had originally ordered using an old address and immediately after submitting noticed the error I had tried to contact them 3 different ways but was unable to communicate with them. After some time, someone apparently noticed the communication and reached out to me and replaced the product at no charge. So I must place the company in the good guys catagory.

Hello Steve, I took a look into our records and see that you reached out to us on 4/23 after placing your order to change the shipping address which we responded to immediately. I see that we did update the shipping address but for some reason, our system did not catch this update when creating your shipping label. Great shipping experience. Product got here exceptionally fast for being in Alaska in perfect condition. Quality was good. Nice sized tamales, not dry. However, tamales were very bland and tasteless. Could have used more filling and seasoning. I am a New Mexican native and used to lots of flavor. Expected lots of green and red chile in food from the Hatch Chile Store.

As a 1st time customer I was so looking forward to eating the tamales I ordered, but sadly, we were very disappointed in them. There was very little meat inside them, so we couldn't really taste the pork inside the thick layer of masa.

Hatch Chile Store is great service. My last order of chiles was shipped fast and frozen when I received them. I didn't care for the chopped chiles as well as I like the roasted and peeled whole chiles. I hope that in the near future that they will be able to send the roasted/peeled whole chiles again.

The chicken tamales were very bland, on the other hand, the Chile Relano's are very good, I would order those again, the tamales, no.

The mask I ordered was black. The one I received is white and pleated. This hides or distorts the design when I wear it.

The product is fine. I will not be ordering again because of your astronomical price for shipping to Alaska! We are a hub for FedEx and UPS and I paid $76 to ship one small box! Wrong!

Hello Cecelia! When it comes to shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, FedEx does charge quite a bit for shipping. Our shipping costs come directly from FedEx themselves. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do when it comes to these costs, and we do apologize for this. We are looking into what we can do to reduce these costs for customers located in these areas. The tamales were too much on the greasy side and needed more child in the ratio to masa.

Was I charged for the second shipment of 2-dozen tamales and 1-dozen chile rellenos shiped last month? The first shipment that came were thawed, with out dry ice and I was charged for. I received the second shipment a little bit better, still had some dry ice in the box. Let me know if I was charged a second time for the second shipment. Not happy with our order. It did not look or taste like Big Jim chile. Lived in Albuquerque for many years and very familiar with hatch chile. Overall the chile was very mild tasting and a little small in size. Package was very nice and still frozen.

I was so excited about these, but a bit underwhelmed :( Maybe I have been spoiled with Velarde green chiles, but these green chiles did not have much flavor at all. Even 505 seem to taste better. Maybe I will give a hotter green a shot.

I was extremely disappointed in the distribution of your product. I pre- ordered in august and did not receive ve my product until December. I called or emailed weekly since September. I was told it would ship in two weeks., and that seemed like the standard reply. I eventually got a message stating you were out of what I ordered and had to reorder or do without. A four month order delay seemed unreasonable especially since my card was charged when I placed the order and it was explained that the orders were first in, first out. Although the chili’s were good, I am probably going to go with a competitor next time as I have lost faith in your company.

The frozen green chiles are great. And I love the chile rellenos. But I did not like the quality of the pork tamales. The chicken tamales are ok. Anyhow, my favorite products by far are the chile rellenos an green chiles. The prices are a little high. But I'm willing to pay it for the things I like from you. I would not order the tamales again.

As you well know you have some major distribution challenges. A great product but poorly delivered and an apparent lack of attention to order details or a poorly designed system. I realize the current health climate and the absolute ineptitude of the current president has disrupted life everywhere but it appears that you have grown faster than the system that runs you. I am still waiting for my last 5 lbs of chopped chiles and it has been several months and other portions of my orders were filled.

Very disappointed in the tamales. The rellenos were okay. Bottled salsas were very good. The customer service and prompt reply’s to my emails was outstanding.

The hot whole green chiles this year are barely hot, at the low end of medium at best. Same thing has happened the last couple years, wasn't like that previous years. Shipping was delayed, but that was expected due to COVID so no big deal. The rellenos were tasty and had medium heat. I air baked them and they came out perfect, would definitely recommend.

Hello, I received these today on my porch I am not sure were they have been but man do they ever stink and liquid coming out of the box. Fed ex tracking number 397817419718 I did receive a box in October with 2 white boxes of peeled , but not sure were these poor Chile have been. Order number HATC-102549 Thanks Brandi Schmitt God Bless You. Emailed you to let you know but haven’t received any reply.
