Quality of food and service has decreased from last year. I was so looking forward to receiving tamales this year but was disappointed. They were wrapped in paper instead of corn husks and had very little filling. One half of my order was on backorder but this was not communicated until I asked them.

I was surprised at how many chili pepper seeds fell off and the tie at the top came undone on one of them. Not sure I would recommend your store. I live in Albuquerque and thought I would get a better product (like your ad picture) from your store but I think I could have bought one local and received the same thing and maybe cheaper. Disappointed.

Everything was good except the shipping. The packaging was great BUT there was no dry ice only an empty plastic bag The chiles were cold but not frozen Maybe someone needs to speak to the company you use for shipping

The products arrived on time. The ice packs were melted but product still cool. Another day and they would have perished. The beef chimichangas need a little more meat in them. The rellenos are good.

I placed my order on October 2nd, I made a phone call on November 3rd to inquire about the order, at that time I was told they would be sent out within the next two weeks. I made another phone call the week of November 15th and never received a call back, I then sent an email, again no response, I then filled out a report stating there was an issue with my order which I then received the response that you are out of the mild chopped green chilies that I had ordered and offered to send me the whole roasted mild chilies with a $10 refund or to send me some chopped from last years crop. While I chose the 1st option I am ver disappointed that I was not informed at the time I placed the order that you were out of the product or when I called. We were needing them for Thanksgiving and we’ll as you can see we have not received anything.

past years Hatch Chile Store was great always received the chiles I ordered. This year I pre-ordered but then I received an email saying they were out of chopped green chiles but they could substitute whole roasted if I wanted them instead. Had no choice but to change my order. As of today November 25 still have not received.

For years I have been getting green frozen chile from The Hatch Chile Store and have been very satisfied. This year I ordered medium frozen green chile and am very disappointed. The chile is very tough and had no flavor or heat. I ordered 10 lbs and have opened three of the packages with the same result. When I called the store I was told that the excessive rain caused the chile to be abnormally mild. I wish that I would have been warned before I bought it. I will probably try it one more time when I finish this batch hoping that it was just this batch.

As I’m still waiting for my order going on four weeks it’s difficult to review. I understand the issues we are experiencing , from staffing and supply chain issues. So I think it would be unfair for me to write anything. However, I do wish my peppers would arrive soon!

I ordered 25 pounds of the Big Jim/Charger and it's the blandest, mildest chile I've ever had. According to the store the amount of rainfall and buying late in the season are the contributing factors. So why sell it to me then? Most of these chiles are so small I'll use them for salsa. Unfortunately I have no other way to get them.

Ordered the tamales, first one was delivered with all the ice melted and the tamales warm and sweaty. Asked for a replacement, which was sent in a timely manner, but arrived the same way. I canceled my order. Still waiting on the roasted chilis.

The Chili is not disappointing I am always happy with what my family and I order. What was disappointing was the customer service over the phone and the lack of communication to us as paying customers. It took over 3 weeks to get my roasted chili and when I called to find out what the hold up was the girl on the phone was rude and said you guys were in the middle of relocation. Not once did I get an email letting me know my order was going to be shipping late. I ordered this chili for empanathas that I was supposed to make for a wedding reception. Needles to say, I didn’t get the chili in time so my niece was disappointed. I am disappointed.

The Chile I received had a few that were starting to go bad but that’s to be expected. I was disappointed with the heat factor. I ordered hot and the Chile was mild if that.

Some of the chilies were spooled and turning red. This has not been my experience in the past.

This year we ordered 25 pounds of green chilies, as we do every fall. We order late with the usual experience of receiving seven or eight red chilies in the box of greens. For some reason this year the box of greens had no reds. Zero. None at all. I was a little disappointed in that so when I saw you were offering 10 pound boxes of fresh reds I wanted one. When received the peppers were kind of dry and many of them were cracked and slightly rotten. My net yield From the red peppers order was real low. It seems like in the long run I had to spend an extra weekend roasting seeding and cleaning up. I also had to pay FedEx twice. It's October in the Pacific Northwest, so needless to say I'm having to roast these peppers in the rain. I ended up with about twice as many roasted reds in ziplock bags at the end of the day. But I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost and effort. Just gives the perception that the Reds I would've gotten in the green order we're held back. If this is actually the case, I'm not really a fan of it. The second order of the season (the red Peppers) was not up to your usual standards.

Not so great, yet. Apparently, when I placed the order, somehow, the address defaulted to the same address but in Chicago instead of Evanston. I never caught it and the Chili’s were shipped to Chicago. I never received them and I even went to the address in Chicago and saw no sign of Chili’s. I recognize this isn’t your fault. However, i a, out $100 and have no Chilis. Your team said they would give me 50% off and I am thinking I want to do that but when I email Ed back saying I wanted the roasted now instead (due to all this! I really do not have time to roast and peel these) never heard back that the order was placed. I wanted 5lbs of med and 5lbs of hot, roasted. They quoted me $64 and change and that would include shipping. I also re stated my correct address and did request they not be shipped while on vacation oct 22-30.
