“We bought some chilis for my parents as a gift after they moved away from the Southwest, and were feeling a bit sad about the move. It wound up being the perfect gift! The chilis were super fresh when they arrived, and they were gigantic, to boot! My parents were very happy with their gift. :)”

“I have ordered fresh hatch chiles from The Hatch Chile Store for several years now. I'm able to source fresh hatch chiles locally, but none of them are as good as those I get from The Hatch Chile Store. Shipping is always fast and I'm always extremely happy with the quality of what's delivered. I roast them myself, freeze the roasted peppers and enjoy them all year long.”

“This was my first time ever ordering Hatch Chile's. I ordered 5 lbs each of the green medium, green hot, and the red chiles. All of them showed up in good shape and they taste fantastic. I would order from them again.”

“The 20 lb order of hot hatch came in days later than expected, over 3 lbs of the chili were rotten, the chili had a foul stench about it and did not smell anything like the hatch I’m used to… I purchased a box of hatch earlier this year from a local grocer and the quality, taste and smell were all far superior to the product I received from your company… So far, the chili is not hot, most of it is mild, sometimes medium heat… I’m sorry to leave such a bad review but I have to be honest… I was extremely disappointed… Thank you for the opportunity to share with you.”

“5 lbs of chilies. 35 chilies are usable on average per box, after discarding spoiled peppers. That's way over $1 per chilie, not including shipping. The chilies that are not spoiled taste good and look good. Whether it's worth it or not, I could not say. It would be cheaper to go to New Mexico and just get a 50 lb bag for the same price.”

“I have lived in New Mexico since 1959. My father worked for Farmer's Rights throughout the sixties. He loved green chilies especially the "Big Jim's. We would take a drive from Albuquerque to Hatch every autumn to purchase a few bushels to roast. We made it a family outing and when we got home we started our Jim's assembly line. As we finished roasting a bunch we would peel, seed, and bag them for freezing. Dad always made chile sauce and our neighbor, Eloisa would make enchiladas. It was a wonderful tradition! It was not until recently we were unable to get Big Jim's in Aztec, NM. My son recommended I search, Big Jim's. So I di and found The Hatch Chile Store! It was so easy to order. My chile's arrived basically overnight. They are the biggest, most flavorful, medium-hot chile ever! My favorite for any green chile receipt! Especially, Rellenos!”

“The Chile were rotten I had a wet box leaking juices. There were cockroaches in the box. I throw out over thirty pods because they were slimy rotten. I paid for 2 day shipping but the box was packed and shipped on September 28th and the leaking box arrived at my house on October 4th.”

“Fast delivery, the chillies were fresh like they were just picked from the vine, and we are 1000 miles away. We loved our order of chillies. They were meaty and delicious chillies. We Roasted them ourselves and ate many before we could get them in the freezer. Awesome company, very friendly when I called on the phone. We will Definitely be repeat customer's.
