“Love the products. 1 minor complaint--this has never happened with my other orders: The 5 pack box of frozen Medium Hatch Green Chile was frozen solid with all 5 packs stuck solid frozen together to each other. The only way to separate them was to thaw them. I've refrozen them, and hoping they are all okay. Additionally, 1 of the packages was split open.”

“A great product, and beautiful too. Shipping was efficient and relatively quick. We are used to picking up a ristra living many years in Arizona. After moving to Colorado we realized chili isn't as" available " here. This website is a fantastic choice if you're looking for really nice ristras.”

“I buy chiles every fall when they're ripe, the red ones. They're just the right heat for the way I cook, and very flavourful. Delivery is EXCELLENT. I rinse them and chop them up immediately, and then freeze. A 5-pound shipment, chopped up, fits a one-gallon freezer bag nicely. I moved this fall, just prior to shipment. An e-mail about address change was promptly handled, and my shipment arrived at my new quarters without incident. Cheers from Virginia's Southern Border! Leon Jester Collinsville, VA USA”

“The new fire roasted green chile is excellent. Great taste, texture and is as good or better than its frozen counterpart, which I also buy and enjoy. Its bonus is that it requires zero freezer space which is important in our small freezer. The price is very reasonable although it is not as important as quality and value. It is my favorite vegetable for all my green green chili stew dishes. Great product!”

“When you live in the Midwest and you can’t get authentic green chiles.. you have ‘em delivered straight from the source all the way to your doorstep in Chicago. From boiling peanuts with the powder to using it in place of red chili powder in a big batch of homemade chili. This stuff rips hard.”

“Loved the chile, shipping was great. However, I was on a subscription plan, and somehow, my subscription was "canceled". (not by me) When I called to inquire, the person was the definition of unhelpful. Something about a change in the system on their end. She told me I just needed to re-subscribe, but when I went to do so, subscriptions had gone up significantly. Seemed to me not a coincidence my subscription was canceled at that point. If I had a subscription business, and someone called to ask why they had stopped receiving their subscription, completely unaware as to why.... I would bend over backward to get them signed back up...with an absolute minimum hassle for them, or change in cost, as I would be looking to retain said customer. I didn't feel valued as a customer at all.”

“This is the BEST option for chile' that is not fresh roasted. I grew up in New Mexico and moved to East Texas where no one knows what red or green chile' is. The Hatch Chile Store sells chile that tastes like my childhood! Thank you for all you do!”

“I ordered Xtra hot fresh and unfortunately received inferior product. They refused to reship or refund based on “policy”. After many years of purchases, the one time I had an issue and they refused to make it right.”
