The Chile were rotten I had a wet box leaking juices. There were cockroaches in the box. I throw out over thirty pods because they were slimy rotten. I paid for 2 day shipping but the box was packed and shipped on September 28th and the leaking box arrived at my house on October 4th.

I was not impressed with my experience. Started with the shipping of my product I had to call twice and finally told that they were waiting on the harvest and then after receiving my order… I do not believe that I received 10 lbs if Chile but I was informed that they do weigh it before packaging and asked to weigh it at my home but it was too late because I had already began to roast…. And finally my FUEGO hatch peppers not HOT at all. I probably received a mild peppers Instead of my requested order. I have previously purchased XXHOT and I know what fuego peppers are. Regardless I will not be ordering in the future.

This year the shipment was significantly decomposed. Hatch Chile Store was responsive in issuing credit. Seems some level of 2021 economics ended chiles screened for shipment and shelf life. Covid, global warming, excess rain before harvest, and so on. Hope package delivery of kick-a**Big Jim chiles gets back to normal ASAP. Best wishes for next year.

I'm still waiting for half my order. I paid for 2 day shipping. First 25 pounds came on Friday after being packed on a Tuesday. 3 days. I have yet to receive the other 25 pounds. Having lived in NM for 7 years, the hot peppers I bought were not ripe.

Peppers arrived in poor condition. Standard delivery took 5 days not the 3 days that I expected. I feel that packing 25 lbs of peppers in a single box with no dividers contributes to the problem.

Half of my order (I paid for the 2 day shipping) was moldy on arrival. Not nearly as good as previous years. So disappointing...

Normally have a good experience with this company, but this year I had about 5 spoiled chiles in the box, and most of the rest were wrinkled.

So poorly packed (thrown in without any care) that the chiles ae broken, poked, etc. Of course, it means that even with 2-day shipping, damaged chiles were rotting and affecting all the adjacent chiles.

as my correspondence with Evan reveals, i had a bad experience. I paid over$200 for 2 day delivery and my chili arrived 9 days later.almost a quarter of them had gone bad. I've sent Evan some pics.

Their shipping times are way below par. I ordered the chimichangas and rellenos. The package didn't arrive so they reshipped. It arrived 4 days later and everything was thawed and mushy and very warm so the one small bag of dry ice had melted days before. I gave them the benefit of doubt and placed another order but this time paid $73.31 for expedited shipping. The items arrived in the same condition... thawed, mushy and no dry ice. Customer service told me not to order these items until winter time. Would have been good to know that before spending $400 on two orders. On a separate order I ordered only salsa and seasoning items. The order was placed on 8/20/21 and I still have not received it or any communication as to why it has been delayed. If you can live with never knowing when you will actually get your items or whether they will arrive edible, then go for it. Otherwise, I recommend finding another company.

I placed an order and paid for 10 pounds of Sandia. My order arrived as promised but I only received half of my order. I contacted Customer Service and apologized and re-ordered the second 5 pounds and charged an additional 4.99 for shipping, My second order never arrived. I had to cancel my order.

Shipping delayed a week because of rain. Understandable. When the chili’s arrived a lot of them were cut off on the end. In addition to those had to throw out some that were rotten and squishy. Expected better for the price. Then found better Hatch chilie’s at the local grocery store for 99 cents per lb.

I preordered back in January a d I would love to do a great review, however I still have not received my Chili’s. I haven’t even received the 2 day shipping notice and we are in the middle of August. Used to be if you preordered you got priority .

Chile size was horrible. Most were sized like a large jalapeño and not typically what I’m used to. Yield was horrible. Lost 35% due to size issues (so small with so little meat they would not peel). I might consider buying again, however, fruit basket ALWAYS beats expectations. I’ve included a few pics of the larger of the bushell. What I did save is good and hot.
