“Hello Preston family from the New England area of CT. Recently we had our 4th annual chile roast which I started after growing up in Albuquerque and sharing with now many of my friends who love them. We have gone from 50lbs a season to now just recently of 250#'s and next year will be even bigger I'm sure. I would just like to share that I had asked my friends to purchase their own quantities and use the guarantee fresh shipping method which they did. Unfortunatly one 25# box showed up with some rotten ones in it and heard he was only compensated for a portion of the order. I am disappointed that this was the case. He was able to salvage some fresh ones but the fact that they didn't come as fresh as the other 225lbs gives him some concern when he cooks them. I just wanted to share this with you because I want participants to trust me when they order and pay extra for the quarantee fresh shipping. Regards, Jeff”

“We used to live in a place where Hatch chiles were roasted and sold at roadside stands—the aroma was absolutely intoxicating. After moving to an area where they’re not common, I was promised I could still buy fresh chiles and have them shipped so I could roast them myself. These days, I only do it every other year because it’s more expensive, but it’s worth every penny. I roast and freeze them, and the first time my neighbors smelled that incredible aroma, they wondered what it was! Now I share with them, and they’re thrilled to receive fresh roasted chiles. The chiles always arrive in excellent condition. If they offered a ‘mystery box’—where you don’t know what varieties you’ll get—I’d buy it in a heartbeat!”

“I lived in El Paso, TX for 30 years and was spoiled with fresh green chili year round. Moved to the East Coast 10 years ago; you can't find green chili ever! I love having a little taste of the Southwest shipped to me. The green chilis are always fresh and flavorful. The shipping is fast. It's my yearly end of summer tradition to order Hatch chilis from this store.”
