“I took advantage of being able to order early for this year's crop back in January. I ordered 25 lbs of Big Jim's. They all arrived in great shape. Not one bad one in the whole box. The Chile's were huge and roasted up very nicely. This is my 3rd year of ordering early and I couldn't be more pleased with the product. Thank you, Hatch Chile.”

“Living in NC is a challenge to get the proper green chilies for stews, soups, and burgers. I miss living in Colorado, so to have a little taste of home here in NC I have to improvise. Iā€™ve been ordering from Hatch for a number of year. Always fresh, always as advertised. If I have a problem with my order, they will Absolutely bend over backwards to make it right. Once youā€™re a customer, youā€™ll continually get all kinds of recipes and ideas to make other things you may have never heard of. My freezer is now full again with roasted green chilies that I roasted, peeled, and packaged for this winter 2024. Order from here if you want great product, and great customer service.”

“Born and raised in Colorado and eating on Hatch Green chili! We moved the Pacific Northwest last year for my job and the food situation here is horrible. My husband bought a case of chili from you to aid in my mental health along with our stomach's and missing food from home. We just purchased our second batch today to get us through another year. “As I have discussed in previous reviews, I paid $53 for overnight shipping and then waited many days to get my shipments. The frozen products had thawed completely and had to be replaced. This took additional days. I have asked repeatedly to be refunded at least the $53 dollars since it obviously gave me no beneift. However, I have been consistently stonewalled by your customer service department on my requests. Customer service blamed both me and UPS for the problem and never the Store. By the way, I note the frozen products were shipped from a location in California not from Hatch or anywhere in southern NM. Where are the chiles grown that are used in these products?”

Your order was placed on a Thursday. Our website makes it clear that frozen orders are only shipped on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It also states that overnight shipping is from the time of shipping- not the time of ordering. When you notified us on Monday you had not received your order and wanted to cancel it, we tried to do that. It had already progressed too far into the system for us to stop it from shipping. When the order did ship, it was delayed by UPS. We did reship the product to you. Our website also makes it clear that our frozen items are distributed from two distribution centers. The products are grown and prepared here, but they are shipped to distribution centers to allow for ease of shipping to customers across the USA.
