I ordered from you around a year or so ago.. Seems as though the packaging has changed? I wasn't even sure I was ordering from the right company.. Ole Gringo??? LOL I received my most recent order a few weeks ago.. Red Chili sauce, mild and medium... Not really sure about the flavor, not bad.. but not what we expected.. Green Chili sauce is great..

I love, love, love your green chili! My only comment is that I wish that I had gotten an email about when it was going to arrive. I was out of town the weekend it got to my house and by the time I found it on my doorstep, the dry ice was gone and the chili was barely cool. It still tastes great however :O)

Chile tastes great. Skipped last year due to the prices being so high. For the last 10 years I have ordered chile annually from the hatch store. One thing, I selected and was charged for 2 day delivery and it was delivered on the 3 day with shipping info and all. Considering the price difference between the 2 deliveries I feel I was ripped off. Perhaps you should deliver as it was paid for!

I was so excited when I received my box of green chili, I roasted them right away. The aroma of roasting green chili is the best. You don't realize how much you miss it until you've been away from it for a while. I ordered medium and the heat was perfect!!

I love the chile. I normally buy it at Central Market since they are they only ones that seem to carry the roasted and peeled kind, but for some reason this year they said they didn't receive as much. I wish I would of bought more because ordering seemed much more expensive. I ordered 5 lbs but it seemed so light.

The chili's arrived frozen as stated. I made Green Chili that weekend and the flavor was wonderful. The only issue I had was with delivery. I ordered the Chili's on a Saturday and they were to be shipped via 2day air so I would have expected them by Wednesday or Thursday but did not get them for another 5 days. The package did have a 2day air label but they came ground for some reason. That said I would order again just aware there was a shipping delay. The Chili's are very good.

Your products are great. I am still enjoying. I purchased 10 pounds for myself and 10 pounds as a gift for a friend celebrating his birthday. My order, p-laced by my wife came in quickly. The one for my friend in Florida took a month, Aug 24th to Sept 22. Other than that you did a good job.Thanks, Jim

Hi Karl, when you placed the order, Big Jim was clearly marked as a "**PRE -ORDER**" on the website. I'm sorry if there was some confusion as to when we would start shipping it!

I ordered my chile on Sunday night and had it on my door step on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 pm and had it roasted by 4:00 pm peled and chopped and bagged by 6:00 pm I had ordered the LUMBRE I seasoned some with garlic salt and had a bowl of pinto beans with fryed potatoes and some of the LUMBRE CHILE and was a little disappointed it was not as hot as I thought as other CHILIE that I have had

I purchased 10 lbs big jim. They arrived fresh. They were mild for chili rellenos . About a third were small and immature.

This year the medium green chili has no taste. But the smoky flavor is good. Disapointed.

The Hatch Chile Store has a very well put together presence online. It was easy to order from and ship to a third party. The reviews on the chili have been great. My only suggestion would be to notify the customer if there will be a delay or back order in advance. I happily complied with the recommended Priority (2-day) mailing, but the package took a week to arrive because it was not shipped for 4 days.

When I placed my order, I first signed in and then placed two separate orders going to different locations. On the second order it selected the first location and I was unable to change it. Upon calling a couple of times I either got through or had a call returned, I spoke with a very pleasant woman and I explained that I wanted the second order sent to a different address. I was informed that things where all set. Both orders ended up shipping to the original address. The address is to my daughter and second order was to come to me. I'm not sure what the expense was to have the kids ship the peppers up to me would have been, I told them to just keep them. I have been placing the same order since ( I think ) 2012 when the kids moved from New Mexico to Florida. I will continue to place the same order - I love your product and thank you for finding a less expensive way to ship - thank you for your time and all your hard work John Potter

Hi Shane, We've just started harvesting red as it takes longer to mature. Orders for roasted should start shipping out in the next few weeks. Orders for fresh are shipping now. Let us know if you have any other questions. Best, Preston

Shipping, packing, ease of purchase all fine. I have tasted and cooked with two of the bags of the medium-hot roasted/peeled/chopped. One bag was so mild it had almost no taste. The second was delicious and exactly what i hoped for. I have three more bags to go through - I hope they are more consistent.

Hi Erik, I pulled up your order and see the problem. You opted for ground shipping. We have a bold, red warning up on the checkout page indicating that you should choose 2-Day Air for our perishable products and are responsible for any spoilage if you do not. Next time, pay the extra for 2-Day delivery and I doubt you'll see any spoilage! Best, Preston
