“It arrived fresh, I had only about 3 chilies that were not.”

“Hello, Last week we received our chile, packing and shipping were perfect, we both loved the medium chile, good NM chile taste. As for the hot, it didn't have the taste or heat. More like an Anaheim chile. Can you recommend which chile with the taste and more heat than the medium? We tried mixing the hot and medium and it just tasted like the medium hot. All and all we liked the chile. Thank you very much, John.”

“The taste is pleasant. We ordered the Med-hot Big Jim. 3/4 of the chiles we got seem to be closer to medium w/ the remaining 1/4 being hot. Six of about 60 were broken or cracked but cutting off the ugly parts cost us less than 1% of our ten pounds. The box was torn some--all my deliveries are like this lately. Either cardboard is weaker or (I suspect) UPS is rougher and less careful.”

Mike, I just pulled up your tracking history and it appears that your boxes shipped the 9th and were delivered on the 11th for a 2-Day Transit Time. I can't do much as to the price. Did you not see the total when you placed the order?

“I ordered a 25 pound case for the restaurant I manage. The chiles looked beautiful. I did have to waste about 2-3lbs of spoilage but we got the rest refrigerated and over the last few day have been roasting for special salsas, entrees and even ice cream. The rest we roasted and froze for later use. Aside from the wasted ones the ones we used were great aroma roasting, great taste and I love the story behind them I talk it up all week on Facebook. Thank you for give us the option to get these peppers all the way in Pittsburgh, PA!!!”

“The chile is delicious and arrived as promised. My only problem is that about 7% was going bad. I started roasting it the day the box arrived. Living in Florida without a good supply of green chile, I am delighted to get some.”

“Delivery may have taken an extra day or two, with the warm weather around 15% of the Chile was spoiled. This was the only time in years that this has happened. Otherwise Chile was great!”

“This year's order was disappointing. The bottom of the box was wet and a lot of the chili's were mush and unusable. This is the first time I have had a problem with your orders. After my review they amended the issue by sending some more to cover the yuck ones.”

“Happy I'm able to get green chile in WA. 3 or 4 pounds out of the 25 pounds of fresh I ordered had spoiled when it arrived. All in all I will continue to order from them for my green chile fix.”

“Have been a loyal customer for several years. My shipment was delayed due to weather, but nobody can control that. Not one chile was damaged in shipment. Love the pre order, have done that the last two years. I will be back again”

Sherry, You can order roasted on our website at any time. Is there something that could be made clearer on our website? All of the product pictures and descriptions for fresh have fresh chile in them. All of the product pictures and descriptions for roasted have roasted chile in them. Roasted chile ships year-round while fresh is only available as a pre-order during the off-season. Thanks, Preston

“I really appreciate finding the store and being able to order some Chile. Ordering and shipping was very easy, my only issue was that one of the freezer bags had a corner torn off. It must have happened either before or during the packing process though because the cooler and box weren't damaged. We will definitely order again once our stash gets low.”
