“They are the best. I ordered on the chilies on Sat. Aug. 26 but it took two weeks for them to come. I thought they would have been picked on the 29th and shipped for me to receive them on the Aug.1. I did not receive them until the 8th which was a hassle to get 50 lbs roasted in one night because I had plans on leaving town on the 9th. That was my reason to order a week earlier. My UPS does not deliver til 5-5:30 p.m. I think if Hatch is not going to send out the week you ordered for whatever reason I should have been sent an email explaining why they would be postponed a week.”

Hi Anaise, I pulled up your order and it looks like your order should have gone out earlier. There is no note as to the delay so I apologize for it! We have distribution centers in Wisconsin and Nevada in order to provide the best shipping rates possible to our customers. All of our chile is grown, harvested, processed, and frozen here in NM. Enjoy!

“I was happy with the chili that was good but the service kind of took a detour. I was asked to pay another $10 for another shipment because the other took so long. So I'd like to know if that is still going to be delivered or not.”

“The process from ordering to delivery was pretty seamless and easy. The chiles arrived in the time frame you promised. The chiles arrived in great shape and taste delicious. I ordered the "medium" and now realize I should have ordered "hot" to have some kick. Great flavor though!”

“I ordered two rounds of green chiles as I cannot get them where I currently live. I am happy with my order although the boxes came pretty roughed up. They were okay on the first order but the second order I had a few chiles that were smashed up so they ended up leaking the chile juice on the others and made those few pods useless as they were starting to go bad. I would order again and hope they would be in better shape.”

“I love hatch chilis. I ordered medium heat fresh chilis this time and unfortunately for me, they were way too mild for my taste. They were early crop which I was told were milder than later season chilis tend to be. They were just way to mild for my taste, almost no heat in them whatsoever more like tasty bell peppers than chilis. Next time I will order later in the season I guess and hope I get the right amount of heat in my Hatch chilis.”

Jim, we don't see THAT large of a swing in heat from early to late. I would upgrade the level of heat you order next time to Medium-Hot or Hot, instead of waiting longer!

“Arrived quickly. Was very pleased with the way they look -- have not tried them yet! (They were completely thawed upon arrival. Hope that doesn't affect quality.). Will use you again next year. Can't live without my chilies! Thank you.”

“Your web site is easy to navigate, and my son-in-law loves your chiles. It's his favorite annual birthday gift! However- your shipping information (and company) changed this year, and it was not easy to follow. I ship to DC- before there was a ship overnight option that was clearly marked, but now I had to guess which option would work. The web site recommended a 3-4 day ship...not good for frozen chiles! Plus I never got an email notification the package shipped, just one saying it arrived. So the box sat on their porch for 4 hours. Fortunately, the chiles were fine.”

“For the most part, I was very satisfied with the chiles. I lost about a dozen chiles , because they had gone bad. (about 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound). I noticed ,though, that when they shipped out of Albuquerque, N.M., they went clear to Louisville, Kentucky, then to Billings, Montana, then to Sheridan, Wyoming. I know this was UPS`s Shipping route, so you weren`t really responsible.”
