“Very please with the product and the company. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the cleaning of the chilis was a bit less than I anticipated. The website stated that they would be cleaned and peeled less than normal but I thought it would be a bit better. I ordered chopped chili and determined that was a big mistake since peeling little bits of chili took an extremely long time. I also wish I would not have ordered so much. I really am not sure if I want to spend the time on the remaining 8 pounds! LOL. The quality of the chili is fantastic though. Shipping was spot on. I highly recommend this store. I would wait however to order any chopped chili's until the covid restrictions are gone.”

Hello Russell, We do apologize for this inconvenience and understand the frustration. Covid-19 did put a damper on this past year's production with new regulations we had to follow. We had to transition from Roasting, Peeling, and Packaging by hand to a machine that did not allow us to perform at our normal measures. This year, we should be back to our normal routine and you should not be experiencing this!:) Thanks, The Hatch Chile Store

“Chilis were very mild, very little cheese. Best way to reheat them seemed to be deep frying...if I was going to deep fry I would make my own with more cheese and hotter peppers!”

“I recently bought some chili rellenos and they were delicious. Not every product you order is as tasty and high quality. I also tried a few salsas and they are really fresh tasting. I will definitely order again.”

“Yes we are loving our chili’s. We debated over the heat levels and decided on medium which is just right on the edge of too hot but we love the flavor. We have made smothered chicken chili burritos and chili verde with pork . Delicious! We also sent our family a batch (3pack)of your chili rellenos as well as for us. So far er like everything we have ordered: rellenos, fresh frozen and enchilada sauce. Next we want to try the tamales but we have quite a bit to get through first!”

“The Hatch Chile ws a gift for someone else so I don't know how it tasted. I am not impressed with the tracking of this gift. On the order form it tells me I will receive a text and email notice of it's delivery. I don't know when or IF it arrived yet without calling the recipient. So, I love the products but not the tracking procedure.”

“The chile was very dark and bitter. I simmered it like I usually would but it never tasted quite right. Not at all what I had expected.”

“I purchased a 2 Foot, Traditional Sandia Ristra for Christmas 2020, fully expecting shipping delays due to the pandemic. Not only did it arrive ahead of schedule, it was delivered in perfect condition and the ristra was slightly larger than described. Amazing product. Amazing service.”

“We ordered mild, medium, and hot chiles. We make green chili regularly and wanted to make the pepper portion less labor intensive. We were happy with the result. We thought the medium chilis were plenty hot!”
