“Placing the advanced order in January was nice. The next contact regarding my order came at harvest time informing me of anticipated receipt date. However, I received email solicitations daily, sometimes multiple times in one day. I have now blocked messages from the hatch chile store. The chile is delicious but peppers are small.”

“Ordered a five- pound box of medium and a five pound box of hot a couple of months ago. Medium arrived first. Beautiful, healthy, meaty chiles (big jims?). Had the joy of roasting them on my patio (I live in San Diego). No greater smell in the world. Excellent flavor and heat. The hot showed up a week or so later. Again they were healthy, clean and fresh. No rot at all. Roasted them. These were f***ing HOT. Gonna have to mix them with something to cool them down. Ordered 2nd box of medium, 10 lbs this time. Roasted them yesterday. Fantastic quality product. Vacuum sealed them and put some in the freezer. I should be OK til Christmas (?). As a native New Mexican, you know we are addicted and must have the chile. I am so grateful that Chile Store sends out such high quality product.”

“The hatch chile store is the best! I have ordered every year, we look forward to August when they arrive and roast them up and put them in the freezer for the year the big Jim’s this year are spicer than last and we love them! “I ordered some fresh chilies and received them and they were damaged so I contacted your company with pictures and I got denied then I called your office. Talk to a manager and she wouldn’t do anything for me so I probably won’t purchase anything from this company again sorry but that’s business”

“We look forward to the new crop every year! Our 25 pound box arrives on a blazing hot, 110+ degree, Arizona August day and the chiles get roasted that afternoon, poolside of course! We package them into 1 pound bags and freeze them. The trick is to make sure that we don't run out of the previous year's chiles before the new ones hit the freezer. The smell of roasting chiles is something that needs to be packaged. We Arizonans love the smell of creosote after the rain and there are candles with this scent...hmm. Would roasted chile candles make us too hungry?”
