“Every year I order green chile from the Hatch Chile Store so that Christmas dinner can be green chile stew. I am NEVER disappointed in the quality of the chile and the stew is as good as being in Taos. Plus, they roast, seed and chop it for me. All I have to do is thaw it! Yahoo.”

“As a native to Albuquerque NM and being addicted to Hatch green chile, I must say that I hate to give such a low score 🫣. Please note this is just for the chile and not the site or customer service. The site amd speed are amazing ❤️ No longer living in NM, I have ordered Chile for the past 20 years. I used to have family ship it so I was very excited to find this online store which greatly simplified the process. Orders arrive very fast and still very frozen. I believe I have ordered from this site for 4 years or so and it was not until the last two years that I began to receive chile that basically had no flavor. No rich sweet brown sugar after taste, low body, amd no heat. I don't like the super hot stuff but I am looking for some burn to feel and particularly the rich flavors hatch is know for. Last year I ordered mild because even Hatch mild could often times be too hot for most of our family. It had zero heat and was lacking the typical flavor profile. This year I decided to order mild and medium (still being afraid of the hot because the hot used to kill me when I was younger) and I had the same result this year. No heat and this time very little flavor. I did do some research and have learned that the high temperatures amd drought as of late in NM is becoming a problem and likely the cause of this issue. I REALLY hope that in the end our warming climate doesn't kill such an amazing chile. 😬”

“You are the best!! So reliable and responsive. Our Chile Ristras and wreath are the best we have ever owned. They went up last night and are gorgeous and sparkling in the sun this morning. We have a Santa Fe home here in San Diego area and they complete the look. In fact I want to order three more 24 inch treated ones. How do I do that??? If you still have my billing info please go ahead and order if not just let me know how to do the order. Thanks so much for all of your help and thoughtfulness!!! “Your chile is excellent!! The ONLY REASON I gave you three stars is that my order for hot and mild chile was mixed up. I ordered 3 lbs. mild, 3 lbs. medium and 2 lbs. hot. What I received was 2 lbs. mild, 3 lbs medium, and 3 lbs. hot. I also recognize that this is an honest mistake that anyone could make. I look forward to making carne adovada, Texas chili, red chile ribs, etc. with your chile as the featured spice. Mistake rectified with unprecendented speed. Rating raised to four stars!”
