“I loved the preorder option because I was able to save and buy a larger amount. By getting in early I felt the chiles would be crisp and fresh. I was disappointed ithat they were wilted and by the following day those that I still had not time to finish roasting were beginning to turn. I understand the heat gets to them but sitting and waiting to pack takes it’s toll.”

“They arrived right on schedule. However about 10% of the chilis were damaged from what looks to be a partially crushed box. Otherwise this would have been a solid 5 star review. The rest were perfect, large is size, and big in flavor. For sure, $7 a pound is pricey for chilis, but since they are 10 times better than out store bought chilis, it'll be hard not to place another order next year.”

“The last time we ordered we received everything in perfect condition. This time when we received our order, half of the entire order was molded. We will try again.”

“I Love hatch green Chile. I lived in Denver for near 40 years. Every year near Labor day we would purchase several bushels of Chile from roadside stands. I moved nearly 8 years age and knew I would miss my Chile peppers. Occasionally I can find hatch Chile in local grocers but not always. So I order the 5 pound big Jim medium peppers from the hatch Chile store. The batch arrived timely but half the order was ruined in the transport. I salvaged what I could and contacted customer service. Very quickly a new batch was sent and arrived. I appreciate the no hassle quick response.”

“Surprisingly good. Not quite sure they are as good as Anaheim Peppers, but a good red sauce or salsa should make the difference! I have only eaten 3 to date.”

“I loved the tamales and rellenos that I have ordered in the past. I have also ordered green chili sauce which is awesome. I was disappointed in the red chili corn tortillas. I ordered 3 dozen and wish I had only ordered one. They are very dry and fall apart when trying to fill and roll. Packaging is great for everything I have ordered for delivery in Floida.”

“When my husband and I went to NM a few years back we fell in love with the regional cooking there. I ordered the mild red chile powder and surprised him with carne avodada one night for dinner. It was amazing! I’ll be placing more orders for spices. I”

“My most recent order was to send some delicious Hatch Chili salsas to my family stationed in Germany. The online ordering process was easy! The package was sent out very quickly. However, I do not understand why shipping to an APO address does not qualify for free shipping. I would have ordered another jar for them if I had gotten the free shipping offer. That was my only disappointment.”

“This was my second order of Chile Rellenos from The Hatch Chile Store—and they are delicious. In the first order, the Chile Rellenos were large and one was filling; but in the latest order, they were all pretty small, more of a side dish than a meal. Not sure if that relates to the harvest and the drought, so I'm giving The Hatch Chile Store the benefit of the doubt. Besides, even if they were small, they were still delicious.”

“The product is great and the customer service is fantastic (though a bit pricey)! Only reason for 4 stars is that the product arrived thawed both with my initial shipment and my second (replacement) shipment. Need to do a better job of keeping the product frozen. Shipping services are not as fast as they used to be!”

“Your products are wonderful !! Your personnel could not be nicer to deal with. I ordered my ristra for a particular occasion, was told they were out of materials. In the end it was a week after it. Was due. I’ve bought before, if I do again, I will add a lot more lead time”

“We have ordered from you many times and it’s been wonderful. However this year you sent me the wrong order and then resent me my original order but I only received 5lb out of my 15lbs. Still waiting on the other 10lb. So far 2 mess ups in one order and wondering if I will get the rest with out a mess up. Not quite on the ball this year.”

“Awesomely flavorful chiles! Already roasted and peeled makes it so easy. It’s a little seedy though. I’ve made salsas, green Chile mac n cheese, green Chile stew.... yum!”
