“Very slow when delivering fresh frozen chilli. I have been waiting a month and a half. Their bottled products are tasty and not too hot. I am waiting for the delivery that has not arrived. I have no idea when the fresh frozen items will arrive.”

“For years I have been getting green frozen chile from The Hatch Chile Store and have been very satisfied. This year I ordered medium frozen green chile and am very disappointed. The chile is very tough and had no flavor or heat. I ordered 10 lbs and have opened three of the packages with the same result. When I called the store I was told that the excessive rain caused the chile to be abnormally mild. I wish that I would have been warned before I bought it. I will probably try it one more time when I finish this batch hoping that it was just this batch.”

“Still waiting for my “pre-order” that was placed on 9/26 I placed my “pre-order” for 10lbs of chopped green chilies on 9/26. On 11/16 I sent an email saying that I still hadn’t received my order and got a reply saying pre-orders were being filled by a first come, first serve basis starting on orders placed 9/17. Then on 11/24 I get another email asking me “how am I enjoying my order?” and to leave this review. So obviously if I’m receiving that email, even Hatch Green Chili Store thinks I should have received my order by now. I decided to do another follow up on my order and spoke with one of the customer service reps. He proceeded to tell me that they “ran out” of all the chopped green chilies…okay??…well I placed my order 2 months ago. How come I had zero communication about this from your company until I followed up, not once but twice? He offered me whole chilies and $15 back as a replacement. No thanks. I personally feel as if my order was dropped and no responsibility was taken on your company’s part. So much for placing a “pre-order”. Now I’m just hoping that I’ll get my chilies before Christmas.”

“As I’m still waiting for my order going on four weeks it’s difficult to review. I understand the issues we are experiencing , from staffing and supply chain issues. So I think it would be unfair for me to write anything. However, I do wish my peppers would arrive soon!”

“The roasted hatch chilis are fantastic, perfect for adding to many recipes. The recipes on the site are great, I've tried a few already. My only complaint is in shipping. First of all praise for using biodegradable packing. From your house to my house was 3 days. I'm guessing the dry ice ran out somewhere on day 2. The chilis arrived in a semi-frozen state. They seemed to re-freeze OK though.”

“Well, I was refunded for a product that was unavailable for roughly two months after ordering. Nothing on your website indicated that the product wasn’t available when I placed my order. Love to give a small family run my business but this transaction didn’t go well. Ray Aigner”
