“From the 1940s to the 1990s, my parents had large boxes of Hatch dried red chile shipped to San Diego. My son, my nephew and I continue the tradition. The folks at the Store are wonderful to work with, very friendly, efficient, and accomodating. I made an error on my order and they were most gracious about making adjustments. I heartily recommend that you get your New Mexico Red from this family-run business.”

“Everything was good except the shipping. The packaging was great BUT there was no dry ice only an empty plastic bag The chiles were cold but not frozen Maybe someone needs to speak to the company you use for shipping”

“First time ordering from the Hatch Chile Store. A great experience. I am needing dried chile to take abroad for my NM grown son, since Germany seems to be chililess. Box arrived timely - even sooner than expected. Looking forward to trying it out once we get to Munich.”

“Well wrapped, easy to prepare without any need to thaw: simply steam for 20 minutes and cover w an enchilada sauce. The tamales have a great spice level. Wonderful dinner”

“The products arrived on time. The ice packs were melted but product still cool. Another day and they would have perished. The beef chimichangas need a little more meat in them. The rellenos are good.”

“I have ordered from The Hatch Chile Store for many years and shipped their products to family and friends. Everything is delicious. Right now, I have about 20 jars of red and green Chile sauce and the various salsas, frozen green Chile and red Chile tortillas…love them all!!! Try these great southwest products today!!!”

“Very easy to order, and receive your green chili, right to your front door. This is my second year ordering my green chili. For me, it is much easier to place my order, have it delivered, and it's already peeled, chopped, and sealed to be used for the entire year. Just store it in the freezer, pull out one of the 1 pound bags when your need it, and use it in whatever you are going to be cooking. So easy. From enchiladas to green chili stew, to con queso, or just having it thawed, and spread, on burgers, sandwiches, or snacks. I have done this the old-fashioned way for years, but I have discovered that this is the way to go. Not as cheap as the old-fashioned way, but after all the years of dealing with the green chili season, I MUCH PREFER THIS ROUTE. VERY EASY PEEZY. I recommend.”

“I am originally from Texas. Many years ago, my husband and I drove to New Mexico every fall….we bought several paintings in Santa Fe…enjoyed the Opera once or twice, discovered Chimayo and the wonderful Mexican food there and went home with anything Mexican that we could look at or eat. Then his career took us to the East and on to Canada. We loved it all but now have retired and moved back to the U.S. I saw a story in the Epoch Times about Hatch Chilis. I have since ordered the pizza twice, the roasted frozen chilis and assorted things from your store, as well as a pequin rista. Love it all! ,”

“I purchased an edible one-foot ristra from the Hatch Chile Store. The ristra was mailed in very good time and condition. Packaging was appropriate and without unnecessary material. The ristra itself is beautiful with big red hatch chiles. Due to an ongoing problem with FedEx in my neighborhood, my ristra was delivered to the wrong address and resulted in a day delay in getting to my house. Misdeliveries by FedEx are so common the manager of the apartment complex where my packages arrive has my phone number.”

“I ordered 5 pounds of medium green chile, roasted, peeled, and frozen. The shipping was excellent, all the way to Ohio and still very much frozen. So far I made green chile sauce out of one batch and we all liked it. For those who like heat, I would recommend the hot. However, I grew up in New Mexico and got used to very hot food a long time ago. For those who are not used to the heat, the medium will give them some bite still. Thanks for the good food Hatch Chile Store!”
