“We've been using tyhe Hatch Chile store for several years. I'm originally from NM and look forward each year to recieving our shipment and roasting/freeing the year's supply (love the smell of roasting green chile, reminder of home). The company has excellent customer service giving plenty of info on the status of the crops and guidance on when to order. Shipments arrive quickly with the pods in great shape. “I have been purchasing Hatch green chicken chili tamales and chilli rellenos for numerous years. I LOVE them! I purchase these products twice a year. I recommend this company to you. The product arrives frozen and packed, well, dry ice. Excellent company!”

“We have been ordering fresh chili peppers from Hatch for many years. Every shippment has been great until the one received this Year July 2026. Several of the peppers were rotten and a smelly pepper juice at the bottom of the box. I wrote to your customer serviceand was advised they were unable to provide any compentation to this problem. We are very didappointed and will not be reordering any time in the future. Your company has lost our confidence as repreputable company.”

“Hello First let me say the lady on the phone is nice and apologetic, so this doesn't relate to her. I placed an order May 13th and it was supposed to ship the following week. It was shipped in the first week of July, it was shipped late in the week before a holiday weekend and UPS had to discard the rotten food. Now it's August 22nd and I still haven't received any chimichangas. After all this time and patience I think you should compensate me with a triple order of chimichangas. The only reason you have received more than one star is because of the nice lady on the phone, she deserves a raise for being in the middle of this blunder.”

“Ordered several pounds of whole, medium heat green chile. It shipped and arrived quickly, still solidly frozen. The whole chiles are good quality, had been roasted and peeled well, and stored in a resealable pouch. The chiles have mostly been on the mild side, but some have been in the medium range. If you offered chile by variety I would really go for Joe Parker. Considering I'm in the southeastern US & didn't have to do any of the work myself, I feel the price was reasonable. I plan to order again, and again, and ...”

“I received my order of 25 lbs medium chilie late July. I was frequently updated in regard to shipping and arrival times. The chilies were in fantastic condition, I immediately began oven broiling them to blacken the skins. I put the chilies in a zip lock bag to steam as they cool. Next I freeze the chilies in quart bags unpeeled. When thawed the skins very easily slip off! The size and flavor of these chilies are fantastic! The Hatch Chile Store is easy to work with and they provide a reliably high quality product that is not available in my local market.”

“Our family lived in Arizona and used to go to Hatch for the sole purpose of obtaining Chiles from your store. Those chiles became a necessary addition to many family meals. Recently we had to move from the area and found ourselves longing for some delicious chiles. So, for a family gathering (from 3 seperate states) we ordered tamales, salsa and chiles from your store. This addition to our time together quickly became the highlight as it provided us with a taste of home we all had been missing. Thank you for making it possible to order such wonderful memories from you!”
