Good at keeping me informed on when to expect my delivery. Unfortunately rug was nothing like on the web, I've been looking for a grey rug for my new kitchen - it looked grey and is described as such on their website but it was definitely more brown than grey. Cant be bothered with hassle of returning it lucky it goes with the wooden floor in the hallway so will use for there instead!

I am not happy as material on rug wasn't good, and has loose material on it and its not smooth, so not happy overall with rug

Hello Naresh, This is a 100% Wool rug and it is normal for some pilling of the pile when first used. It is important to regulary hoover the rug using the nozzle attachment of a hoover and trim any protruding strands with a sharp pair of scissors. rug was as advertised , order was let down by the carrier, was due 16/3/2015 did not arrive. e mail saying it would be delivered between 3-4 on 17/3/2015 did not arrive Phoned Rugs Seller am on 18/3/2015 rug was delivered 4pm 18/3/2015 Not good service at all

Hello, Nice friendly staff on telephone lines. Sadly, the wrong rug was dispatched to me, (rug was also damaged) and l have waited in on two separate Friday's where its collection for return, was booked but did not happen. (Also a Monday and a Saturday). Maybe l will have to contact paypal to resolve this problem. Fed up and disappointed.

Ordering and despatch were fine but returns policy atrocious, especially given that items can be large, heavy and expensive. Purchased a rug, when placed in situ it does not work. To return it I have to research and find a carrier to get it back for a refund. Other mail order companies offer a collection for return at a nominal fee by the carrier that delivers. The rug seller should offer this as a minimum given what they are selling - very poor.

The product is fine but the delivery service was diabolical - on the first delivery day I was given an estimated slot but delivery was attempted several hours early, after which I received a text saying my delivery would be with me shortly but no further attempt to deliver was made - then it was dishonestly entered into the system as having been attempted during the given slot. Response from customer service regarding when I might expect delivery after this was grossly inadequate and dismissive. Three days later the driver literally dumped the (very large) rug on my doorstep and walked off without ringing the bell. Unfortunately, I have had a very poor experience of The Rug Seller and UKMail and would not use again (same products available all over the web - take your chances elsewhere!)

Although the products are value for money the after sales service is very poor, I did receive an email saying my order is being processed but that was it,you cannot view the order as their are no other visuals, you are not informed of a delivery date cannot track the order so you can only hope you are in when it does eventually arrive.

My overall rating is poor. Delivery was efficient and communication regarding this was also extremely good. The rug itself was not as expected as it had flaws which make it look like a 'second' NOT the full price rug that I thought I had purchased. I had very good response from JO-Ann when I queried the overall appearance of the rug. She asked me to send her images which I did and she advised that she would ask the warehouse team to check the other rugs in stock and see what they looked like. The answer is that all the rugs have flaws and that is the nature of sisal. HOWEVER, the flaws are in a natural sisal colour where my rug is supposedly taupe. This means the flaws are extremely evident and therefore the overall look of the rug is that it is faulty. Jo-Ann was very efficient and advised that I could return the rug if I so wished but no offer of returns postage was made, or any advice given about how to proceed with returns. I am very disappointed and inevitably if people ask about it I shall have to tell them where I bought it. Despite the fact that this is the fourth rug that I have bought from you I am afraid to say that following this experience it will be the last. May I suggest that if all the sisal rugs have flaws of this nature you show photographs that are a realistic image of what the customer can expect to receive. The current image of the taupe sisal runner that I purchased shows no flaws at all. Phillippa Ryder-Storar

Bought this rug for my daughter who has just moved into her first home, was quite disappointed in the quality, it feels quite thin and rough and reminds me of a cheap bath mat! Delivery and packaging were fine. Just expected more from a specialised company and a relatively expensive purchase.

Rugs ordered on the 6th February, delivery promised for the 9th February, it is now the 13th February and STILL no sign of my rugs. Can't comment on the quality as I am STILL waiting delivery

Entered a Highlands delivery address and was charged the extra £15 delivery charge and rug was then sent to my billing address anyway

Web site failed but took my money calls made were not returned and then they didn,t have stock which arrived a week later and left outside. Very poor!

I purchased my rug and laid it out in my new home mid Dec 2014. since then it has shed large amount of thread everyday onto the surrounding carpet. this cannot be vaccumed as it damages the roller, I therefore have to get on my knees to pick up by hand the threads. This is not acceptable and I am still waiting for a resolution to the problem.

Although the staff who are dealing with my issue are very courteous and helpful.... My rug has been 'lost' by their couriers and never arrived. I have been chasing for several days now and still no idea where it is or when I will get it!

We'd wanted a non-slip rug to go over our kitchen carpet and the rug I purchased from the Rug Seller slips, even with underlay. It's doing a turn elsewhere, but I've been disappointed and wouldn't recommend this kind of rug to other prospective buyers, wanting it for a similar purpose. Another small detail: I was sent a long e-mail about unpacking the rug, flattening it out and removing odours. None of this was relevant to the rug I bought and I felt the mail was over-fussy. A case of the seller trying to cover themselves against any potential complaints? I don't know, but in any case this message was completely irrelevant for this rug. Delivery time was average, but, again annoyingly, I waited in one day, since I was informed the courier would be coming then. They didn't … and the rug arrived a day later.

Paid extra for Saturday delivery which failed to happen. delivery rebooked for weekday. I had to take time off work to await delivery. Saturday delivery charge was refunded but no other compensation. Rug Seller did not admit responsibility but blamed courier company for the error.

Disappointed with purchase because the rug turned out to be ultra thin and featherweight with hardly any wool in it and it wasn't cheap. Although the rug did have minor defects with 2 knots in backing we decided to keep it because we would have to pay postage to send it back .

We ordered our Rug online. Had to chase them twice to get a status update on the Rug as I didn't receive any email notification on what's happening with the order. Also the delivery company they use was beyond terrible and I ended up having to pick up the rug from a depot myself. Not sure if I will be recommending or using them again.

The courier company you use failed to deliver on two separate occasion's meaning I was left waiting in for nothing. The rug is fine though.
