Far too small for the price paid could have purchased same for cheaper in a bigger size

Carpet arrived only after I telephoned to find out the delivery date twice but still having to wait another month for the other carpet which I have ordered. Was told they would call with date of delivery but just arrived good job someone was at home.Already taken our money from the bank account. Must say thou the carpet is lovely but the customer relation/communication poor

I ordered the wrong size, I e mailed the rugsellar, haven't had a reply, my son opened the rug when I was at work, and disposed of the packing, so I've been left with a rug I don't want so not a good experience :(

Rug not up to expectations , short edges of runner show backing as folded over and not edged like the sides

Hello Jane, The Murat collection is machine woven on wilton looms and it is normal to have whipping along the length. The ends are folded and glued to provide additional structure and strength, this helps to avoid curling of the edges. We recently ordered and received a rug. We opened it on Sunday,I believe it arrived on Thursday or Friday afternoon ,it was left by our front door. Since we did not sign for it I have no record of exactly when it arrived. We asked for a refund on Sunday as soon as we opened it,the colour was very different to what we expected. So far have heard nothing. It is now Wednesday!!

Order handling and delivery was fast & efficient, however the rugs received each had surface flaws. The larger blue one had 3 beige ends protruding through the blue to the top surface and the beige rug also had one similar flaw. However as I just required them for my Beach Hut I chose not to return them as they are large heavy items. I do feel your inspection of these rugs should be investigated as I would not have accepted them if they were for my home. I would have regarded them as seconds but not priced or sold as seconds. Unfortunately the first rug I ordered looked nothing like the on line picture. Very disappointed that i had to pay for courier return despite I contacting company and explaining this whilst also stating I had ordered a replacement (which cost twice as much) and did not get a response! I am still waiting for my second order 8 days after I placed the order! Don't think I will be using company again!

We recieved our wool rug within 7 days. It was well packaged and when unpacked looked as it did on the website with a true likeness for colour. The quality of the rug is great and we are very happy with our purchase. I am always wary of buying things like this online but we would definately use this site again!

The delivery lets this company down. Despite confirming that the courier was to call me before he delivered my rug, I came home to find the rug propped up against my front door. No phone call, no paperwork or calling card and so I don't even know who the couriers are, and so not signed for. The website states all items must be signed for or a card will be left to arrange re-delivery. Anyone could have taken the rug from where it had been left or I could have just told them that it hadn't been delivered as there is no proof of delivery. This is the second time this has happened, and whilst the quality of the rugs are good, it could be a bit hit and miss whether you get your rug at all. Because of this, I doubt if I will use them again.

Hello Carol, I am sorry to hear of the problems experienced with the courier service. All deliveries should be signed for my the delivery address or a neighbour unless we receive instructions to leave a parcel in a safe place. I will be speaking with them to ensure there is no repeat of this. wrong size wrong colour sent- told to return for exchange, courier more expensive than the rug!!! lesson learnt IKEA-JOHN LEWIS sorry i didn't get my rug with you.

I ordered a rug which in all fairness came within two days. I was very disappointed with the quality as it had a fault where the colour of one yarn bled over into a contrasting colour. However, I contacted The Rug Seller and it was agreed that they would accept the return. I was requested to use a national carrier, which I did that cost in excess of £12.00 and I was alerted by them that the rug had been safely returned. I am presently awaiting The Rug Seller to contact me that my refund has been completed by them.

I received the rug seller's rug - retro insignia (charcoal), very pleased with the quick delivery but as you described the rug as charcoal and on the website looked dark grey with charcoal words on it, Unfortunately it was brown and beige and does not go with the décor of my bedroom. Very pleased with the quality of the rug unfortunately It will cost me to much money to send the rug back to you, so I will have to see if I can sell it, My advice to the Rug Seller is to describe the colours as brown/beige with charcoal writing on the rug.

I called up with a query over a delivery mail. The customer service manager was condescending and rude about my comment - so I asked for a call back from the complaints department (actually wrote in, as per her instructions because she told me that 'she was the manager and that was the only way to complain'). But as yet, a week later I've had no feed back. I have no problem with the rugs but I wouldn't buy from the rug seller again thanks to lack of customer service.

very light weight and so it moves constantly on the floor, slides everywhere when dogs walk over it. Does not have a backing to it so scratches the Karndean flooring. I don't think this will last very long - disappointed with the quality - far superior quality rugs available for same price. Delivery charge was unacceptable.

Having ordered 2 rugs of the same design, one came with a different design. These things happen! I attempted to contact them with 3 e-mails via their website and 2 telephone messages over the next week and did not hear anything back. I then made a dispute with paypal and within hours they were dealing with my problem. After being told that I would be called back on my mobile they called my office and left a message, so I had to call them - again. They offered to replace and collect the item, but I had to stay in all day as they could not give a time for the collection/replacement - who can stay in all day waiting for a rug?

the rug itself it fine but it is very difficult to get delivery information and the courier used is very poor - no information, delayed deliveries and unhelpful. Made a perfectly good experience with the rugseller into a poor one
