Beware of payment taken and retained despite cancellation. On 28 March 2019 I ordered a phone from TobyDeals AU on the basis it was in stock. I had not received a confirmation email or a tracking number as promised and asked about the status of the order on 1 April 2019. I did not receive a reply. I asked again about the status of the order on 2 April 2019. On 3 April 2019.TobyDeals AU said they had sold out and to bear with us or advise if you want to cancel the order. I cancelled the order on 6 April 2019. On 7 April 2019 I followed up saying my order should be cancelled and a refund issued. I then received notification that the order had been dispatched. On 8 April I stated that this should not have been dispatched and had cancelled my order days ago. I am currently disputing the payment taken and retained by TobyDeals AU.

Ordered product never arrived!!! NO REFUND NO REPLACEMENT !!! I have bought Samsung Micro Sd card £50.99 on TobyDeals website. Ordered product never arrived. After nearly 2 months of me insisting on TobyDeals to address my enquiry, they decided that my parcel was lost during transit. According to their policy I am not in title to Refund or Replacement. They offered me £10 as compensation for the lost package. Extremely unreliable and dishonest company so be aware. I will definitely never use them again for obvious reasons

I purchased an electrtonic item from TobyDealsAU, and when the item was shipped to me it was sent with international power adapters. The listing made no reference that the item wasn't Australian, and the name of the company itself, is misleading, that it is an Australian company. This company is based in HONG KONG, and if you purchase anything from this company, be aware that you may be getting items from overseas. I attempted to have my item refunded, which they agreed to do, biut I was left to spend $70 to post it BACK TO HONG KONG! At the end of the day, I was out of pocket $70 and had nothing to show for it. TobydealsAU was not willing to accept responsibility for being deceptive in their sales process, and were not willing to foot the cost of return shipping. Purchase at your own risk.

I wish I'd checked out reviews before ordering from them. I ordered a Google Chromecast Ultra. This is a UK website, and paid in GBP. What was ordered was a US model with an adapter (which is, in fact, illegal to sell in the UK under the Plugs and Sockets Safety Regulations 1994). Their attitude is to raise an RMA, and make you pay for postage to Hong Kong and a potential £50 restocking fee! I refuse to do so and will raise the case with PayPal and (should they fail) my credit card company - I would advise anyone already having fallen foul of TobyDeals to do the same. Update: PayPal refused my claim but American Express allowed it - I suspect partly because I sent them pictures of the warranty statement which stated it only covered US purchase. I would strongly advise anyone who has fallen foul of TobyDeals' illegal sale of non-UK socketed equipment to raise a case with their credit card company, with pictures showing any warranty rendered not applicable and writing the Sale of Goods Act and the Plugs and Sockets Safety Regulations 1994.

I bought my Xiaomi note 7 a little over a week ago and after I paid I panicked that I had just been scammed after reading all the negative reviews. The communication has been great and I received a phone on time and it works fine. I would definitely use them again.

Bought a Canon long shot IS lens from Toby Deals, ordered Friday delivered following Thursday. Brilliant service with DHL tracking system. Paid by Pay Pal and cost was less than half price than that of a well known high street dealer. Will use them again. J.C. Somerset.

I ordered a Samsung galaxy Rose Gold watch from Toby Deals thinking it was a UK based company, so when I realised it was from Hong Kong I started to worry, and then some of the reviews I read weren't great! I ordered late 20th March and received today 28th March. So within the 7 working days. Didn't get an email till the day before it was delivered though other than the day after I ordered to say it had been despatched. The watch is FAB. And saved myself £100. Genuine, in a sealed box. The plug is not UK but they provide an adaptor, which isn't an issue anyway. So all in all a great service and a great product.  Would order from them again.

The TOBYDEAS.CO.UK web site suggests the company is a UK company and the item are delivered from the UK. It does not state the products are imported from Hong Kong / China. The product has a US style plug. The manufacturers warranty is not applicable in the UK (I telephoned then to register). The product does not have a CE mark so should not be sold in the UK. Delivery time was very long. Standard shipping back to China is not allowed due to the batteries built into the product. Very poor communications

After reading several reviews, on different forums, I was apprehensive about using Toby Deals. The reviews were generally mixed but the bad reviews were very bad! The price difference of the Canon 2000D swung it. £297.99 from Toby Deals vs £359.80 from Amazon. In fact, I had previously decided to go for the 4000D which cost £248.99 from Amazon. When I saw the Toby deals price, I convinced myself to go for the 2000D. This is my first ever order from Toby Deals – I paid through Paypal which also helped me decide to go for it. 14 March – I placed my order I received a welcome email and 2 x ‘Your order is processing’ emails. 14 March – received payment confirmation from Paypal. 18 March – received ‘Your order is being packed and getting Ready to leave our warehouse’. 19 March – received ‘Your order has been dispatched and on the way to you’ email which included a DHL Tracking Number’. This was my last contact from Toby Deals. From then on, my only contact was from DHL via text. The first DHL text, 19 March, said estimated delivery 20 March and provided a link to DHL where I could manage the order – change delivery date, delivery preferences (DHL Service Point, leave in safe place or with neighbour) etc. Using the DHL Tracking Number (from Toby Deals email), which linked to DHL website, I tracked my parcel from Hong Kong - Leipzig (Germany) – East Midlands (UK) - Southampton My parcel arrived Thursday 21 March 2019. I was out so DHL delivered to my neighbour (I had not left them instructions to do that!) I found this out by regularly checking on the tracker. They don’t have the speed or efficiency of Amazon but I think 7 days from Hong Kong is pretty good! I would definitely use Toby Deals again!
