I called first to ask questions about the trip as it is my first. After booking you need to fill out you passport info and once accepted you are on your way. It was easy. You pick the options you want to take when booking and it is done.

The form to fill out to book the tour was clear and prompted me to recheck some info I overlooked. The process was quick. Hopefully all goes smoothly getting to London and experiencing the tour.

The booking was easy and there were plenty of options. The only negative is the level of English that some of the tour descriptions have been written.

They offer so many tour options, only thing I didn't like or care for was the waiting period for booking to be approved. They promised 48 hours but it was longer than that, and I never understood what the hold up could be.

As guidance, we and the tour operator advise that bookings may take 2-4 business days to confirm. However, unfortunately, tour operators may encounter slightly longer delays in awaiting confirmation of the services provided by their suppliers, such as hotels. They may also require further information from travelers in order to ensure these are correctly confirmed according to travelers' needs. Well it might have been the internet connection but my travel companion and I wanted to pay separately but when she tried to use PayPal she couldn’t. I’m currently trying to find out trip confirmation and booking to look at the itinerary and I can’t find it. Again, possibly user error. We can’t wait for the tour in August— the tour looks great!

I was fully satisfied with the booking process, except that there was a price jump between what I was quoted in November 2019 to what I actually had to pay when I booked in January 2020.

To clarify, pricing for tours is dynamic, meaning they fluctuate depending on the season, because of sale periods, and so on. It seems your tour operator changed the pricing for your departure and it can be hard for us to predict when this might happen since we do not set the pricing for tours. Generally, the service was excellent, but the expected turnaround for booking confirmation was longer than expected (1 week, instead of 2 days). I was updated that still in progress after the 2 days. We are very much looking forward to the trip.

I call to book, as it is usually for myself and a friend that lives abroad, so I deal with the sometimes tedious "on-hold" music/info/wait times. It is hard, if not impossible, to ever talk to the same person with whom you've spoken before if you have follow-up questions or concerns. The same goes with when you email your questions. However, that being said, it is simple to sort out what they offer and what the itinerary is. What can be hard is to sort out what the optional tours that the underlying tour organizer is actually offering as far as the timing goes (fitting in with the included parts) so it's sometimes better to wait until you are there to better understand that part. So bring extra cash if you plan extra excursions NOT on the itinerary.

The good. The tour search engine is fantastic. There appears to be a small discount by booking via Tour Radar opposed to booking directly from the operator. According to Terms and Conditions, and assuming I read it correctly, your money are not paid to the tour provider until you are physically on the tour. Extra protection never hurts. It is likely that companies that advertise on Tour Radar are vetted to be somewhat reliable and offering basic quality at least. The payment system is flexible and done in local currency. Partial refunds. Full amount is taken closer to the tour date. The bad. Unable to find cheap 1- and 2-day tours from a listed operator. Has to go to the provider website directly. If booking multiple tours re-typing passport details, insurance details, emergency contact details, etc. for each booking is not fun.

Booking was easy and got confirmation straight away. The operator also responded very quickly. The only issue was the deposit paid did not reflect in the voucher from the operator. May be it took time for Tour Radar to pass the deposit to the operator. Still waiting for more updated information from the operator.
