“It’s great to have a company like tourradar that works with different tour operators. It’s very convenient. I had a great experience with tourradar. I was selecting a group tour, felt very overwhelmed by the selection and felt completely lost. A tourradar agent helped me understand the differences between various tour operators and to narrow down the choices. So far, I’m happy with the service.”

“I have few questions regarding Italy Bellissimo 2019 by Trafalgar and I spoke to one of the agents. She's very helpful and friendly. I booked the trip already and the black friday discount was an extra bonus that I appreciate.”

“The website was easy to use and gave good comparisons of tours. Unfortunately, there were some additional costs that was not mentioned from the onset because the tour was booked for a single person (it should have indicated that the advertised price is only per person sharing). There was also an amount taken from my account before the booking was even confirmed, even though the booking response indicated that there would be no debit/transaction before the tour was not confirmed- this was a bit confusing. This tour ended up costing a third more than it should have according to advertised prices.”

Hello Linda, Thank you for your feedback. You're absolutely correct, that some of our operators impose a mandatory single supplement for solo travellers on their tours. While we understand this is usually disappointing for solo travellers, this is the case for many reasons, including but not limited to your comfort on tour as a solo traveller in local accommodations. The industry standard for advertised tour prices is per person in twin share accommodation and where a 'pairing' option is not available to solo travellers, it's outlined on the dedicated tour page on TourRadar.com. We'll be looking at the specific tour you booked to make sure this is made clear. Regarding the money being taken from your account, this is something we take very seriously. At the point you submit a booking request, the funds required to book your selected tour are put on hold or pre-authorised, which is a standard process for online (and some offline) purchases. We are aware, however, that not all banks differentiate between these two payment 'states' on their bank statements. Unfortunately, this is something we are unable to change. “I am impressed with the prices that TourRadar offers. On both the trip I just booked and the one I went on earlier this year, it was cheaper than on the tour company's own website. When I called the tour company, they recommended to book through TourRadar, as they could not match it if I booked directly. I am confused about one thing though. When I booked the last trip I received $46.66 in credit toward a future trip, but did not see any place on the website to apply this credit. I did receive an added Member Discount or could have entered a Coupon Code, which I do not have. So I wonder if the Coupon Code relates to the travel credit?”

Hi Danny, Thanks for your review! We're glad you're enjoying the TourRadar value provided to all of our travellers! Your travel credits can be applied on the booking page, but they are not combinable with Member's savings or promo codes. So, depending on the deals we have available when you book, if the savings on offer are greater than your accumulated credits (like our awesome Black Friday deals!), then it may be wise to book with the current promo and collect your Travel credits for a future booking - the choice is yours! If you're ready to apply your credits to your next booking, simply login to your TourRadar account before booking your tour and apply your travel credits just above the payment section of the booking page. It's as easy as that!
