Tried twice, first time Mustang convertible in Miami and car was wrecked and filthy... Second time tried a Tesla in Tampa and had a HORRIBLE PUKE SMELL, BAD VIBRATION AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, and had almost no charge... Turo doesn't care and won't help. Never use this company!

Hello everyone! I do like like to leave negative feedback but I do not have a choice. I rented a full size van through Turo from July 19th to July 23rd. I told to them that I need a car for wedding event which is 250miles from my house. It was 8 of us plus lot of luggage. July 21st I realized gasoline tank was leaking. I called immediately to Turo and inform them about this situation. They sent someone from Towing company and took a van, and told me to call to the other rental company and take whatever that have it, and they would reimburse me money. I am still trying to to get me money back. But all the time some representatives from call center looking for excuses. I asked to to speak with the manager, and they told to me that manager do not answer on a phone. Turo put my family in danger situation, they promised to reimburse my expenses. Nothing happened. I would not recommend this company at all. It was my worst experience in my life with rental company. Edward Kim

When Turo sent my host earnings to someone else’s account. When I showed them this they said it was my fault. All my earnings were shifted to someone else. You can not speak to fraud dept to discuss only emails that are sent denying wrong doing. I used the same bank since day one. Did nothing to remedy the situation.

Adam W. in Phoenix waited until I submitted a 5 star review on him 24 hrs plus after dropping off car; and then (after the review is posted) he tries to stick me with damage to his car; which photos proved were there when it was picked up. I'd pull that review in a second if I had the chance. Renter beware of Adam W. In Arizona!

Will not ever use Turo again. I have used them before and things went very smooth and were easy. However, we used Turo in Omaha and had told the owner when our flight landed and was taking off, apparently we needed to change this time with turo but no one told us and the owner knew what was happening. turo then charged us an additional $100 for this stupid technicality of an hour of time. In addition to that we gave the owner a large convenience by shuttling to the airport which allowed them to pick up the car at a hotel not at the airport...no concession anywhere for this concession on our part. I appealed the decision and they denied it. I also cannot leave a bad review because the decision on appeal occurred after the time window for the review. I am sure Turo does this to prevent a bad review when one is clearly warranted. They lost a customer for life and I will only say bad things about them to anyone asking about Turo.

Greedy company. Been an all star and power host with Turo. Once they hook you in, they keep their host as prisoners. They charge a ton of hidden fees and create hostility between guest and host. Host are just pawns to make money for turo, while taking all the risk. I have no doubt this will turn into a huge lawsuit before it’s said and done.

My first time renting with Turo will be my last. If you’re in need of a large vehicle, I would suggest you stay clear of David Zario’s White 2020 Dodge Durango in Pittsburgh,Ca. He’s using Turo as a means to get people to pay for his renovations on his home by submitting false claims for damages that were clearly taken after the fact. He will rent you his vehicle and wait a day later to claim that you damaged his vehicle. Save yourself a headache and money. Rent elsewhere.

I have only used Turo once but never again. I had a very bad experience with one of the hosts (their fancy name for the car owner) and I asked customer service to remove my account from their site. The host had tried to extort an additional £15 for washing their car after I had returned this one day rental, exactly as I had found it. The host wrote a negative review because I said I would not pay. When I complained to Turo they said that they would look into it, but this was not necessary as payment should only be made to them and not the host directly. I was sufficiently unimpressed with the whole Turo lack of empathy I asked for my account to be closed. Initially they said this would take only 1-2 days. After that time has passed, I called again and they said if I chose to get an update on my situation they would be forced to start reviewing my account all over again. It has now been 2 weeks since I ask ed them to remove my account I. don't owe them any money but merely don't want my name associated with their appalling customer service. What a shabby company and how little they care about customer feedback. Use them at your own peril.

Scam. Had me driving around for half an hour downtown Waikiki looking for parking when I was done my trip. A cyclist scraped the front bumper at a light and they want 7k USD to repair. Stay away from this company.

Booked 24 hrs in advance. Took an Uber to the hosts location. Host was not home. Tried to cancel the reservation but there’s a 30-minute grace period before Turo will take action. So I sat on the sidewalk for 30-minutes waiting. Terrible policy & bad business. Zero stars.

They sent me a discount coupon to try them for $50 off. When I went to book it the next day, the coupon did not work. Cannot get any help from support. Just a stupid Chatbot that goes around in circles. Never get you a person to resolve anything. I am uninstalling turo app and going back to rental car companies.

Getting SCAMMED ON TURO. . I’m an all star host. Noticed me bank information was changed after I had an issue WITH TURO. All my money around $4000 was diverted to someone else’s account. They could care less. Won’t give me information were my money is going to. Said escalded and just ignored me. Service people say to bad. Pretty easy won’t say where money was sent. Pretty easy request.My only Income retired. Turo cares less. Internal scaN.

I will never use Turo again. I selected the $500 deductible, never expecting to need it. I was rear-ended as I exited a freeway. The other driver was completely at fault as he hit me while I was yielding to oncoming traffic. This occured Feb 27th. Today is July 1st and Turo is still refusing to refund the $500 they charged my debit card, a card I HAD NOT USED WITH THEM. Their claim is that even though I provided the receipt from the other driver's insurance showing paid to the host (copy provided over a month ago and payment was made in March), they haven't verified it was paid. And I may be liable to pay any difference if MY insurance doesn't pay. NEVER AGAIN! I loved the host. He was amazing - more concerned about our safety and well being than the damage to his vehicle. It's TURO that's the problem. ​​​​​​​​​​

Old car was very uncomfortable to drive. Lights and dashboard alerts did not work properly. The car jerked when changing gears. Was slow to accelerate. I was accused of smoking from burning incense in the car as air freshener. I communicated this to the host but he left a negative review for me anyway. I was charged almost triple the rental fee.

A renter returned my vehicle damaged, instead of following their contract and fixing the car, Turo canceled my account and refused to repair the vehicle. Now I am left with a damaged vehicle with no means of repair and no help from Turo. Horrible company and service to the people who make their profits possible.

My granny 85 yrs old ... we returned car two days early...and host said granny burned the seat with a cigarette... the spot was so small had to blow it up .. to see .. the location of the spot was hip area.. tried to hit her card for 1500 dollars..turo was ok with this ..even with proof of the car pictures ...turo tried and the host lied ... Had to call bank ... who she has banked with since 1989 .. EASY FIX FOR THEM ...TURO TRASH ..AND THE HOST IS A LYING ASS ...PUNK ...

This is related to one of the incidents when I rented my vehicle for a US trip from Canada. The worst company to rent a car from. Their specialized team investigating cases conducts fraud and makes money. Without even a proper case resolution about the danages, they were so eager to charge my credit card. Upon asking for actual receipt of how my money was used, they denied saying that it is the host's responsibility as per their terms. It is everyone's right to get the actual copy of the invoice but this company foolishly works on estimates which are clearly an indication of fraud. I am seriously wondering if they are really into Money Laundering activity as actual invoice would be needed to show the source of income however by not producing the actual invoice - it is a matter of deep concern. I had requested the copy of actual invoice several times but they didn't help. The management of this company should be punished for fraud activities. Also, it will be a nice experience for the specialized team to investigate the Money Laundering and fraud case for their own management. Will never rent again from Turo and I would request everyone to not to engage with this shameful, fraudulent company for any rentals if you are really concerned about your hard earned money. They are big cheats. Even if they have made money from me through fraudalent activity, they won't go far. Don't even deserve 1 star. I am posting this review so others are careful and do not fall in their trap. Avoid this company at all costs.

Been waiting for a call back from a “supervisor” for one day already. Contacted them via chat and phone 4 times, no solution for 4 issues with my active reservation. The worst customer support I have experienced in years. Complete joke of a support staff, outsourced to some asian country. Unbelievable. They only lie to you to buy time while everything gets worse. Never using Turo again.
