Disgusted/fuming. New mattress delivered to me from ARGOS..Iam 60 and disabled. Two big men told me THEY CANNOT TAKE MATTRESS UPSTAIRS!!!! Health and safety was excuse. I now have no access to front door as it was dumped there. ??Safety issue for me I think!!. Now have ring round to find TWO people to move it upstairs..If I find someone on Friday night...not likely and at what cost?? Will sleep on sofa till I do...Where is a mattress supposed to go??? Black Friday...more like black everyday. This company's service is ridiculous. I received the wrong item repeatedly then returned them following their returns procedure and still have not received a refund. Despite speaking to several members of staff and emailing it has been over a month. They are quick enough to take your money. Will not use Argos in the future.

I went to the store im emersons green and the fast track system is terrible. I queued for ages at the fast track till and then when i got to the front i was then told fast trsck customers are queuing at customer service which i had tp join the back of the queue and wait for ages. Then when it was the person on front of me turn he was asked to go to the fast track till and people started queueing behind him which meant i nearly lost my place. I was then served and my order was not ready which meant more waiting. I did not even get an apology from any of the staff. There was nothing fast about fast track and i will definitely not be doing it again!

Absolutely rubbish! I bought insurance for my puppy and I haven't recievrd any documents or proof of my insurance off of them and it's almost been a year!, I've had no policy number or anything! Will not recommended ! In fact I will do my hardest to put anyone I know off buying pet insurance from argos!

I orders Andrew Barton heated rollers and I received Tresemme! Not only that the box was not sealed and there was no delivery note. I rung customer services and was in hold for 20 mins and probably cost me a fortune! But I must say the man was very helpful. He arranged a collection for two days time and for the correct product to be sent and even refunded me my the delivery cost. But overall for Argos I definitely won't be using them again!!!

Order created on the second of October 2014 for replacement of faulty goods sold by them. Was given delivery/collection date of the 22nd November. Just received call today stating can't deliver on this day but would re-schedule delivery for the 30th December. So three months to replace item's sold that are unfit for purpose. Then they had the cheek to asked if I would like to cancel the collection for the 22nd. So they can't deliver order's but then expect you to sit on the floor until they decide to deliver. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Buyers of furniture beware..

Argos staff take great pride in being willfully ignorant of any of their current offers or discounts, and give customers a hell of time at the checkouts if you try to ask for one of them. They also have little or no knowledge of the products they sell, or do not wish to disclose any of this information to customers. And they absolutely won't let you say a single bad word about their staff or their products on their own website reviews page if you do eventually tolerate all the aggravation you get trying to buy something, and make a purchase.

pre-ordered a game (a month before release) they took my money and then they cancelled my order without notice (don't know when because they still kept my cash), and they reordered it after the released date without telling me (found out when rang up to find where it was day after release) so asked for refund and bought from another store.

Terrible service, I have ordered an Ipad mini a week ago and still not here! Been on the phone trying to find it's whereabout's for the last hour and given up trying to get through. I run my own internet company and would not have a business if I treated my customers this way! They have my money and I have no idea when I will receive my goods. Lesson learnt...never ever buy from Argos, they have not got a clue!

Hi...bought 9ct photo pendant.....99.99 pounds....got and omg...the quality is atrocious I have paper in the house which is thicker...there saying can't get money back as the pendant has a picture...but just can't except that....so will go back...and tell them its a disgrace..have to take that product off the catalogue. Not right just conning ppl....should be ashamed of themselves...

Ordered some items online and asked for a call back to arrange delivery. This never happened and I was given a delivery date about six weeks away (it said delivered in 8 days when I ordered it). I have tried calling them and so far have spent over four hours on the phone waiting for them to answer. I decided just to cancel the items but have to do this via their "Customer services". So, I emailed them to cancel but there has been no confirmation there either. Apparently they value my custom... YEAH RIGHT!!! I won't be buying anything from them again.

Every single time I try to purchase something it is NEVER in stock in any store within at least a 30 mile radius. I'm not even exaggerating, no matter what item I want they don't have. Just tried the website and it can't cope with the current traffic, which at 22:45 on a Monday night I can't imagine is that much. If any of Argos senior management read this, please please sort your act out as you are quite simply the WORST company for reliability I have ever dealt with!

Ordered 2 lap tops separately , took my payment both times but goods not ordered. 2 days on phone to sort this out. Now today tried to order the lap top again and guess what took my payment out but still not ordered , spoke to someone from customer service and they tell me I have to wait twenty four hours for them to sort it. Fuming is not the word a waste of my time, and for the money just to go out is a disgrace , will never use this website again what a joke!!!!!!

I ordered a bed through Argos to be delivered, let me pay for it and expected a delivery in a week, got a call from them the day before to say there is a problem at there suppliers and it will be another month. Duely waited a month, then got called to say the bed will not be delivered as they don't make them anymore, refused a refund, so we oredered a different bed, they cancelled delivery again, then sent it to the wrong address , then called to say that it will 've delivered in a month! Now we have cancelled our order and they are going to offer us vouchers as a refund with a company that we never want to deal with EVER again. Absolute jokers!

A PATHETIC ON LINE SERVICE. Wishing to buy an item just under a £100 was informed by my local shop in Barnstaple it could only be bought on line. Proceeded to do this and paid for same via debit card. Received a confirmation of the order stating date and time (between 8am to 7pm!!) of delivery to home address. No show of delivery on the day despite having stayed at home waiting for same. No communication provision by Argos should this happen so visited local store next day for help. Local store apologetic and most helpful. Telephone call then revealed that Argos had no stock of the item but due to a 'gltch' had taken my payment and confirmed the order with a date and time of delivery - yet had no stock!! Then to add insult to the injury stated via the young lady in our local store no refund would be forthcoming for another seven days. should This refund not be made my next step will be LEGAL I was not in the least irate with out local store staff but many people are and would be which is very unfair to front-line staff due to an incompetent on-line service. Thank goodness for John Lewis who know how to run an efficient on-line service!.

I would never use argos again. They mess you around with your deliveries . You pay for something and they treat you like your lucky if you get it or not. Their customer service is ah coming they could not care less.

Ordered an item which I was not happy with. Picked up by courier 3 weeks ago and still not received my refund!!!! Rang them again today and it hadn't been processed even though I rang them before. I was then told it would still take 5-7 working days to refund me!!!! Absolutely pathetic and to make it worse they said it took that long because of the system my bank uses.............lies, lies lies!!!! Will never buy anything from Argos again.

I bought some beats on the 14/9/13 they have recently gone faulty Itook the to the shop today and I was told that they were fake I only have one set of them and don't understand how I could have been sold them. I have the guarantee and the box and the name of the person who served me in the westmorland shopping centre kendal at 10:47 am on the 14/9/13, Iam not happy and the lady in Argos today wasn't helpful at all and if this isn't sorted out I WILL TELL THE PRESS AND WATCH DOG AND IF NEED BE I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION.

I specifically wanted an iron with a stainless steel soleplate. I chose a Russell Hobbs one for £29.99. When I brought it home, realised it was a different model with a ceramic soleplate. Took it back next day with the receipt. To my surprise they declined to accept the iron even though I hadn't used it. Apparently there was a warning on the screen to the effect that product may be slightly different, which I should have noticed. Steel to ceramic is not a slight difference nor is the warning anything like noticeable unless you are looking for it. They also refused it because the cable ties were missing. The product would appear to have been returned before because there were water marks on the soleplate. Lastly the assistant and supervisor were in a very indifferent attitude with no comprehension that Argos may be more than just a little bit to blame. The store was at Hempstead, Gillingham and I will never, ever shop there again no matter how inconvenient. This will cost Argos a lot more than 30quid.
