We ordered a fridge freezer from them and what attracted me over other companies was the express delivery. We are a large family managing without one of our main appliances. Phoned to arrange delivery but could not delivery on day I was at home express delivery is just a way of attracting you to buy from them. I am still waiting for my item it will be delivered 10 days after we ordered. They blame delivery department. Take some responsibility Argos !!! Very disappointed

Very bad customer service. Have cancelled order now after waiting 6 weeks. I would personally avoid and shop elsewhere.

Went to Argos in Leighton Buzzard on 15th April and ordered and paid for a Bush fridge freezer. Paid for delivery and collection of old appliance. They gave me a delivery date of 28th April between 7am and noon. Got a text message from Argos on Sunday 26th telling me to ensure my old appliance was empty defrosted and disconnected. Had a local builder come and remove two kitchen cabinets and a piece of worktop and remove the old fridge freezer ready for collection. Argos never turned up so I rang them....they said it wouldn't be with me until Friday 1st May !! They forgot to let me know !!! In the meantime I have a half demolished kitchen three bags of food going off and having to do a seven mile round trip every day to do shopping. If I want to cancel it will take them 7 days before I get my refund so my only choice is Hobsons. I'm almost in tears over this ..... saying sorry is polite it is no replacement for customer service. Argos should be ashamed of themselves.....they should not be selling products from manufacturers that can't deliver.

I placed an order one month ago. The goods were supposed to delivered one month later. few days ago I start receiving calls from Argos that first one of the item could not be delivered for a month. I replaced the item with another one (not to wait for a month) but that was not all. The other item which was supposed to be delivered tomorrow for some reason could not be delivered again for a month. So I have decided to cancel the order completely! Very disappointed!!!!!

Gutted!!! I ordered a washing machine on the 14th April and waited for notification of delivery...and waited...and waited....The order tracking system didn't give me any information when I entered my order number so this morning-22nd April I managed to get through to a nice lady at our local store who put me onto 'expert telebooking' Nothing had been forwarded to them & I was told a manager would ring me back-which she didn't! I then rang a freephone number & the man told me there had been none in stock. Why wasn't I told this so I could decide whether I wanted to wait this long? Eventually he said next delivery would be on the 8th of MAY!!!!! I told him to keep his washing machine & give me my money back ! Won't be using Argos again. B Tunbridge

The most awful customer service, delivery service, warehouse management the whole thing!!!! Ordered wardrobe for my son to be delivered on Saturday because me and my husband work full time and weekend is the only time we can get household chores get done. It arrived just half part set as one of two said on the box, for the rest of the second part of wardrobe we had struggle over the phone with Argos customer service like absolute hell, as the same day they again deliver wrong item box. Also they hidden the fact that part 2 item they could not deliver because it was damage we found this fact out during several phone conversation with customer service. Eventually the box 2 arrived Sunday morning in minicab with £20 gift card. We vowed never order any furniture from Argos ever again.

Delivery of £250 camera lens failed to arrive on two promised times, they finally delivered it to a "neighbour" which was given to a person called "ZIKI" in a communal entrance of a block of 50 flats. Now most likely long gone! Absolutely appalling customers services!

I've just been to the North Finchley shop to either exchange or return an item I bought as part of the 2 for £15 offer on toys. I waied in a queue to ask if I could either exchange or return the item and a lady told me that I could return. I asked her if I would get half of the £15 or not, considering each item separately costs £10. She assured me I would get £7.50 and wrote on my recept £7.50 cash back, but asked me to go to another queue to get it. I then waited in another big queue for a long time as the shop was very busy to be told I wouldn't get £7.50, but only £5. I am very annoyed as I believe that the shop should have trained the staff beter, so I wouldn't have waited in two queues to be told 2 different things. If the first lady had told me in the first instance that I would have been better off exchanging the item instead of not getting the full £7.50 I would have been more than happy doing that. It's not about the money I am complaining about, but about me wasting my time to get told two different things. I believe Argos had seen better days.

Bathroom furniture ordered which arrived damaged. Hole in box had been covered by Argos label. Was replaced free of charge but should never have been dispatched in the first place. Can't blame Yodel for this one! Purchased CD player which played once. Was replaced free of charge but had to visit store to get this done which was inconvenient and costly (fuel and parking). This was bad enough but today Argos have managed to provide the worst shopping experience I have ever had. A wardrobe which took six weeks to arrive, arrived damaged. Delivery was refused. Contacted 'customer services'. Oh Dear! Unhelpful. Arrogant. Rude. Ignorant and lacking in any sort of customer service skills. It was made quite clear that Argos do NOT value any of their customers and would rather lose them than try to resolve a problem. Replacement was offered but another six weeks wait. As there is every chance that the replacement may well be damaged when it arrives a refund was asked for instead. This will take at least five days. Why? Where I work we can refund instantly and I'm sure if I treated a customer the way that Argos have treated me I would be looking for another job! Looks as though I'm joining the ranks of dissatisfied customers who will NEVER use this awful retailer again. The worst company by far that I've ever had the misfortune to have dealings with.

Absolutely appalling service. We ordered a bed which took two weeks to arrive, when we took off the plastic wrapping we saw it was dirty and one of the drawers were broken. After ringing Argos and speeking to a very rude manager who offerd no apology we have to wait a week for them to come and collect it. Needless to say we won't be buying from Argos again.

I purchased an Argos vacuum cleaner model VU 02, only to find I couldn't order a replacement filter. If you have purchased one of these, filters are available from Spares Crazy

WARNING TO ALL ARGOS CUSTOMERS - THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR £10 PROMOTIONAL GIFT VOUCHER IF YOU USE IT AS PART PAYMENT TO BUY AND RETURN GOODS THAT ARE DAMAGED BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE IN PACKING. (I BOUGHT 2 X EMMA BRIDGEWATER TINS WHICH WERE SENT JUST IN PLASTIC PACKING BAGS WITH NO OTHER PROTECTION AND ARRIVED COMPLETELY DENTED). THEY ARE ALSO OF THE OPINION THAT THEY (AND THEIR SYSTEM) ARE ALWAYS RIGHT AND THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG. I WAS BASICALLY TOLD I WAS LYING DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEIR SYSTEM ACCEPTED MY VOUCHER AND A DISCOUNT CODE AND THEY HAD NO RECORD OF ME USING THE DISCOUNT VOUCHER. DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL PURSUE UNTIL THEY RETURN MY £10 VOUCHER AND POST ON AS MANY WEBSITE REVIEWS AS I CAN.

I bought a Fitbit flex which was on offer for £58.99, they charged me £79.19 and when I queried this they tried to claim that I had bought it when the price was £79.19 and that the price only changed the day after I bought it which is a total LIE. I checked on the website and also the computer system whilst getting the catalogue numbers and both said £58.99. When I called customer service It was never mentioned to me that the price was £79.19 either and she told me just to go into the shop. (I called customer service as I had left the receipt in store) DO NOT TRUST ARGOS AT ALL & WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN.

I will never buy again from Argos. Couple of times I tried to purchase something that was already used by someone else. It looks like when a person returns a faulty product, Argos will try to sell it again. Not a problem Argos, there are other companies providing better service. In shot: Avoid Argos a much as you can.

This company is a joke. They sickened me so much messing with the delivery date I asked for my money back, luckily the coop matched there price and I ordered my dish washer at two in the afternoon and it was delivered by 08.00 the next day

Ordered beds from argos in the Christmas sales which was over 6 weeks, finally delivery day came and no beds... Called customer services who didn't really know what was going on, on one hand they were telling me the beds were just out of stock and on the other they were saying the beds were discontinued. Having finally spoke to a manger it was confirmed the beds were discontinued. The manager I spoke to came across really understanding and sympathetic, he asked me to select alternative bed which I thought was a fair compromise knowable, what I didn't know was he was expecting me to pay the difference in the price which was £210 more then what I originally paid, I couldn't believe this. When I challenged him, he said " have your money back" another shock, obviously my custom means nothing to Argos! I wasn't going to take this lying down so I have emailed their head office it's been 3 days and I haven't even had notification that they have received my compliant... And they still have my money....
