Bathroom furniture ordered which arrived damaged. Hole in box had been covered by Argos label. Was replaced free of charge but should never have been dispatched in the first place. Can't blame Yodel for this one! Purchased CD player which played once. Was replaced free of charge but had to visit store to get this done which was inconvenient and costly (fuel and parking). This was bad enough but today Argos have managed to provide the worst shopping experience I have ever had. A wardrobe which took six weeks to arrive, arrived damaged. Delivery was refused. Contacted 'customer services'. Oh Dear! Unhelpful. Arrogant. Rude. Ignorant and lacking in any sort of customer service skills. It was made quite clear that Argos do NOT value any of their customers and would rather lose them than try to resolve a problem. Replacement was offered but another six weeks wait. As there is every chance that the replacement may well be damaged when it arrives a refund was asked for instead. This will take at least five days. Why? Where I work we can refund instantly and I'm sure if I treated a customer the way that Argos have treated me I would be looking for another job! Looks as though I'm joining the ranks of dissatisfied customers who will NEVER use this awful retailer again. The worst company by far that I've ever had the misfortune to have dealings with.

Absolutely appalling service. We ordered a bed which took two weeks to arrive, when we took off the plastic wrapping we saw it was dirty and one of the drawers were broken. After ringing Argos and speeking to a very rude manager who offerd no apology we have to wait a week for them to come and collect it. Needless to say we won't be buying from Argos again.

I purchased an Argos vacuum cleaner model VU 02, only to find I couldn't order a replacement filter. If you have purchased one of these, filters are available from Spares Crazy

WARNING TO ALL ARGOS CUSTOMERS - THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR £10 PROMOTIONAL GIFT VOUCHER IF YOU USE IT AS PART PAYMENT TO BUY AND RETURN GOODS THAT ARE DAMAGED BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE IN PACKING. (I BOUGHT 2 X EMMA BRIDGEWATER TINS WHICH WERE SENT JUST IN PLASTIC PACKING BAGS WITH NO OTHER PROTECTION AND ARRIVED COMPLETELY DENTED). THEY ARE ALSO OF THE OPINION THAT THEY (AND THEIR SYSTEM) ARE ALWAYS RIGHT AND THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG. I WAS BASICALLY TOLD I WAS LYING DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEIR SYSTEM ACCEPTED MY VOUCHER AND A DISCOUNT CODE AND THEY HAD NO RECORD OF ME USING THE DISCOUNT VOUCHER. DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL PURSUE UNTIL THEY RETURN MY £10 VOUCHER AND POST ON AS MANY WEBSITE REVIEWS AS I CAN.

I bought a Fitbit flex which was on offer for £58.99, they charged me £79.19 and when I queried this they tried to claim that I had bought it when the price was £79.19 and that the price only changed the day after I bought it which is a total LIE. I checked on the website and also the computer system whilst getting the catalogue numbers and both said £58.99. When I called customer service It was never mentioned to me that the price was £79.19 either and she told me just to go into the shop. (I called customer service as I had left the receipt in store) DO NOT TRUST ARGOS AT ALL & WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN.

I will never buy again from Argos. Couple of times I tried to purchase something that was already used by someone else. It looks like when a person returns a faulty product, Argos will try to sell it again. Not a problem Argos, there are other companies providing better service. In shot: Avoid Argos a much as you can.

This company is a joke. They sickened me so much messing with the delivery date I asked for my money back, luckily the coop matched there price and I ordered my dish washer at two in the afternoon and it was delivered by 08.00 the next day

Ordered beds from argos in the Christmas sales which was over 6 weeks, finally delivery day came and no beds... Called customer services who didn't really know what was going on, on one hand they were telling me the beds were just out of stock and on the other they were saying the beds were discontinued. Having finally spoke to a manger it was confirmed the beds were discontinued. The manager I spoke to came across really understanding and sympathetic, he asked me to select alternative bed which I thought was a fair compromise knowable, what I didn't know was he was expecting me to pay the difference in the price which was £210 more then what I originally paid, I couldn't believe this. When I challenged him, he said " have your money back" another shock, obviously my custom means nothing to Argos! I wasn't going to take this lying down so I have emailed their head office it's been 3 days and I haven't even had notification that they have received my compliant... And they still have my money....

Phoned Argos as the rainforest jumperoo are in stock for £89.99. Two left, so then she describes it but it sounds like the discover and grow which is £79.99. That's not the rainforest one I said. She describes it as having black and white on which was wrong. So then I said that's the discover and grow one. I said how much is it? She said 89.99 when it clearly shows its not online. Its not that I can't afford another tenner but why sell it for the same price when it's not! I gave her the code for the discover and grow then she says its out of stock but it is stck under the rainforest one and is still still selling it 10 more!!

NEVER EVER PURCHASE GOODS FROM ARGOS FOR HOME DELIVERY. ========================================================= They use that AWFUL courier company YODEL to deliver their goods and they are about as useful as a chocolate tea pot! As we all know they blamed christmas for all the let down customers in december. I purchased my goods on friday 16.01.15 for delivery on saturday 17.01.15 waited in all day for Yodel and nothing arrived. Yodels website said my parcel would be delivered on monday 19.01.15 and after waiting in all day again nothing arrived. I would advise if anyone wants anything from Argos to go into their store or if you really need something delivered GO ELSE WHERE

Disgusted. Tried to order a Dyson DC35 last weekend as in the sale at £199.99. None in stock anywhere. This weekend the same model in the sale at £249.00 saying it was previously at £299.00! What a complete con. Shame on you Argos & I am sure goes against trading stanards to advertise something when previous price was actually not as high as stated??

Due to a mistake with THEIR website, i missed the delivery day option i wanted for a new tv, i asked them for free delivery as it was their mistake and i would have to wait, the delivery cost was only £3.95 but it was the principal, they refused, so for the sake of £3.95 they have lost my custom and lost out on the sale of a tv and the customer services person was snarky....................bye bye argos

I purchased a TV from argos which came damaged out of the box. 1 inch deep scratch on the screen and stuck pixels. I took the TV to the Kings Lynn New Conduit Street store. The manager looked at the TV and said this was consumer damage. THE TV IS BRAND NEW AND UNDER 2 MONTHS OLD He called me a liar which was very embarrasing infront of a store full of people.. He then called customer services and left notes to say that I will not have a replacement sent out either. I called CS again only to be told lies over the phone stating that the TV was very grubby, the scratch was 10 inches long!!!! All lies. The women on the phone was very, VERY rude, trying to catch me out on something that is not my fault. Ive asked for all recordings and notes to be sent to me via email or sent to my address. Ive sent email complaints stating court action will start and that ill contact the Ombudsman. Im with my rights under the Sales of Goods Act. I will not let this slide and will do everything in my power to get this resolved and make this issue know by others. See you in court Argos if you do not resolve my issue. I will not let this situation slide by. Argos, contact me with the email address attatched to this review.
