Absolutely crap 'Fast Track' service I ordered and paid for a toy musical keyboard for as a birthday gift via fast track store collection service. I received a sms and also an email confirming that I can collect the item at selected store between 23rd to 30th December. I went to the store on 23rd and was told by staff that the item has not yet arrived, I showed the sms and also the email which I received from argos confirming the dates. I was advised by staff that the layout of sms and email is incorrect by Argos and that I should come back on Monday the 28th to see if the item has arrived. There is nothing FAST in Argos's FastTrack service. Its only waste of money and our time to go to their store.

Fast Track - what a waste of time. Its taken 50 hours of calls only to find out that the tv they sent me is second hand with an argos bracket on the back, as it came of the wall in the store and now it is returned, they now want me to get another one and pay for it. They never return calls and lie. Shameful behaviour from a company that prides itself on customer service, NOT! Do not use the Cowley Middlesex branch as both Ben and Paul are liars, not my words, their own delivery drivers.......

Absolutely disgraceful. Had nothing but bother. Bought a sofa bed which was for a guest at my mother's house, payed for and guaranteed I would get it on a specific day I recieved it 15 days late so our gest had to sleep on the floor, for Argos to turn around and refuse to carry it up the stairs once it finally arrived, leaving my DISABLED mother no choice but to do it herself. Then when ordering some items, I got charged twice and DIDNOT recieve my order because they once again didn't have it in stock. Also they did not refund the money and caused more hassle. More recently in a local argos store I waited 30 minutes to be seen on my lunch break because the staff "couldn't remember who was next". After waiting in the line watching people get served who hadn't been there long, I had to explain how long I'd waited. I told the boy at the till what I wanted to be told bluntly "no can do, sorry bye- who was next!? ". So I went to another Argos store, where the lady told me she also didn't have the item I needed, but that another store definitely had it. After spending £25 on taxi fair to get to the store which was a long distance away, I was again rudely served with "nah, haven't got it sorry". Never ever again will I shop at argos, what an outrage.

Ordered a camcorder for Xmas present on 15th December using fast track service I was advised on my confirmation email saying I could collect this from my local store between 20th-27th December. Turned up at store @ 12.30 on 20th December to be told it wasn't there they would be getting a delivery @ 15.00 (doesn't tell you on email to pick up after a certain time ) . I returned on 21st December after work @17.45 to be told again it wasn't there . The store where it was supposed to be coming didn't actually have one but they took my money anyway !!Luckily there was one extremely helpful member of staff who told me they had one in stock but because I'd ordered it online on fast track she was unable to just give me that one .After numerous phone calls made by her she was able to sort this for me . So 45 mins after I'd gone to pick up a "fast track " order I had my item . Glad she was able to help because another member of staffs suggestion was they'd refund this order and I buy the item in their store. But as this item cost £170 this wasn't an option as it would then take 5-7 days to get money back . Will not be using again

Ordered a tumble dryer on 23rd Nov. Arrived 1st Dec badly dented. Took 3 days of being on hold to get through to the customer services. Replacement arrived on 11th Dec, but wasn't working so spent rest of day on hold before getting through to the dreaded customer services again. Was told that a refund had been arranged once the tumble dryer had been collected. Sadly, cannot for love nor money get a pick up date arranged. Have spent the last week continueingly ringing them to be lied to. Am absolutely exasperated with them. Take a tip. DO NOT BUY FROM ARGOS-EVER

My Mum ordered a bed and a sofa. Let me summarise in a few words MY experience ordering and supposed delivery of items: I have never come across such a bunch of liars in my whole life. I'm sure nobody from Argos give a flying F... about the customers. nobody! I won't bore you with anything more but believe me-Argos will pay for the upset caused.

I placed an order online for some doors. Delivery date given, money taken, and confirmation email received. More than 24 hours later I get a text message saying my order was cancelled due to a pricing error. The money would be back on my card within 5 working days. Not even a respectful courtesy call. I called to complain and got hung up on several times after waiting for ages, even before I could even put my point across. When I finally spoke to somebody who bothered to take the time to listen, I was told I would get a priority call from a manager within 4 hours. Needless to say, it never happened. Disgusting customer service. Won't bother buying from them again, and I intend posting their antics over social media, to which I have plenty of clout. Big mistake Argos!

Placed an order last month but had selected my existing delivery address in error. I spotted the error and rang customer services to try amend the delivery address only to be told it had been dispatched!! - I find this hard to believe as the order was placed late in the evening and I rang first thing the following morning 8am. About an hour after the call, I received another email from Argos saying the order had been dispatched to my existing address!!! - I find it absolutely bizarre that you can't amend or cancel an order online once it's has been placed - It has to be delivered first then returned for a refund. - I have no idea if the order was returned and am still waiting for a refund (1+ month later!). Argos need to have a look at how their competitors work, I frequently use Amazon and have never had an issue trying to cancel/amend orders!

I am very disappointed in argos delivery service. I ordered a cooker about 5 months ago for it it to go wrong after 2 months. after waiting 3 weeks and numerous phone call I was told the part was being ordered even though no one had been out to look at it to know the fault, finally someone arrived to what I thought to fix the cooker to tell me he had to order the part. .which I had waited 3 weeks for apparently. Then they tried to charge me £150 for the call out. Eventually after much hassle and still no repair they come and took the cooker back. I ordered a new one which was meant to be delivered early December which was the salted until 14th December o had a text confirmation to say it was being delivered between 1 -3pm it was late so I called they assured me it was on the van and would be delivered that day. It never arrived I then called the next morning only to be told they now can't deliver tell 29th Dec. Leaving me and a family of 6 with no cooker over xmas day or all xmas. They don't even seem to care just say that's the next day they can do

I ordered a ITEM for my daughter for her 11th birthday hoping it would turn up for the day! 5 days later no email, no telephone call! After numerous attempts of ringing the customer service team again I have been fobbed off and told the supplier will contact me in the next 24 hours however I was told this a couple of days ago however 'the supplied will ring back in 48 hours' to confirm a day! Got a very disappointed daughter due to the fact of her main present not been delivered after waiting a week! Awful service!

I reserved a heater online and collected it the following morning (round trip of 22 miles). The chosen model was the 3kw DELUXE--with ELECTRONIC CLIMATE CONTROL. This feature was the ONLYy reason I purchased--wanted accurate on/off settings for heater activation. Only the DELUXE model had this feature, the standard one being without. Online description and model and catalogue numbers were clear. When I got the item home it turned out to be the STANDARD model. I returned to Argos (another round trip of 22 miles). There I was served by a member of staff who insisted I was wrong and that the right model had been supplied. He looked up the cat number in the hard-copy catalogue and confirmed this: the model did not have clinmate control. I asked him to check online as the online description was different. He checked on his internal computer system and again told me I was wrong. I was becoming more and more frustrated. So I asked him to remove the manual from the box, which confirmed that the model I had was the wrong one. Only after this would he understand. I asked for the correct item I had bought. It was not in stock. I asked for a refund to my credit card and this was grudgingly given. Having wasted 44 miles and four hours, I asked if he had any comment (I was looking for a simple 'sorry' as Argos had clearly messed up their cat nos and had not matched online display with the proper no.) He said 'no comment'. I suggested coldly that all I wanted was a simple apology. I received a cold, insincere 'sorry' and left. I was asked for feedback online and gave a bad review, confirming that I would like someone from Argos to contact me (I didn't want any other poor suckers to get caught in the same way). Needless to say, two days later--no reply. Diabolical service and hopelessly inefficient system. Don't think I'll ever use Argos again.

placed an order online to be collected at my local Crayford branch, and received an email and text message to tell me it was ready to collect...however, when I went to the store the very rude girl behind the counter said "come back tomorrow"...to which I said no as I'd been informed that I could collect. She then messed about with her computer and said "it's cancelled" (not explaining why she told me to come back tomorrow!) Not the first time it's happened and this store are always rude. Will NEVER shop with argos again, and I'll be telling this to anyone who'll listen so they don't shop there too.

Awful delivery service - arrogant delivery men wishing to impose delivery before the time agreed and notified by text. No interest in making the customer happy - just interested in the customer cancelling the order so they do not have to wait in the area until delivery time. Complete non sense for customer and loss of business for Argos.

I got my items on an Argos card for my son's for Christmas as I couldn't afford to pay it out right and due to the floods at the weekend they were ruined. Explained my situation to the shop at Kingstown Carlisle and they just brushed it off and said use your own insurance the problem there is they weren't in my house at the time and it wasn't like the whole of Carlisle asked to lose there processions and some have lost their jobs never again will I ever use this company again.
