I went into Argos in Fakenham Norfolk on Tuesday to buy two 22" tv's for the spare bedrooms. They were out of stock so I bought 1 x 22 inch with a dvd player in it and ordered another without. They only had stock of one with a dvd player so I couldn't take 2. The lady told me that they were out of stock at their Cromer branch as well and that it would have to come from the warehouse. No problem from my point of view, It will be here on Sunday she told me . No problem from my point of view. She wouldn't let me pay for both so I paid for the one I took away and was given a £10 voucher as it was over £100. I joked with here about receiving another £10 voucher on Sunday and that i'd have to think of something to buy to use it up. The TV actually arrived in the store early but I couldn't get there until Sunday as promised and the TV was waiting for me. I paid the bill using the £10 voucher and asked for my new voucher . Oh said the girl we've stopped doing them and we only give the voucher if you pay before the offer expires. No it doesn't matter that you ordered before the expiry date. I asked for the manager who explained again that the rules are that I didn't get the voucher as I didn't pay in time. I explained that I offered to pay . "Ah no" she told me "we won't take payment until the goods are received in store that's our system". " That doesn't seem fair to me" was my comment "That's our system. Sorry". She didn't look heart broken. I returned the t.v..and thanked her. Then withdrew the thanks as well . Is that customer service? I don't think so.

Really annoyed that they still haven't helped me out in searching my item worth over £100, just pissed off that they told me "oh ill call you back tomorrow to see what happens", bla bla bla, they haven't called back, stupid customer service, really hate it, and those customer service people doesn't seem to care, it's like they're just reading off the script and enjoying them selves

The most awful customer service I have ever come across. It took three phone calls (both from myself), half an hour on hold, 11 emails (of which 2 were answered) -not to mention being provided with the wrong email address by the telephone operator, and over a month since my first enquirer for Argos to replace the wrong product they had sent me. Even when they did replace it, they noted the wrong street down and I had to change that for them. AND, the replacement product STILL wasn't the one I ordered. I hope Argos sort themselves out, not what you would expect from such a large company.

We ordered a new fridge freezer and arranged delivery for the 21st of Jan. I took the day off and at 8am I received a txt from argos saying that the item was on its way and would be delivered before 9am. I was impressed. By 12 there was still no sign so I called argos and they said that the delivery had been cancelled because it was a large item and needed a special delivery. This had never been told to us. We were told that they had tried ringing us but no messages were left and no calls received on my call monitor. Delivery was rearranged for the 29th leaving us with no fridge for 8 days. Nice. Again today I called and was told that the item would be here between 7 and 9am but they were a little behind due to the high winds. 11am I called argos again to be told that this was an all day slot and they couldn't give me a time. Completely conflicting information again. This was completely unacceptable due to school and college runs. I have never had such poor service and I have now cancelled the order and will go somewhere else. Having read other peoples feedback it appears that this is a common fault with argos.

I used to work for Argos and the way the run things are very unprofessional behind closed doors, like if customers reserve items and there have no stock they will sell your reserved item for a paying customer. I am very unhappy because they didn't pay me correctly you think because they are a big organisation they would look after there staff unfortunately not.

Placed an order for a couple of shelves and an ottoman, paymet was taken from my account but no products were received. To cut a long story short, after 2 weeks of phoning around Argos customer service and Yodel I finally received my order only to find it was short. On speaking to Argos customer service I was told the ottoman was out of stock and I would receive it when it was back in the advisor said she had no idea when that would be!!! So I asked for a refund, only to check my account later to find I was refunded £4 less than what I had paid!!!! Furious with the service received, I will never be ordering from Argos again!!!

have waited in all afternoon for a delivery its now 7.15 no phone call to say they cant make it .so I have had the afternoon off for nothing. I would like some one to tell me what is going on and a sorry would be nice. try and call some one its a 50min wait. I thought the customer was important.to you. does not feel like it to me.......

Ordered a Canon Pixma received second hand one, black ink used. Argos couldn't have been less helpful. Amazon in future.

I ordered a kitchen unit set. It was a larger item for delivery only. What was offered.... - delivery was next day between 12pm-4pm...paying £19.99 for express fast track service. - Email confirmation would be sent with order number. - £199.97 was paid using my debit card. What was provided.... 1. Item was not delivered 2. No email confirmation received, so no order number to track. 3. Payment was taken 3 times, the bank said Argos had my money already through the faster payment service. I called Argos 5 times and each time I repeated my details only for them to tell me I was not on their system. No apology. No concern or care. The bank confirmed yet again that Argos did have the money the whole £659.88. Argos refused to acknowledge that I was even a customer. The bank provided me with the payment reference numbers and Argos are now looking into it, however it will take them 48-72 hours before someone will call me back. I doubt they will and I will have to chase them. I'm in the middle of renovating and I can't believe they have taken this amount from me and university nothing to show for it. This has delayed my decorating and house move and left me with very little money to pay my bills or buy the things I need to buy. The bank say they will open up a dospute after 48hours so patiently waiting now! Shocking service I will never shop at Argos again and I cannot believe the ratings on here are so bad. Wish I had read them first. Argos do not care they just want your money. AVOID so rude also!

Very bad I brought beats headphones, it came, it was damaged, one ear wasn't working and also there was a scratch on the inside. Lastly the headphones seriel number was different to the one on the box :/ how does that work !!!

very poor company poor customer service and poor attitude. Can not believe this company still exists, why would anyone want to shop at argos. When they can not even be bothered to serve you in store then you order something online and only half the order arrives. good luck to anyone who works at argos

Ordered 2 items online using fast track. What a joke! Received a text to say the items were ready to collect, so went to the store only to be told they were not in stock and I would have to wait 5days. Checking online for ordinary reserve and collect it was still telling me the items were in stock, and also if I'd have ordered and had it delivered to my home it would have been there the next day. Having complained to Argos via email and also in store I have been refused a refund even though I have not received the items. So fast track is In fact a rip off, the slowest of all the services they offer and their customer service is absolutely disgusting. They have taken my money and not provided the product and refused refund. Will never be shopping with them again.

I was bought a Lenovo A10-70. The Lenovo review states that the model number A7600H has a slot for a phone sim card, which I was under the impresssion I was buying, but when it came to fitting the sim card, no space, the model I had been sold was the A7600-F which does not take a phone sim card. When I spoke to Argos about this ,they told me that they cannot guarantee that you will get the model you ask for, and have totally refused to exchange it. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ARGOS

The worst company I have ever dealt with! Purchased a wardrobe on Oct 28th, delivered on 3rd Nov, received damaged! Called them had to wait 45 minuets on hold to speak to someone, couldn't pick up damaged wardrobe and re deliver until the 13th Nov, wardrobe was re delivered again DAMAGED!!!!!!! Tried calling again several times countless hours wasted with terrible hold music, call backs promised that didn't materialize! arranged a collection date 18th Nov which no one showed up. after literally tearing a manager a new one was the wardrobe collected by a third party company on the 15th Dec!! i was told i would be refunded withing 5 working days, its now the 11th Jan and i am still without my money i paid on the 28th Oct!!! if you have any sense don't not invest you money! products are not fit for purpose and the customer service is DIABOLICAL!

Ordered a dog guard, but it was not the same as the one advertised. Had to return next day to sort as shop was closing and I was not allowed to re-enter to sort it out. When I returned no apology or help to find an alternative offered. I therefore accepted refund but as I had used an easy saved card for part of the payment, I was told they could only give me a gift card for that part of the refund. I had no intention of buying anything else with Argos and just wanted my money back. after a 10 minute battle with the manager I finally got the refund I was entitled to.

I ordered a tv and wall bracket for my sounds birthday online threw the fast track option. When away to the put the tv on the wall found that the bracket that came with the tv didn't even fit it! I then returned this item to my local store in elgin and was told I would be refunded threw paypal within 5 working days! 10 working days later and I still have no refund!!! When I phoned to see what was going on I basically got told I would just have to keep waiting and there's nothing they can do about it! Absolutely appalong customer service and I am still waiting for my refund I would not recommend argos atoll!!!!!

Brought a malibu pink chest of draws.Put item together to find the draw was warped and did not close like it should.phoned customer servises said that they would send me a replacment draw. 5 days later found the draw was posted put in my shed next to my house. Parcel damaged on 1 cotner draw damaged it was a joke very unhappy with argos servises

We placed an order for nursery furniture the week before Christmas, arranging delivery for 30th December. Got a phone call the day before, rearranging delivery for 8th January due to a stock issue. Got a text the day before, confirming our delivery window so sat in and waited... and waited... and waited. No delivery. Phoned customer services the following morning, as the offices were closed that evening (delivery could have been until 8:00pm). Told that the delivery was not made, as the drivers 'ran out of hours', so just didn't deliver - no phone call, just didn't show up. Offered a new delivery date of 2nd February! Cancelled my order and arranged a refund. The advisor I spoke to was very helpful, but waiting another month to see if my order will arrive again (after two failed attempts already was unacceptable). I have since placed an order with another, more reliable company. Wish I'd read the reviews and warnings on here before I ordered. I will never use Argos home delivery again. Dreadful service.

I recently made an order for delivery which I obviously waited at home for. I had a message saying that delivery had been attempted but failed..an outright lie as I was at home. Trying to get a new delivery date was an absolute pain. I have never had problems with Argos so put it down to a one off.. However, I bought a bed last week. It got to 6pm on the day of delivery and I had a call saying the van could not get down my road..fair enough. So Argos arranged for a smaller van to deliver it, on Thursday. Somehow this date changed to Wednesdag, then I had a message saying it was coming on the following Monday! After 45 minutes on hold to customer services I was told it was actually to be delivered Wednesday. I took the morning off of work, thought I'd give them a call just to confirm my delivery as they don't seem to be 100% on any date or know what is even going on. The adviser tells me there is no record of my order coming on Wednesday, it Is in fact Thursday between 7 and 12. So I now sit here, on Thursday, at 11:30, no sign of My delivery and no phone call from the driver. Another day I have taken off of work. I called Argos for what seems like the 100th time, it has been confirmed the delivery is being made today but nobody knows a time. So basically, that's two days I have taken off of work, and currently still no sign of my bed. Im not holding out much hope it will even arrive today. Never again will I place an order with this company.

Someone collected a PS4 for me from Argos in Cromer on Boxing Day. They were told that it came with a free Uncharted 4 Collection game. They did not have it so I had to collect it from Castle Mall in Norwich by the following day. So I made a special trip to Norwich a total journey of 45 miles. However when I got to the Castle Mall Argos (between 11.10 and 11.30am) I was told it was not free. Therefore I made a special trip for nothing paying for both petrol and car parking. Never mind having to deal with all the queues. I complained to Argos on 27/12/2015 and they got back to me on 28/12/2015. They advised I contact them if I was unhappy about being misled and they will speak to the store to see if they would honour what was promised. So I stated that I was not happy. 9 days later I have no reply by email or any other means. Last time I shop with Argos.
