Ordered a dog guard, but it was not the same as the one advertised. Had to return next day to sort as shop was closing and I was not allowed to re-enter to sort it out. When I returned no apology or help to find an alternative offered. I therefore accepted refund but as I had used an easy saved card for part of the payment, I was told they could only give me a gift card for that part of the refund. I had no intention of buying anything else with Argos and just wanted my money back. after a 10 minute battle with the manager I finally got the refund I was entitled to.

I ordered a tv and wall bracket for my sounds birthday online threw the fast track option. When away to the put the tv on the wall found that the bracket that came with the tv didn't even fit it! I then returned this item to my local store in elgin and was told I would be refunded threw paypal within 5 working days! 10 working days later and I still have no refund!!! When I phoned to see what was going on I basically got told I would just have to keep waiting and there's nothing they can do about it! Absolutely appalong customer service and I am still waiting for my refund I would not recommend argos atoll!!!!!

Brought a malibu pink chest of draws.Put item together to find the draw was warped and did not close like it should.phoned customer servises said that they would send me a replacment draw. 5 days later found the draw was posted put in my shed next to my house. Parcel damaged on 1 cotner draw damaged it was a joke very unhappy with argos servises

We placed an order for nursery furniture the week before Christmas, arranging delivery for 30th December. Got a phone call the day before, rearranging delivery for 8th January due to a stock issue. Got a text the day before, confirming our delivery window so sat in and waited... and waited... and waited. No delivery. Phoned customer services the following morning, as the offices were closed that evening (delivery could have been until 8:00pm). Told that the delivery was not made, as the drivers 'ran out of hours', so just didn't deliver - no phone call, just didn't show up. Offered a new delivery date of 2nd February! Cancelled my order and arranged a refund. The advisor I spoke to was very helpful, but waiting another month to see if my order will arrive again (after two failed attempts already was unacceptable). I have since placed an order with another, more reliable company. Wish I'd read the reviews and warnings on here before I ordered. I will never use Argos home delivery again. Dreadful service.

I recently made an order for delivery which I obviously waited at home for. I had a message saying that delivery had been attempted but failed..an outright lie as I was at home. Trying to get a new delivery date was an absolute pain. I have never had problems with Argos so put it down to a one off.. However, I bought a bed last week. It got to 6pm on the day of delivery and I had a call saying the van could not get down my road..fair enough. So Argos arranged for a smaller van to deliver it, on Thursday. Somehow this date changed to Wednesdag, then I had a message saying it was coming on the following Monday! After 45 minutes on hold to customer services I was told it was actually to be delivered Wednesday. I took the morning off of work, thought I'd give them a call just to confirm my delivery as they don't seem to be 100% on any date or know what is even going on. The adviser tells me there is no record of my order coming on Wednesday, it Is in fact Thursday between 7 and 12. So I now sit here, on Thursday, at 11:30, no sign of My delivery and no phone call from the driver. Another day I have taken off of work. I called Argos for what seems like the 100th time, it has been confirmed the delivery is being made today but nobody knows a time. So basically, that's two days I have taken off of work, and currently still no sign of my bed. Im not holding out much hope it will even arrive today. Never again will I place an order with this company.

Someone collected a PS4 for me from Argos in Cromer on Boxing Day. They were told that it came with a free Uncharted 4 Collection game. They did not have it so I had to collect it from Castle Mall in Norwich by the following day. So I made a special trip to Norwich a total journey of 45 miles. However when I got to the Castle Mall Argos (between 11.10 and 11.30am) I was told it was not free. Therefore I made a special trip for nothing paying for both petrol and car parking. Never mind having to deal with all the queues. I complained to Argos on 27/12/2015 and they got back to me on 28/12/2015. They advised I contact them if I was unhappy about being misled and they will speak to the store to see if they would honour what was promised. So I stated that I was not happy. 9 days later I have no reply by email or any other means. Last time I shop with Argos.

I ordered a TV last Saturday and selected the 7pm-10pm delivery slot. I waited up in the front room for it to arrive and they never showed up, had no emails or calls. I left it in the hope that they'd arrive the following morning by some miracle. The next day at around 3pm they call me to tell me they're actually out of stock and that it'd take a week for the item to get down from some other warehouse and they'd rearranged the delivery, I agree to this which takes the woman on the phone by complete surprise so she quickly hangs up. Immediately after this phone call, I get a text through from Argos saying my item was cancelled and is to be refunded. I shrug it off assuming it won't arrive and then three days later they took the money out of my account. If you really have to buy from them, you'd save A LOT of hassle if you collected it yourself.

orderd a double mattress 2 as they the first time got it wrong and the 2nd time they delivered us the exact same mattress

I ordered a bed from argos , at the time of purchase it said 5 days delivery, I paid in full they took the money but 5 days later I have no bed or emails of them , I phoned today at 6.30 pm phone lines were busy I was on hold after 45 minutes (7.15) I got an answer she said you have no delivery date ill just put you on hold a few moments while I get you a delivery date , again I was on hold , customer services phone line is open till 8 pm so as I was still on hold at 8.25 pm I decided they'd fobbed me off so ended the call I am disgusted with argos customer services, i will never buy from argos again, as I'm still no nearer to finding out when my bed will be here , quick enough to take money from you ,

So mad with Argos right about now, ignore e-mails and fob you off with excuses. They delivered my sons Christmas present damaged and have still not replaced it.

Don't expect basic customer service from Argos. They said they couldn't take my old bed outside - literally down a short hall to the front door and no stairs! Were not able to take away the packaging or assemble the bed. The only suggestion was to ask me if I had a rubber hammer which I would need to get the feet in. Rubbish service

Ordered matress (very nice) paid for pick up of old matress delivery men refused to take because argos did not supply them or myself with packaging to put it in to return (not once mentioned in their numerous txt & emails) now they have decided they wont pick old matress up no reason why (one of reasons ordered from argos was pick up of old matress service) have now celebrated new year with our new hall friend (old matress) absolutely disgraceful customer service avoid argos online much more helpful customer friendly companies out there AVOID ARGOS ONLINE AT ALL COSTS SHOCKING COMPANY

Ordered a tumble dryer yesterday ONLY because it would be delivered within 48hours and just received a message to say it had been confirmed it will be delivered on 31st Jan 2016 . (one month later) Called customer service and they said it must have been an error, However it happened to my brother last month with a fridge freezer. My brother had to fight to get refund for weeks and they had no recall of his sale so I better get refund as promised !!Nothin but liars and cons.

Appalling Shop cash paid by disabled man his debit card was stolen he explained they took cash. yet forced a gift card on him forcing him to buy Their goods this is no better than blackmail you have no choice but to buy Thérè shoddy rubbish if you Pay cash you have a right to cash back Not gift cards avoid argos Thérè are much better stores Argos are robbers

Absolutely crap 'Fast Track' service I ordered and paid for a toy musical keyboard for as a birthday gift via fast track store collection service. I received a sms and also an email confirming that I can collect the item at selected store between 23rd to 30th December. I went to the store on 23rd and was told by staff that the item has not yet arrived, I showed the sms and also the email which I received from argos confirming the dates. I was advised by staff that the layout of sms and email is incorrect by Argos and that I should come back on Monday the 28th to see if the item has arrived. There is nothing FAST in Argos's FastTrack service. Its only waste of money and our time to go to their store.

Fast Track - what a waste of time. Its taken 50 hours of calls only to find out that the tv they sent me is second hand with an argos bracket on the back, as it came of the wall in the store and now it is returned, they now want me to get another one and pay for it. They never return calls and lie. Shameful behaviour from a company that prides itself on customer service, NOT! Do not use the Cowley Middlesex branch as both Ben and Paul are liars, not my words, their own delivery drivers.......

Crap customer service The staff at Argos store in Bradford are racist Alma linch and Adam I wear the hijab Alma just ignored me when I called her when my item was ready to collect Told Adam the manager he says she didn't do anything Really upset Racism should not exist We should All be united But overall experience I would never ever shop at Argos Racist

Absolutely disgraceful. Had nothing but bother. Bought a sofa bed which was for a guest at my mother's house, payed for and guaranteed I would get it on a specific day I recieved it 15 days late so our gest had to sleep on the floor, for Argos to turn around and refuse to carry it up the stairs once it finally arrived, leaving my DISABLED mother no choice but to do it herself. Then when ordering some items, I got charged twice and DIDNOT recieve my order because they once again didn't have it in stock. Also they did not refund the money and caused more hassle. More recently in a local argos store I waited 30 minutes to be seen on my lunch break because the staff "couldn't remember who was next". After waiting in the line watching people get served who hadn't been there long, I had to explain how long I'd waited. I told the boy at the till what I wanted to be told bluntly "no can do, sorry bye- who was next!? ". So I went to another Argos store, where the lady told me she also didn't have the item I needed, but that another store definitely had it. After spending £25 on taxi fair to get to the store which was a long distance away, I was again rudely served with "nah, haven't got it sorry". Never ever again will I shop at argos, what an outrage.

Ordered a camcorder for Xmas present on 15th December using fast track service I was advised on my confirmation email saying I could collect this from my local store between 20th-27th December. Turned up at store @ 12.30 on 20th December to be told it wasn't there they would be getting a delivery @ 15.00 (doesn't tell you on email to pick up after a certain time ) . I returned on 21st December after work @17.45 to be told again it wasn't there . The store where it was supposed to be coming didn't actually have one but they took my money anyway !!Luckily there was one extremely helpful member of staff who told me they had one in stock but because I'd ordered it online on fast track she was unable to just give me that one .After numerous phone calls made by her she was able to sort this for me . So 45 mins after I'd gone to pick up a "fast track " order I had my item . Glad she was able to help because another member of staffs suggestion was they'd refund this order and I buy the item in their store. But as this item cost £170 this wasn't an option as it would then take 5-7 days to get money back . Will not be using again
