Apparently Argos do value my custom, that is the message I have been receiving for 37 minutes currently. I accept this is a busy period but waiting for this length of time is very poor call handling by Argos, they clearly have either not resourced adequately for the numbers of calls they have forecast or have chosen a level of customer experience that accepts very poor service. When the answer is not on line it is not unreasonable to be able to speak with someone in less than 40 minutes of waiting. Argos customer Services - if you do review these sites, please respond, with more than 'we are experiencing high call volumes.

Do not buy anything from Argos!!!! They have the worst customer service, they state an item will be with you within 3 - 5 days but it never gets delivered on time! You can not check the status of your order online and when you ring the customer service line, you are left on hold! I have been on hold for nearly one hour! Absolutely disgraceful customer service, I will never buy anything from Argos ever again, no matter how convenient it sometimes appears to be! It is not!

False delivery advertisement I had bought a washing machine on 18/11/15 which it say on argos delivery that they will deliver it on the room of your choice.washing machine came I ask the 2 delivery man if they can move it to the cellar as Iam 9months pregnant..but they refuse..so I was not so happy at all because I have to pay someone to bring it down on cellar.so I did rang argos and complain..and told her my situation and Im going to order a dryer soon so I don't want it to be the same problem with thewashing machine..after talking to her for 1hr and after that woman stress me out on the phone.she told me her manager gonna ring me back..2hrs later argos manager rang me.I told her my situation and she did apologies for what happen and she promise to compensate me £20 voucher as a apologies and she says that when I order my dryer give them a call and then they will put on my note that need help heavily pregnant..yesterday I order my dryer despite I haven't receive the promise voucher..I gave argos a call to let them know as the manager told me to do..but the person I spoke to called Michelle says that they can't do anything if drivers decline to do it .even though I been advice and I'm pregnant..ask her about the 20 voucher that promise and she says they put it through..I'm so fuckin mad at argos...fuckin liar and stress me and waste my time..

Writing reviews help build trust - I would say that this is not a company anyone should trust. I have only ordered something from Argos twice in my life, last time it was an iron and this time an ink cartridge and both times it has gone disastrously wrong! I ordered a black ink cartridge on Friday for a delivery on Saturday between 1900-2200hrs, nothing arrived. So I went on line to try and track it but to no avail. I then called Argos and was explained that my order had gone missing, although after the sales rep Calvin called my local store it looked like the cartridge had never been out for delivery the order had disappeared shortly after being confirmed?? But as always Calvin was apologetic, and to be fair it is not his fault although unfortunately for him he represents Argos so to me he is Argos. The best solution he advised would be for me to go to the nearest Argos store and he would make sure the cartridge would be there waiting for me. This is what was suggested last time when I had ordered the iron but when I arrived in store it had disappeared in the system, so to be honest I did not want to go through this again. Had I wanted to go to my nearest store I would not have arranged for a delivery. Arranging for a delivery means I would like to have it delivered to my home not to a shop. I then asked to receive a refund, oh dear this is not as easy as you may think, as the product has disappeared it is not possible for the cs to arrange the refund, the only way this can be done is through the head office and they will have to call me back within 24-48hrs to arrange the refund for me and then I will have to wait up to 10 working days to get the refund back on to my card........al this because I needed a black ink cartridge because I unfortunately have to work today and needed to print something that I am now unable to print anyway!! Thank you Argos for advertising a service that you can simply NOT deliver.

Recently I place an order however a supposed confirmation email I received turns out to be a cancelled order on my purchase. What is that? I didn't even cancel it. Ok that enough. I've called Argos 3 times today after a long wait because the payment was made using my voucher code and I would like to retrieve it back. The customer service team said that they will instantly send me an email with a new voucher code but I'm waiting up till now! I could say that it is a shame to have a very very very poor customer service for such a huge retailer like you Argos. A big discount won't make it for a worst customer service. Your customer including me would run away to a more reliable retailer. And Amazon will be a wise choice I think. You just lost your customer and customer'customer's loyalty.

I've. Been held hostage by Argos's delivery or should I say non delivery service all day today. Zero communication since they debited my account last week. I called them and the automated message said the could deliver up until 9pm, when it should have been before 6pm. Very unhelpful man on the fone asked if I had rung. Yodel. Didn't even know they were the delivery company. Fuming whilst writing this. Still no delivery, not so much as a txt all day. If you can't collect it yourself, don't buy from these jokers.

Argos say they are competitive but when I boght a tv from them I found out that it was £105 more expensive then other retailers The answer was they only offer price match on toys and against homebase which is the sister company of argos. When I complained and asked why that ofher company can offer 3 years guaranty on the same product and £105 cheaper then them they just went quit then I asked to speak to some one whow can explaine they put the phone down the store did not want to know either. We also tried to take my son faulty guitar because on of the strings was already broken we were treated like criminals and blaimed for bracking the string our self the lady so called manager was very rude and my son started crying we said we were not happy with the service and we would want to speak to somone else she no one else was availeble but we can phone customer services but they want belive us and she was correct they didint. My advice if you want to buy any electrical product and Ipad go to john lewis you will get a good servise and 2 exta years of warranty and dont go to argos other good high street retailers are also cheaper then argos. Take our advice do not shope in argos.

Very poor computer system. Tells me my order is ready to collect when in fact I waited another 20 mins after the tanoid said it was ready to be told it hadn't even been picked. Only 2 staff on one of which was a driver helping out which were rude and unhelpful. A shop at a busy Christmas period full of annoyed customers. Picking staff which looked like they needed a kick up the backside as theyccouldn't av been any slower and stopped to gossip to each other. Doncaster Wheatley hall road store is a joke.

Unacceptable extremely poor customer service. Argos were due to deliver a tumble drier 29/11 wasn't delivered unable to get through to customer service message now saying unless it's urgent call back next week! I just want to cancel the order and get my money back. Have sent 3 emails via the link on their website it states if u have not had a clarification within 12 hours to contact them again. Guess what no clarification. Also tried the order enquiries link to send an e mail came back as undelivered. Can't believe this company have my money and I have not received the goods and u can't get through to them to cancel. Will never order from them again there must be some sort of law against taking people's money and not fulfilling the agreement. Very poor show Argos.

Argos Online is such a disgusting company and should be closed down. They take the money, say they will deliver, they don't deliver. It gets worse, they text you to say "your were not home" - complete lie. They give you a number to arrange re-delivery but you can't get through at all, have spend 55 mins each time at over 5 times to sort out, still nothing. What a joke of a company
