DON'T ORDER FROM GRUDHUD. I ORDER OVER 45.00 DOLLARS OF FOOD. WHEN MY FOOD ARRIVED IT WAS VERY COLD. I REQUESTED A REFUND THE REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I COULDN'T EAT MY FOOD IT WAS SO SOGGY AND VERY COLD. I DONT HAVE $45 TO WASTE. THEY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD MANAGEMENT SKILLS.I JUST WANTED MY MONEY BACK. I WOULDN'T REFER ANYONE TO THIS BUSINESS .

I had 5 food deliveries in the past 2 months and 3 out of 5 times delivery drivers made fun of me for ordering food online! They charge more than double the price of the food for delivery and this is their rude behavior. Delivery was late. The restaurant called me to say they were closing when the driver finally got there. I went to the door to make sure the driver won’t have any problem and then she made fun of me. Never again.

Grubhub will not refund your money. They do not care if your order is late or if your food is cold. They will not talk to you they will ignore you... I would not do business with this company!!!

Grub Hub should give the customers full refund and dock the driver who messed up. I live 12 min from a restaurant and waited 2 hours for dead cold food. An hour of that was my driver going in the complete opposite direction for what I assume was another order drop. Simultaneous orders so far from each other should not be allowed to be assigned to a single driver. I have nothing against using a microwave but regarding this order, the fried app would become soggy, the cream soup separates into a poor consistency, and the beef overcooks and becomes gamey. The only thing edible was a scoop of potatoes. Refund denied (probably because I got one once already) but I have been using your service for a very long time, have had other issues but never this bad and/or I didn’t find it necessary to raise those particular concerns. But tonight, I was lied to by the chat rep Jose DD and then rudely cut off when I expressed dismay at the measly refund. So I’m the end, I am now out $35 for a scoop of mashed potatoes. Actually I would give zero stars if it was possibly. Yesterday the Grubhub driver brought me a meal that was ordered by someone through Uber Eats. Grubhub’s customer service was horrible. All the girl would offers was some certificates that I could use on another order or I could file an appeal to get a refund. She said her computer wouldn’t allow her to give a refund. I asked her to contact the restaurant and reorder my food. She replied her computer wouldn’t let her. I asked for a supervisor and she stated that she was. I asked for someone higher up and of course she said she wasn’t allowed to transfer. Instead I got a bunch of certificates for the amount I spent so I could reorder my family’s meal. They have to be used in 30 days and to top it off the fine print says that I can only use one per order. So I’m stuck trying to make multiple orders or lose my money. I’m being penalized for their driver’s error. This is a very poor excuse for customer service.

I have ordered food from them in the past couple of months and my food was over an hour and a half late. Then when it was late they put it on my front porch with no knock or nothing. So don't believe that guarantee your food will be on time because it won't. My food was cold and some foods you just can't eat cold, sorry. The credit was just not good enough when you have a bad experience and can't enjoy the food you wanted to eat. I have never had any issues with Doordash like this and I give it no stars actually. The food was expensive and I gave a tip and this was a horrible experience twice. Trust me order from Doordash you will be happy!

Ordered a Dunkin order (large order with good tip) scheduled for delivery at 8 am for a work meeting at 8:30 am. Pre-ordered and pre-scheduled. Driver is all over the place on the map after picking up order, bypasses my work and appears to be joyriding all over the city. Order is marked as delivered when driver is miles from my workplace - I look like an idiot as said work meeting. It takes ages to fix and initially I was refunded only the delivery fee — for food that was either stolen or never picked up. Terrible service and terrible driver. App is deleted and I will not use again.

Delivery drivers are constantly dropping off orders to the wrong apartment. I even have it set that they're suppose to knock on my door and physically hand me the order. I've finally got fed up with the incompetence so canceled my membership and will be switching to DoorDash. Grubhub, there's a reason you're losing customers and it's due to your drivers, costs of said incompetence and lack of service. Maybe actually give the drivers an incentive to deliver to the correct address, like requiring customers to only be able to give a tip once they receive the order instead of before. And not take a cut from that tip.

They lied about where they got my grilled cheese sandwich. On Grubhub's website it says Fame Grilled Cheese when that place does not exist & then I found out that the place it came from was Village Inn. Be honest & get rid of the phony Concept Fame Grilled Cheese place & put in Village Inn since that's the real place it came from. Very deceiving!!!

Absolutely horrible! They offered me a one-year free Grubhubpolus through my BOA credit card and I signed up for that. Now I just noticed that they have been charging for 5 months. I immediately cancel the membership. This sounds like scamming people to me. Stay away from Grubhub!! Use Uber Eat or something!

I have some words that would get me in legal trouble if I posted them here on google in reference to Grubhub! This is absolutely the worst delivery platform I have EVERY worked for in the short 35 years I’ve been in this earth!!! I put in a good 6 months of delivery driving for grubhub and on 3 separate occasions, they denied and disregarded my cash out payments. I called and emailed on countless occasions, trying to get grubhub to see that they made a financial error when it came to paying me for the deliveries… they told me to visit the Q&A, which tells me NOTHING about how I can get back the money I’ve earned!!! Whenever I get the chance, I will be going after grubhub for everything they have taken from me. My pride, dignity, hard work, my gas, and my time!!

Your driver left my food somewhere else then my address and when I tried to have the tip refunded I was denied because I didn’t have an account with them. Terrible service and will never use them again.

Last year I placed an order for delivery. I receive a notification that the order has been delivered. It had not been delivered to me. I contact Grubhub and the refund me. a day later I run into a neighbor THROWING OUT my dinner from the previous night. Apparently the delivery driver went to the wrong apartment (happens, not a big deal, right?). however, the neighbor opened their door and TOLD the driver this was the wrong apartment and his response was, "you should just eat the food then." and walked away. Fast forward to last week. I place another order. Got a notification that my food was running late. Then, the driver arrives and calls me saying he is here. I ask where as my complex confuses people (despite signage all over the complex with directions). The driver just keeps telling me he is here. I continue asking where while explaining that my complex is #14 but my apt is #46. I keep explaining I need to know where so I can direct him and meet him. I finally understand that he is inside one of the many doorways, ask him to go outside and read what is above the doorway. Lo and behold he is at doorway with apartments 1-4, not near #46. I then tell him to start walking towards my apartment and I will meet him. He tells me his car is parked illegally and that, basically, he does not want to meet me. Twice during this call he tells me he should just leave with my food. I walk out and meet him – which sort of defies the purpose of delivery. I attempt to contact Grubhub that evening and every time my phone went to sleep the chat ended before I could get someone. I try the next day where I am offered a $5 GC - I say no thank you and I want a supervisor. I am told I will get a call (this was a Thursday). No call by Saturday and I reach out again. Now I receive an email offering $25 GC. I reply stating that I am not looking for a GC that I want to speak with a supervisor to discuss ongoing issues with delivery. Now, over a week later, with lots of back and forth I still have not spoken to a supervisor (although I did miss a call from someone late last evening who left a message and said they were a supervisor but had obviously not bothered to review the chats/emails). I finally replied this morning saying I was available for the next 3 hours and that someone should reach out. Next email is offering a $50 GC - I said no thank you and that I would no longer be a customer if I did not hear from a supervisor. Time came and went - I just submitted a request on both Grubhub and Seamless to delete my accounts. Doordash can have my hard earned $$ since GH and Seamless (since Seamless is run by GH) do not want to fix an egregious issue with their drivers.

Ordered food and only received half of it. Contacted them through chat and was refunded for what was missing but when I mentioned it would cost me another delivery fee the rep ended the chat. I responded and someone else joined who refused anything more than refunding the cost of the missing item. No offer to credit my account or anything. Allergies were completely scripted and not helpful at all. Will not use this service again.

I am so disappointed and upset with my experience with grub hub. I will never place an order again. I placed my order for a 5:30 delivery. The restaurant was not far from my house. Received confirmation and all. Right before 5:30 I get a message my order is on its way. And then a confirmation of delivery. Well it wasn’t. I called customer service and they apologized and cancelled the order …. Called the restaurant and they never received my order, made my order, or had a grub hub delivery pick it up!!! I called grubhub back and they agreed to replaced my order with no charge. I was given the same order number as previous and the order was never placed!! 3 hours later I have no food, hungry children. I was lied to and made false resolution. NEVER AGAIN

In 2022 I used Grubhub frequently, but in December 2022. A charge appeared on my credit card that was a duplicate charge of two transactions in April 2022. My credit card tried to dispute it to no avail, Grubhub stated they only keep transactions for 6 months so couldn’t verify if new or old transactions. So I’m out almost $75 due to their screw up. No more use of Grubhub for me!!

Operation of app is still a joke. Grubhub cash does NOT apply when it should. So guess what, you have to waste more time talking to "customer service", yet another joke! If you enjoy jokes, lies, not working with any type of a professionalism what so ever, than this is the one for you! Go stress yourself and enjoy!

Placed an order in San Marcos, Texas. Kept getting delayed and delayed. Finally called them and they said they have no available drivers here. Would have been nice to know upon ordering, not an hour and a half later. Canceled order, got full refund and $5 towards next delivery, but I will never use them again.
