“There is always someone in the house yet the delivery drivers continue to leave parcels out in the open even in heavy rain. They also leave them outside of neighbours door when we have NOT identified neighbours or safe places. Worst delivery company by a country mile”

Was expecting a delivery on fri 24th from Argos & yodel was delivering it between 10.34/ 12,34 i keeped tracking it & by 12 45 there was no tracking available & stating that thay had deliverd it & left calling card (which NEVER happend).I phoned Argos again to explaine all this & thay were very helpful & rearranged for a delivery for mon 29th which i stayed in again all day, messaged yodel in afternoon & was told by one of there customer service team thay have till 9pm to deliver on that day i explained that the app was showing it was still at yodel depo but thay could not give me a good explantion as to why; so the tracking app that yodel use is a waste of time .This company needs to retrain there delivery drivers & explaine that its no good delivering or supposingly delivering at the back of people,s properties when people have got front doors with door bells & for the delivery driver to say thay left a calling card (NO SUCH THING happens). I suggest that businesses & companies that use yodel for deliverys have a rethink as genuine people are not receiving them from yodel. i think all parcels should be signed for as anyone can take a photo & say thay have tried to deliver it.I urge Argos to consider who thay get to deliver there goods has you are a brilliant company .But the service yodel provides is disgusting I would not yodel any star ratings appalling service”
“Two failed delivery attempts on two consecutive days. The problem was that somehow the first line of my address was missing. I contacted the chat agent and established what my address should be. I was advised that delivery would then be the next day.
The same thing happened - no delivery. I contacted chat again and got no help whatsoever. Even though Yodel has my address on record, and also the correct address was recorded in the chat transcribes I was told that I would have to contact the seller and sort it out myself. It seems that the Yodel agents are incapable of passing on the corrected address to the driver of the delivery van. I also sent a text message to the driver (mobile number supplied by the chat agent) but he did not even bother to acknowledge the call. (If he was driving when I sent it he surely could have checked the call at his next scheduled stop.
I will admit that perhaps the seller made a mistake in the address, which would not have been the fault of Yodel. However there is no excuse on the part of Yodel in not making any attempt to correct the error themselves after I made them aware (on three occasions) of the correct address - I would have expected them to pass on that information to the van driver.
What an incompetent organisation. I wish sellers would opt out of using Yodel.”
“By far the worst courier. Every time I have ordered online and Yodel are the courier, I don't get the parcel. Their phonelinss say they're open, but no one is available af the times listed on their website.”
“I was due to have items delivered two days ago but received an e-mail to say that delivery was attempted and a calling card was left. I was at home and there was no attempt to deliver and no card was left. I re-scheduled deliver for today and guess what, same thing has happened. On top of this I placed an order yesterday and received an e-mail to say that my two items would be delivered today (24 March), only 1 item was delivered and I received the e-mail to say that delivery was attempted and ... you know the rest. The phone line is an automated service. Webchat promotes the app and tells me that delivery will be attempted again tomorrow. I posted a review on Trustpilot and it seemed someone did look into it but this hasn't changed anything. I've contacted the first company I placed the order with and they too were looking into it. This is absolutely rubbish. I will no longer use any company that uses Yodel for delivery. I will now have to go through the ordeal of trying to cancel orders to get my money back. Disgusted, exasperated and raging!”
“Why do these delivery drivers never knock the door? My windows are always open when I'm home radio/tv is on. They prefer to leave parcel hidden outside, but put a card through letter box to say where it is? Would of been quicker & easier to just knock the door wouldn't you think?”

“Not for the first time, Yodel have been “unable to locate my property” for 2 consecutive days, despite providing them with phone nos for drivers to use if stuck. Our property (& the other 21 in our road) is easily located using any Sat nav, & we don’t seem to have problems with any other couriers. Customer service via web chat makes vague excuses & promises but still no delivery. Pathetic in this day & age! Would never use by choice & would advise anyone who needs anything delivered to use any of the numerous alternative companies.”
“Parcel was not delivered has not moved in tracking from.depot in 7 days. Was told driver attempted delivery... we have cctv.. he did not. When advisor checked gps he was nowhere near our house. When you contact advisors every day they tell you it will arrive the next day.... so you wait in.. it does not. Customer service is shocking.”
“How do you make a complaint there is no human contact and only 1 number given out that cuts you off.your live chat also cut off. My daughters present was delivered on the wrong date no card left and is still apparently at the warehouse. Your customer service is rubbish. And where is my daughters birthday present.”
“The worst delivery company by far. Absolutely appalling customer service and non-existent communication. I was absolutely gutted when I found out my parcel was being delivered via Yodel - it is a birthday present for a loved one. The birthday has now passed due to their complete lack of competence.
They claimed they had "missed me" on Thursday, saying they had left a card but they hadn't. They apparently sent it back to the depot (I can't think of a company that doesn't leave it with a neighbour or in a sensible place nowadays). I rang them on Saturday to arrange a redelivery on Monday (today). I have heard nothing all day from them and no sign of a parcel.
Absolutely appalling company with no sense of efficiency, urgency or customer care. I wish you had a choice which company your parcels could be delivered with, so I never have to be stuck with Yodel.”
“There aren't enough words to describe how awful this company is. Having not received a delivery on the expected day, I contacted Yodel to be told my parcel had been delivered to "my safe place". I explained I live on a main road with no front garden and there is no "safe place". After a very long wait they advised me that it had been left on my front step and furthermore as their driver's GPS showed that they had been at my address I had technically received it and there was nothing I could do. I asked to see photographic proof of my parcel on my step and they said their drivers are not required to take photographs because they use GPS. They refuse to help me and say I need to contact the retailer. Sadly the retailer says I need to take it up with Yodel because their GPS shows the driver was at my property and it is up to me to prove I haven't received it. See my review for "Latest in Beauty" who seem to have the same lack of customer service and loyalty as their couriers.”
“Received cards two days in a row saying 'I missed you', when at home both days, with a very loud doorbell!. Contacting anyone is convoluted - never did find how to make voice contact - and the on-line customer service just repeats info. available.
I was then promised delivery next day, with a time slot notification. Nothing arrived, and tracking next day showed it at the depot. Depot closed on Sunday. Promise repeated.
This makes five days since first card delivered. The company fails customers on all counts. Avoid!”
“Advised my parcel had been delivered but it had not. Called the number tomspeak to someone which was just an automated service ( useless) then the Web chat!!! Say no more pointless, annoying and a waste of 1 hour. In the end the foreign call center advised me to go back to the florist I ordered the flowers from!”
“I have only only received half of my order which is supposed to come in 2 boxes and received box 2 out of 2 I’m missing box number 1, I have contacted yodel through your live chat as you don’t have a direct contact number, to be told that they are unable to contact the delivery driver which is ridiculous as he’s delivering £1000s of pounds of goods, the pram is very expensive and worth over £1000 even paid £20 extra for delivery, I’m due to have my baby any day now and do not have a pram for my soon to arrive baby due to your lack of service”
“They say they have delivered my parcel to a person but I wasnt in and when I got back it wasnt there, when I checked with my neighbours they didn't have any parcel for me so was either left in full view for someone to steal or the delivery driver stole it himself cause I wasnt in. Been trying to get in contact with someone to talk to but every option on the phone gets you nowhere. They are a joke of a company and probably thieving low lifes too”
