“2.3.23- Yodel app said delivery was due Saturday, happy customer because I’d be in.
3.3.23- I go to work, come home, check my Yodel app which claims the parcel was refused at my address earlier in the day. Strange as I was not at home to refuse this delivery.
I used the live web chat at 7.30pm to query this to be told that because the parcel was refused at the address that it had been marked as return to seller and that no second delivery attempt could be made. The live web chat disconnected at 7.50pm and I could not re-enter the chat. The live chat option shuts off at 8pm. I could not speak to anyone else; I go to bed hoping to speak to someone tomorrow to clear this up. I did take the advisor’s advice and messaged the seller about the issue before going to sleep.
4.3.23- I set an alarm to be awake to speak to another person on the live web chat, as soon as it is functioning again at 8am, to be told that the parcel would hopefully be delivered today and the person the previous night has marked it to not be returned to the seller. The app and website are also saying “due today”. Happy customer again.
Waited several hours, no change to tracking information on app or website, tried customer service line several times (automated, no actual person to speak to), however all keep saying it’s due today. Still happy.
Around 11:30am I enter a third live web chat to be told that despite the attempts of the first live chat person the night before, that the parcel was marked as return to seller after the failed delivery by the depot team and that nothing could have been done to change it. So despite the app, second live chat advisor, website and automated “customer service” number telling me for nearly 4 hours that my parcel was due today, I now learn they where all lying because nothing could be done to stop the return to seller because I refused the parcel. The Satnav recordings prove the delivery team where at the right place and marked it as return because I refused it.
I WAS NOT AT HOME TO REFUSE THE PARCEL!!!
I don’t know whose door they knocked on, I don’t know who refused the parcel but it was not my door or me. I was at work happily looking forward to my parcel delivery which I was expecting the following day.
Now the app, website and supposed customer service number are saying the parcel is heading back to the seller, who I have updated about the situation.
An utter disgrace of a company.”
“Absolutely appalling customer service, the worst I have ever received, i was supposed to receive my parcel i paid extra to have delivered next day on wednesday 1st March! I am yet to receive, they say that the delivery driver has attempted to deliver both Wednesday and Thursday and left a calling card as I wasn’t in!! I am currently housebound with a severe injury (which is why I ordered the item as part of my recovery!!) and nobody has knocked on my door or left a calling card! I have spoken several times to the webchat which is appalling and have also spoken to a manager who was less than helpful. I will not be using them again and advise everyone not too”
“It's a scam, they did not deliver my parcel. Then did not give me a non-delivery note so i could not get a refund. Called 7 times over a month and the "manager" was always out.”

“I ordered couple of my parcels from Vinted via Yodel store to store collection - first parcel arrived but I couldn't collect it, I was in the system but package disappeared and was sent back to sender. Other two deliveries are taking ages to collect. I'll never pick this carrier again, the worst experience ever.., when it comes to customer service as well- they didn't take any action and told me to go back to sender. Very irresponsible, avoid by any means!”
“Misdelivered to the wrong flat. Photo of letterbox my item was allegedly delivered to has a blue & red carpet outside - I have no carpet outside mine. Their photo also does not show the door number (kind of a key constituent of determining a delivery address) of the address they have delivered to. Every flat in this block has their number in black on the white door. Impossible to get wrong. I contacted YODEL. Their solution? For me to go to all 39 flats here to see if anyone has my parcel. Needless to say, I'm not doing that. They seem to think I should wait 24 hours until they carry out their investigation. That's not happening either. Do not deal with this company and do not deal with any company that uses them to courier their product. They are - and always have been - abysmal with absolutely zero concern for their customers. Either end of the chain.”
“Just had my parcel delivered in an safe location (UNDER A VAN AT 18.40 FRIDAY IN AN INDUSTRIAL ESTATE) . This is the third time wen left outside. Luckily I've recover the previous 2 but not this time. Yodel don't care because was delivered. I can provide evidence that have not been delivered but they don't seem to be bothered. Just avoid this delivery company that is using doggy delivery drivers.”
“Awful service. No option to speak to a person, driver can’t find use Google maps and online chat is just pre selected responses with no solutions. Avoid at all costs. Genuinely unsure why they’re legally allowed to operate like this.”
“After repeated complaints about their deliveries we left an instruction that appeared on the label of the next box: PLEASE RING OUR DOORBELL. Needless to say, they ignored it. They also did NOT leave the box in a safe place. Stupidity? Sabotage? Who can tell?”

They are unreliable, have no customer service ignore explicit drop off instructions. Leave parcels in unsafe places. Difficult to communicate with. Damage roads and properties and don’t report it.”
“Item never arrived, no contact with myself though they had my E-mail and phone number, when I contacted their customer service the drier could not remember, although though I have intercom on my flat, apparently the driver left my parcel in the main foyer, I live on the third floor, Any one passing through could have taken it. yodel avoid them absolute worst couriers in the UK, I will never use these cowboys again.”
“Yodel are so poop it's unreal. Everytime I see an online order is being delivered by them, I know I'll never receive it. The drivers who work for Yodel can't be bothered to drive through the gates and walk up to mu front door, ever! I've even said parcels can be left down the end of the drive to avoid the "long journey" up to my house, which they never do. Its always delivery attempted but never made. I've even watched out the window and seen them not even bother. Awful service. Hate them with a passion!!!”
“AVOID, paid for next day delivery, tracking states delivery time, so made sure I was in, however 3 mins after supposed delivery time started, an email was received saying an attempted delivery was made and card left. There was no such delivery attempted and no calling card left. Waste of time contacting their web support.”
“Delivery was attempted when I was out; the card said redelivery would be attempted the next day. I was unable to rearrange redelivery on line because the site does not recognise my postcode. I immediately contacted Yodel via the chat room. The agent brought up my correct address and rearranged delivery for the following Monday; I specifically instructed not to attempt a second delivery but only on the day I indicated. They came the next day anyway and left a new ID card. Again, I was unable to do anything online and had to use the chat room because, again, the site did not recognise my postcode. Guess what! My parcel has been returned to a depot (where that is - no idea) and I am expected to traipse to where I don't know by public transport at 75+. The rearranged delivery did not take place on this earth! If I could have given zero stars, I would have.”

“My parcel was sent back to depot then ‘LOST’ tracking never updated, no updates from them I had to keep ringing to be told wait 48 hours which I had done and STILL no updates! eventually after 5 days they told me it had been ‘lost’ what a joke of a delivery company! Absolute rubbish”
