“Selected Yodel as courier for Vinted parcels. On both occasions when I've been in all day an alleged "delivery" has been made. No ring on the door. No proof of delivery. No parcel received. Don't use Yodel if you want to actually receive your parcels.”
“Ordered 1 item through Wren's. It didn't arrive the first delivery date and although the tracker said it was being delivered the following day. I waited in for 2 days. Got a call from Wren's a few days later to say it had been left with my neighbour. No it hadn't. I was at work and had no Idea they were delivering that day. I rang Wren's to order another item and then on the correct day both items turned up. Yodel said they would email me back within 24 hours but they never did. Hopeless company.”
“Your delivery system is totally hopeless and useless if I had my way I would never use your services ever again I was expecting a delivery yesterday and the person who delivered it left it outside the communal door which is accessible to everyone and it said left in a safe place, some safe place that is I haven’t received my parcel I think it’s been stolen because it wasn’t left at my front door but outside a public door used by the entire block now I fear it’s been taken by a random person I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this company it’s one of the worst ever”
“it’s now a week late. told it would be delivered 5 days ago. then the day after and it repeated throughout the week. talked to the live chat 3 times “no delivery attempt has been made” then today, it said it would be delivered and then said “we need more information about your address for the SECOND time despite me updating it twice. told they would send me an email, it never came. they said i can rest assured and the delivery will be attempted in the next 24 hours. so i’m gonna sit outside and wait all day tomorrow and record their stupid lies and if they don’t show, threaten them with legal action. i’m gonna email the company i bought from and ask for a refund if it doesn’t show as well because this is atrocious. don’t use this delivery service, always search what delivery service companies are using and avoid yodel.”
“Absolutely abysmal, if I could rate them minus stars I would. Every single time I purchase anything and find Yodel is the courier I know immediately I'm going to have issues, they should not be allowed to trade. Always late, never get parcel the day it's due,always have to go through stressful web chats trying to trace parcel, often had parcels go missing completely! Here I am yet again, parcel due yesterday, tracking says arriving today, now 21-30 in the evening and it clearly isn't coming today.

“I paid a company extra for a named day delivery as I have lots of appointments/commitments at present and this was the one day I could be available all day.
I watched the driver journey and when I was one stop away I started to look out of the window. It didn’t arrive and when I checked my phone a message had been logged 6 minutes previously stating I needed to ‘chat’ with them as they needed extra delivery address information. I logged onto ’chat’ and was advised the person was available. I messaged but received no reply, even when I queried if they were there.
I then looked up Yodel telephone number. The automatic ‘bot’ didn’t recognise anything I was saying and I got put through to a foreign call centre. I explained my predicament several times and asked that the delivery be reattempted today, repeatedly told not possible. Offered alternative dates (they don’t do bank holiday or Sunday) but I couldn’t guarantee I would be available for the entirety of the 4-hour slot. I finally agreed they could re-try in a whole week’s time but I still couldn’t guarantee I would be available for the whole of the 10-2 slot. I asked if I could be placed first delivery on other days when I could be in, or last delivery today. Repeatedly told not possible for them to re-deliver within 24 hours (despite it being in the area and on the van!!)
I ring the sender to request refund of named-day delivery payment and explained the issue. They checked and confirmed that the driver was nowhere near my property when he advised me could not find it - disgraceful. I have been provided a small voucher from the sender for future use, but if they continue to use Yodel I will not use them again. Sorry sender, but every other delivery company finds us perfectly well.”
“Our neighbours literally saw the delivery guy take our item out of the box and leave the empty box, running off with the blind. He was gone in a flash. Luckily we caught him on CCTV. PayPal refunded immediately in full. Can’t believe these thieves exist.”

I ordered a pair of shoes from Bands of the Walls, and Yodel was responsible for the delivery. The tracking information stated that the package was delivered, but I never received it. I was home all day, and no one rang the doorbell or attempted to contact me. There was no delivery attempt, no notification, nothing.
This is not just poor service; it’s completely unacceptable. I had to reach out to the retailer to report the missing package, which is an inconvenience that could have been avoided with proper delivery practices.
Based on this experience, I will avoid any retailers that use Yodel for deliveries. I urge others to do the same until Yodel can provide reliable and honest service. ”
“Shocking service. The courier does not collect parcels from the collection point for many days, and even when they come, they only take part. For this reason, one of my parcels is on its way after 3 days of waiting for the courier and another is still waiting and it is not known when it will be collected because even after contacting Yodel on the chat they are not able to give me information. It is a miracle that this company still exists. An absolute disaster.”
“Worst delivery company I've ever delt with. Failed to deliver my parcel because apparently they couldn't find my address which is funny because every other delivery firm finds it. They then ask me to choose somewhere else for my parcel to go so I choose the local shop and they also failed to deliver it there and sent it back to the sender I disputed it with the customer service team who are absolutely shocking a child could do a better job then them. Worst courier service around!”
“If I knew the seller was using Yodel I would not have placed the order. I waited in as the parcel was shown out for delivery in a 2 hour window. That time came and went and tracking showed the driver 3 stops away. Nothing arrived and this same situation has happened before but only with Yodel”
“In 5½ years, my neighbours and I have never yet had a Yodel delivery brought to the right address. Everybody else can get here—Royal Mail, DPD, even Evri! Coal lorries, oil tankers, fire engines, ambulances: they can all get down our lane when needed. It's only Yodel who can't manage it.
And Yodel's complaints team is just a waste of time. Not sure they're even real human beings. The messages seem to be generated by AI, you can never get a straight answer to a simple question, and after 5½ years of these robotic apologies and promises, nothing has actually been done to fix the problem.
Meanwhile, the local Yodel service centre manager (Stockton) has ignored all our attempts to communicate directly with him. It seems the Stockton service centre manager is happy to let Yodel drivers continue dumping parcels in the rain and the mud, in the middle of nowhere, instead of coming to the actual property where parcels can be left under cover in a clearly signposted safe place.”
“I sold an item on eBay and shipped it the next day with Yodel. The buyer was supposed to receive the item within a few days but it never arrived. After 2 weeks of not receiving the item, he canceled the order and refunded the money. I corresponded with Yodel for several weeks and got nothing, they apologized that the item was delayed for several weeks but claimed that they would later deliver it to the customer. It's been 2 months now. Due to the delay of this horrible company, I lost money, the customer and the item. The customer service is terrible, they write the same sentences, it feels like a robot is answering. They don't take responsibility. Avoid this sender, they lose the item and don't compensate, they don't even refund for shipping the item.”
